Author's Notes:

Power training! ^.^ I screwed up my knee a bit while I was running and play wrestling XD So uh yeah.
I have like no author's notes so yeah just enjoy the story XD

"Yes!" Dani said pumping a fist in the air, eyes shining green in excitement. "I'm going ghost!" she transformed.

Danny laughed and facedpalmed, while his little sister still said that catchphrase from time to time, he never really did anymore. He used to yell that because it sounded childish and made him less afraid. C'mon, who wouldn't be at least a tiny bit freaked out at being half ghost?

He rolled his eyes and decided to humor her. "I'm going ghost." He said before transforming as well 'When did I stop saying that? Oh yeah, a little after the disasteroid thing happened. And here I am saying it again.' Danny thought chuckling.

"What's so funny?"

"Oh nothing, just thinking of the irony; I didn't want anyone to know I was half ghost yet I would always yell that."

"Yeeeaah, that sure was smart of you." She teased.

"Hey gimme a break, I was a fourteen year old playing superhero. And all superheroes have a catchphrase." He half argued, grinning.

"I don't think Superman would yell 'I'm going Superman' before diving into a phone booth or closet."

"Um..." was the other's brilliant response.

"And I don't recall Peter Parker saying 'I'm going spider' in any of the movies."

"You," he said pointing a finger at her accusingly. "Are mean to me."

"I know, but you love me anyway."

"Hmph, what else am I supposed to do?" he rolled his eyes smiling.

The two halfas phased through the ceiling and flew to Amity Park's park. As they flew over the park there were a few calls of "Hey, it's Danny!" or "Phantom!" to which he politely waved in acknowledgment. Nobody ever paid much attention to Danielle, having seen the ghost girl before, or sometimes mistaking her for Danny. Also the hero was often seen hanging out with ghosts like Ember or Johnny so to the public Danielle was no different. Danny just hoped that no one would be able to piece together the reason as to why the girl who would be starting high school looked so much like the ghost girl he often hanged out with. He knew that it was unlikely for anyone to do so but he could be a little paranoid couldn't he?

They soon reached a part of the park where not so many people visited; it was the same place where Danny had gone to train Cujo. He smiled sadly at the memory. After the puppy had retrieved his toy, he had vanished and the halfa hadn't seen him after that. One day he had asked Clockwork about that. The elder ghost had said that he couldn't say anything except that sometimes ghost, especially ones in search of a possession, usually passed on after locating it. He had been crushed after hearing that. He had always wanted a puppy but he was happy that Cujo had found peace. Danny waved away the memory and turned to face Danielle.

Now that he had a chance to think about it, he had no idea what he was going to train Danielle about. "Uh okay, what do you want to learn how to do?" he asked her.

Dani shrugged in response. "I already told you ice powers but I have to wait for that, so I don't know. Whatever you want to teach me I guess."

'Well that's helpful.' "Hm..." he thought about it for a moment before finally hitting upon an idea. "Okay, today I'll show you how to shape ectoplasm. Some are useful but some are pretty much pointless. Now bear with me, remember I've only had these powers for four years."

"So have I." she pointed out

"Yeah, but I'm eighteen."

"And I'm sixteen." She stated

"Nooo, technically you're four, which makes Valerie a major pedo."

"Hey!" Danielle said definitely not pouting. Danny laughed and after a few moments of unsuccessful glaring she joined in.

"O-okay let's get started." He said struggling not to laugh. "You know to do a shield which is good but there are other things like you can make. Like rope for example or a sword. There are also things you can make that have nothing to do with fighting."

He made a movement with his hands as if he were making a snowball, ectoplasm glowed from his hands and began to take shape, soon he was holding a glowing green rose. He presented the rose to Danielle with an over the top bow. Dani giggled and accepting the glowing flower.

"Except for the fact that it looks radioactive it's very pretty." Dani complimented.

"Just summon some ectoplasm, think of what you want it to look like and channel the thought and energy into your hands." He explained, he waved his hands and the flower disappeared much to Dani's disappointment.

She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and positioned her hands like the other had shown her. Her hands glowed green, and soon enough she had a not so round circle. "Like that?" she asked hopefully.

Danny nodded and clapped. "Fantastic!"

Dani smiled and banished the blob like circle.

"I know how to make shapes with ectoplasm because I already know how to do so with my ice powers. But ectoplasm is harder to form thank ice." He explained.

"How come?"

"Because ice has a higher density. With ice it's like you're molding clay; with ectoplasm to me at least, it's like trying to sculpt with water. First time I tried to make shapes with ectoplasm it blew up in my face. Literally."

Dani laughed.

"So," he continued. "When I take you to Frostbite you should be good at making forms with ice if you learn how to work with ectoplasm first."

"Cool, how about I try a weapon now?"

"Hm try practicing shapes a bit more first."

She made another circle blob, a half decent square and a straight up blob before she was able to get the ectoplasm to do what she wanted. She produced a sphere, cube, octagon and showed off by doing a dodecahedron.

"Okay, okay. You can try a weapon now." Danny said laughing.

"Finally!" she said with an exaggerated sigh of relief.

"You can try to make a sword, it's not as easy as it sounds, the shape is easy to make but it's hard to get it to be sharp and not just a blunt stick." After Vlad had fought him with an ecto sword in that samurai fight Danny had tried to duplicate it. He had been able to make an ecto sword of his own, but not before many failed attempts. Dani formed a sword easily.

"Good. Now uh..." Danny went to a try and broke off a branch that was about three inches thick, give or take. "Now try to cut this." He said holding the sword a good length away from him.

Dani raised the sword high over her head with both hands and brought it down. The sword only went about half an inch into the branch and then broke in half. She looked at the broken sword like it had just insulted her.

"C'mon Dani, need I remind you of how ectoplasm exploded in my face?'

Dani giggled a bit but stopped. "But why didn't it work? It looked alright."

"Try focusing more on the blade, you were probably focused too much on the actual shape of the sword itself. Think of something sharp, cutting edge-"

"You want me to think of Valerie?" she interrupted.

Danny rolled his eyes. "Funny."

She banished the broken sword and then focused her powers into making a new sword, holding it her hands with a determined look on her face.

"Try again." He encouraged, holding the branch out to her again.

Dani raised the sword once more and brought it down on the tree branch. The sword went through the branch like a hot knife through butter.

"Whoah..." Danny said obviously impressed.

Dani smirked. "Didn't think I could do it did you?"

He shook his head. "It's not that, it's just I didn't expect you to be such a quick learner."

"You shouldn't underestimate me." She stuck her tongue out at him.

The siblings practiced at the park for nearly an hour. By the time they were done Dani had learned how to make a sword, whip, rope, a few useless shapes like a flower and a fan, and a gun (even though just she could shot ectoplasm through her fingers) She had shot a hole in the ground and almost shot Danny in the foot; he had dived into a tree to avoid being hit. Danny pulled out his phone and checked the time, eleven exactly.

"Hey, we need to get to Sam's house!" He called from the canopy of the tree before climbing out.

"Okay," she flashed him a devious smile. "Race ya!" she shouted before speeding off possible breaking the sound barrier in her wake.

"Cheater!" he called racing after her

The race lasted a few seconds; Danielle barely won.

I think Vlad and Danny should get to re-know each other, don't you?
There's gonna be a chapter where they're gonna be talking with each other, asking questions and re-discovering the other.
