It was finally time for the ceremony so they both padded toward the camp. When the reached it Moon Pool lead the way. Morning Star went on the tallest rock in the whole camp, she called it the high rock. Moon Pool and Ash sat bellow Morning Star as she was making a speech.

"Everyone who is old enough to catch their own prey gather bellow the high rock."
A swarm of cats came out of their dens and into the clearing. Morning Star began to talk again. "Yesterday we found a kitty pet sleeping helplessly under a puny rock. I have decided to take her in." Morning Star called Ash up to stand next to her. Cats big and small started hissing, " she's a kitty pet what are you thinking Morning Star."

"Silence! Give her a chance. I told you one million times we need more warriors and this is a opportunity." Ash stared to look at Morning Star with disbelief that she wanted her this bad. Morning Star look at Ash with a sweet friendly smile on her face. "Do you promise to follow the warrior code at act like we do?" Asked the leader.

" I promise" replied Ash.
" Then your new name will be Ashpaw!" Exited mummers came from other cats. Moonpool laughed at Ashpaw because  she was flicking her tail back and forth and her whiskers were twitching nervously. Ashpaw suddenly herd something in the tip of the breeze.
