You shifted in your sleep to feel something large holding your hand and you felt that tingle you felt anytime you were around Goku, you tried to open your eyes to be met with intense sunshine that made you squeeze your eyes shut immediately.

"Can someone get the blinds?" you let out in a very quiet cracky voice causing you to clear your throat.

You heard feet sliding against the floor before the sound of curtains could be heard and you opened your eyes easily this time to see a sleeping Goku at the end of the bed holding your hand and a concerned Vegeta at the window looking back at you.

"Thank god for your awake, this fool hasn't moved all night," Vegeta said walking over to the side of the bed

"He stayed here all night?" You asked not believing him at first

"Yeah, I had to bring him food too!" He added obviously kind of annoyed

You looked at the sleeping Goku and couldn't help but smile, a frown came across your face as you thought about Goten

"Where Goten? He didn't leave him home alone did he ?"  You asked worrying about the mini Goku

Before Vegeta could answer, two voices can be heard outside the door before they bust in loudly causing Goku to scramble to his feet in a defensive stance ready for anything and saw trunks and Goten who both exclaimed when they saw you were awake

"Y/n!" "Aunty Y/n!"

This made Goku wipe around to see you were awake, a wide smile spread across his face as he quickly scooped you into his arms before the boys could get to you hugging the crap out of you but you reciprocated enjoying it.

"I was so worried !" He let out as he held you out at arm's length inspecting you over not fully trusting Whis

"Kakarot stop smothering her! Don't make regret what I said !"Vegeta snapped at Goku not liking how he was acting

"What did you say" you raised your eyebrow at Vegeta

"I didn't say anything" he turned his head not wanting others to know what he said to Goku

You gave him a suspicious look but decided to let it go.

The rest of the morning passed slowly as Goku didn't leave your side and you didn't complain, they filled you in on what happened with Frieza and made sure you had plenty to eat. Goku had his regular appetite back and ate most of Bulma kitchen after the hunger of all the energy he used yesterday kicked in.

Whis had left after eating to go tend to Beerus and his other angelic duties, but he had told Bulma to tell you he would be back within the week maybe with Beerus if he woke up.

It was the afternoon now and you were sitting outside enjoying the sun watching as Goku played/fought with Trunks and Goten, Bulma had dragged Vegeta off somewhere so it was just the four of you right now. They were mid-match when went super and they almost ruined the whole backyard. You wouldn't let them get too crazy so you got up to try and stop them but when you got up Goku saw you, he stopped the match and transported in front of you and gave you a concerned look

"You should be resting"

"You guys are gonna ruin the yard and I know Trunks doesn't want to deal with his mother's wrath, isn't that right trunks?" You look over to see Trunks rubbing the back of his head before agreeing with you.

"So what should we do then, you need to rest," Goku said while giving you a stern look

"Why don't we go check on the dinosaurs Dad!" Goten exclaimed

"Ohh Gotens Dad can we please!!!" Trunks begged, "Aunty Y/n get him to take us please!" He put his hand together for extra enthusiasm

"You guys I don't think that's the smartest idea, I don't want y/n to push herself" he gave the boys a small smile

"Can't you just carry her? Just like Dad does to mom?" Trunks asked making a blush arise on your face

"I can fly myself I'm not that.." before you could finish you were already in Goku's arms in the air as he shouted down to the boys to follow "I could have flew myself you know"

"No. you need rest and besides I like being this close to you" he let out without thinking, he realized what he said and was trying to backtrack "I mean uh-"  but you stopped him

"It's okay, I like being close to you too I just feel bad" You put your head against his chest as you guys flew on

"Don't feel bad y/n" You loved the way he said your name "Getting to carry someone as beautiful as you, is like the best prize I could ever get" he gave you another wide smile which made you blush even harder

You guys flew with the boys following as you past the wasteland and got to a jungle-like biome and started to see all kinds of dinosaurs scatter the area. The boys flew off to play and you and Goku landed on a cliff and watched from a distance. You were sitting side by side for a while then resting your head on his shoulder.

The two of you sat quietly for some time before Goku broke the silence.

"Y/n there is something I wanna tell you" his voice laced with nervousness.

You raised your head from his shoulder and scooted a bit turning yourself to him, giving him a comforting smile confirming he can go on. He shared the smile and took a deep breath.

"I like you, and after yesterday" he paused thinking of the events "I couldn't let another day go by and not tell you" Goku broke eye contact and looked at the ground and now he couldn't see the smile that spread across your face.

"I like you too"

"I understand if you don't like me too I can be pretty silly sometimes wait what did you say" Goku continued not hearing you at first then stopped when what you said settled in

You let out a laugh "I like you too Goku, I've never felt this way about anyone, I care deeply about both you and Goten" You looked down and smiled again as you watched the two boys play with a few of the bigger dinosaurs below.

A huge smile spread across Goku's face as he lifted you up and spun you around shouting in glee, catching you by surprise and catching the attention of the boys down below who watched confused, until Goku stopped spinning you to admire you before pulling you into a deep kiss

Both boys from down below let out an "ew" before turning their attention back to the dinosaurs.

You and Goku's lips pressed together and that tingle that you could always feel multiplied and it now felt as if you found your other half.

His lips felt like home.

After the kiss you two sat together again this time his one arm around you as you played with his other hand watching the boys tire themselves out, both you and Goku were filled with happiness and a sense of contentment. This was a perfect moment neither of you wanted to end but eventually, you'd had to leave.

