I was walking home from school on the path that day. I had my head held down wishing I could go back in time, but as soon as reality hit me my thoughts were washed away. (Smack) "OUCH"! Ash fell backwards falling onto the hard rock ground. She looked up and said " ugh, stupid tree". She looked up even father seeing how far the tree stretched up to the sky.

"Wow" she thought in amazement. She assumed that the tree was a red oak because of how tall it was. She realized she wanted to remember this tree somehow, but she couldn't figure how to remember it bye. She thought and thought until she finally thought of something. " I can draw a heart that says me plus dad plus mom. This way I can remember them forever when I walk down the path after school".

She grabbed a sharp stick from the forest floor and started to carve the tree. Ash finished and started to walk home again feeling less stressed out than she had felt this morning. As she went up the stairs and opened the house doors she went straight into her room and took out her homework. "Ugh algebra", she thought.

After she finished her homework for school Ash went down stairs to eat dinner. "Hi mom", she said feeling bright and happy. "Hi honey", replied her mom. "You seem to be happy, anything I need to know about?."
"Nope I am perfectly fine.", said Ash.
"Oh ok" said her mom. The next day after school she walked down the forest path. The leaves were almost crawling on the forest floor up to Ash to greet her.

She was walking when she saw her special tree that she had craved into. Ash went up and touched the heart to feel the memories of her father. As soon as she touched it then let go she fell to the ground not waking up. Suddenly she woke up 3 hours later not knowing what happened. "Ooo my head" Ash said feeling very dizzy. She went to touch her head and looked up. "AHHHH", Ash screamed looking at her hand. "WHAT! my hand is a paw!"

She quickly looked down at her other hand and feet. "Oh no God has punished me! Wait maybe this might not be too bad."So Ash tried walking, but she fell the first time. She got up and started padding up the hills and down the forest normally, just as she did when she was not a stray cat.
