Yay! We finally hear from fruitloop!!!! XD
So uh yeah hope you all like the chapter ^.^

"Come here Badger," Vlad sighed, put his book down and patted the space next to him on the sofa. "What's wrong?"

The younger sighed as well, turned human, walked over to the sofa and sat down. He always felt welcome around the other, as if as soon as he was in his presence he was free to shrug off his hero identity. That around the man he only had to be Danny Fenton, normal average person, not Danny Phantom, hero of Amity Park.

"Technus gave me a musical virus; whenever I feel overly emotional I break out in song." The teen explained.

"...Well that doesn't exactly sound so bad." He said after a beat.

"It's humiliating! Look it's not so much what he did that bothers me, it's that he did it. I've already had a shitty school week and now this..."

"Too much all at once?"

"Exactly. Perfectly described."

"How long will the virus last?"

"Supposedly only twenty four hours. Can I hide here till then?" the younger asked, half serious.

The other chuckled. "I think your parents and your friends would notice your absence."

"Oh right... Um sorry for killing your wall, and for repeatedly yelling 'fuck'." He said laughing awkwardly.

The older halfa smiled. "Don't worry about that. I'm just glad that I got to see you, I missed seeing you."

The teen tinted just a bit. 'He missed me...shut up brain! Focus damn it!'

"I'm happy to see you again too. I mean, I wanted to visit you but I didn't want to drop in with no good reason, even though in the end that's what I ended up doing."

Vlad laughed and covered his mouth with one hand in an attempt to stifle his laughter, to no avail.

"What's so funny?" the teen asked perplexed.

"That's the exact same reason as to why I haven't visited you. I did try to visit a couple of times but you were always passed out."

Danny burst out laughing "So you're saying that we've been idiots for the same reason?"

"Apparently so."

'Wow...that is just stupid. It's stupid. Maybe a teeny bit romantic but mostly stupid.' The younger halfa thought.

"So why has school been 'shitty'?" the other male asked attempting to start a conversation.

"Well don't get me wrong, the classes are good but there's this one guy who picks on me a little." He said under-exaggerating.

"Then tell him to quit it, use those scary eyes of yours." He offered

"I've kinda been getting in trouble for using my scary eyes." He confessed with a sigh.

"Well that's ridiculous; unless you're trying to do it on purpose then it's not exactly something you can control."

"That's exactly what I said!" 'Or at least tried to say.' He added silently "Well you've asked enough questions, my turn to ask one. What do you even do here all day?"

The older halfa shrugged. "Read, walk around, go outside, watch T.V, swim in the pool, go outside. I haven't exactly worked out a schedule yet."

"Whoah, you have a pool? I am so using that one day."

"You're welcome to do so. Hm I don't know what else I could ask you. How are your friends?"

"They're good, same as normal," 'And they would totally kill me if they knew that I was here talking with you.' He mentally added. "I haven't seen Kitty or Johnny in a while. And alter turned into a princess."

"Pardon? You are talking about Alter the skeleton horse right?"

"Yeah but they're a shapeshifter. Long story short, Youngblood changed his costume to a knight so Alter changed into a princess. They have this whole thing that they have to match."

"Ah, well I suppose that makes sense."

They spent some time talking, joking, exchanging small stories and laughing. Each of them feeling completely at ease with the other. As if the older halfa hadn't been gone for all those years; it felt like they had been together for those four years instead of apart. But as they talked the teen couldn't help but think of how his family and friends would act if they saw him like this; about what would happen if they knew about his feelings for the other man. What does it even matter what they think? He's a legally an adult, he was allowed to be with the person of his choice, at least that's how he thought it should be. He knew that reality was much crueler, that they would never forgive the mistakes that the man had made in the past.

"Wait till you hear what happened next!" the younger halfa said laughing. "After Tucker accidentally hit Sam with a water balloon she went-" he shuddered. 'No, please no. Not now!' his mind screamed.

"Daniel? Are you-"

"I'm sorry, Virus is kicking in, give me a minute." He said in a rush as he turned ghost and sped out of the room.

"Badger it's fine, it's just a song." He heard Vlad call after him.

'I know, I know that it's just a song. But I don't want you to know what song I would sing in front of you, because of you, for you. Hell, even I don't want to know.'

He flew out of the house, into the woods and sat in a tree like he had done for the last song. It had taken him about two seconds to get there. No sooner did he sit down did the words start spilling out of his mouth, shocking him with its lyrics.

"I just want you close, where you can stay forever. You can be sure that it will only get better.

You and me together through the days and nights. I don't worry 'cause everything's gonna be alright. People keep talking they can say what they like. But all I know is everything's gonna be alright. No one, no one, no one can get in the way of what I'm feeling. No one- "

He clapped a hand over his mouth in shock, only to be hit with a migraine a second later. 'Aah!!' he uncovered his mouth and the lyrics continued to flow out of him.

'This...this is the song that describes what I'm feeling right now!? ...this is what Technus meant when he said he wanted to embarrass me. He's always criticizing me over my emotions so now he's forcing me to face my emotions in one of the purest forms that they can be expressed, song.'

He continued singing and looked up at the sky, blinking back a few stupid (in his opinion) tears, refusing to cry. 'But I don't want to face them; I want to hide from my feelings. Forever if I can and at the same time... I want to face them, let them cover me over, embrace them.' The teen sighed, closed his eyes and succumbed to the song. 'Might as well give it my all.'

"I know some people search the world to find something like what we have. I know people will try, try to divide, something so real. So till the end of time I'm telling you there ain't no one no one, no one can get in the way of what I'm feeling. No one, no one, no one can get in the way of what I feel for you. Oh oh oh..."

He had always hated how he sang because his vice would raise a pitch when he did so. Even though Kitty, Ember and Johnny disagreed with his opinion. Even his friends had commented on how spectacularly he sang before they had left. He had always hated his singing, but now as he practically poured his heart into the song he had to admit that he didn't sound half bad.

When the song finished running its course he raked a hand through his hair and laughed shakily. "Well that happened."

Author's Notes:

I thought that this song would describe Danny's feelings pretty good, remember he's not only singing of his love, he's also singing of how he will stand by his decision no matter what others say or think. And also he's still confused about what his feelings are exactly, so I didn't want to have him singing a song that used the word "love" specifically.
Next chapter the goofballs shall be talking an goofing off XD
I love writing chapters like this with fluff, embarrassment, fun... but i also like fucking up my character's lives >:)