The boys finished playing as they were now getting hungry and didn't want to play anymore, you couldn't deny food so you all headed back to Bulma's still hand and hand with Goku.

As you neared you saw that Vegeta and Bulma were back and Vegeta was complaining about having to do something he didn't want to do. When you landed Trunks and Goten ran past him into the house as you and Goku just walked to join the other adults to see what was going on.

"I'm not wearing those earthling clothing you darn woman!" Vegeta exclaimed pulling at his hair.

"One night is all I ask Vegeta!" Bulma yelled back

"Hey, what's going on ?" You asked as you approached them

Vegeta snapped around spotting the two of you his eyes traveled between the two of you until they landed on your hands together. He may have said Kakarot wasn't the worst person but it didn't mean he wanted it or liked it, he now regretted ever saying anything

"I should be asking what's going on! Kakarot why are you holding my sister's hand!" Vegeta let out anger building in his voice

"That's none of your business, and I asked the question!" you snapped not having any patience for your brother's attitude problem.

"Bulma wants me to wear silly earth clothing, plain and simple now what the hell is going on HERE!" He said while pointing his finger toward your hands while shaking it

"Hey, Vegeta didn't you just tell me last night that I wasn't the worst person to be with your sister?" Goku butted in earning confused looks from you and Bulma

"I never said I'd be happy about it!" Vegeta snapped

"What are you guys talking about?" You and Bulma asked now totally confused.

"When I was sitting with y/n last night, Vegeta said "You know kakarot" Goku began in a Vegeta impression "You aren't the worst for my sister, and if you hurt her Kakarot I will personally kill you"

"Awe Vegeta!" Bulma awed

"Shut it, woman!" Embarrassed Vegeta yells before getting even more mad. "Saiyans technically fight for the right to be another's mate you know! Back on planet Vegeta if one wanted to take one as a mate they had to fight the strongest of their family to even prove worthy! I should challenge you right here Kakarot!" Vegeta bellowed as his anger and energy rose making the ground rumble around him, his mind now thinking of his planet and his lost traditions

"STOP THAT RIGHT NOW" You let go of Goku's hand and grabbed Vegeta by his ear, earning a pained response and a grunt as his energy shot back down.

"if that's the case then technically bulma should have to fight me which I personally would rather not kill my new sister" you continued

"AWE! Y/n you think of me as a sister" Bulma shrieked, not fazed by anything

"I do" you gave her a smile "Now Vegeta Back the hell off" You whipped your head back to him and you shoved your finger in his chest pushing him back and making him take a few steps from the force

Vegeta stared at you now conflicted turned away and stormed off, You didn't care enough to stop or ask him where he was going so you turned back to Bulma

"I'm so sorry, I would never actually but I needed him to see how stupid he was being" you pleaded

"Oh dear it's okay, he will calm down eventually, I personally think you two are super cute!" She looked over your shoulder and gave Goku a wink she turned her head back to you and took a few steps and grabbed your hands before continuing "Us sisters need to stick together, if he still has issues I'll deal with it" You gave her a hug before she made you spill the story on how it all went down.

Bulma invited Goku and Goten to stay for dinner to which he declined and actually invited you over to have dinner at his place with him and Goten, to which you gladly agreed. You were still upset about how Vegeta acted and would prefer to be away from him, you guys found Goten and headed on your way to his house. You had never been to Goku's house yet and you were excited to see where he called home.

As you neared the mountains you spotted a dome-like home far away from the others but by a lake and the forest. You landed at the house and Goku had suggested you guys go fishing and Goten was excited to show you how they fished. You were a little surprised at first to learn that they personally catch it but you were excited to try it for yourself. You, Goku and Goten took turns fishing until you had a nice haul, you all shared laughs enjoying the time together. You cooked the fish over the fire before bringing it inside for dinner, you sat around the table eating and then you helped the boys clean up before settling down on the couch to watch something on the tv.

You guys had watched a couple of movies sharing some popcorn and a few other snacks, some time passed and the second movie had come to an end.

"Would you want to stay here for the night? It's pretty late I could sleep on the couch if you want after taking Goten to bed?"Goku asked looking over at you beside him on the couch with a sleeping Goten in your lap.

You looked down at the sleeping Goten in your lap and brushed a few of his hairs to the side before smiling and looking up at Goku who was watching you. "Sure but you don't have to sleep on the couch. I'll go put Goten in his room and I'll meet you in yours. sound okay?"

"You still need to rest I can take Goten" he tried to protest

"Stop worrying about me I'm also a saiyan you know"

"Okay okay" he held his hand up in surrender with a smile.

You got up lifted the sleeping Goten in your arms and headed towards his bedroom, you entered his room, made your way to his bed, and laid him down, you made sure to tuck him in before whispering "Goodnight sweetheart" and leaving a kiss on his forehead.

You went to turn away and he mumbled out a "goodnight y/n" before cuddling into his blankets.

You turned around to find a smiling Goku watching you from the doorway, you walked to him before wrapping your arms around him and sharing a hug. A few minutes passed and Goku was getting tired of standing, he looked down to see it looked like you had fallen asleep.

"Uh y/n we should probably head to bed now," Goku said while looking down at you, when you didn't budge he tried shaking you a little but got no response. So Goku picked you up bridal style before walking you to his room where he laid you in the bed, he went to the other side got in, and wrapped his arms around you settling into sleep.

During the night like most nights, Goten had woken up and made his way to his dad's room, this time when he saw you and his dad both there he couldn't help but smile and crawled onto the bed nuzzling into your free side and join the cuddle session and falling deep asleep.
