Author's Notes:

Just wanted to throw this little idea in.
In my fucked up brain since Alter is a shapeshifter they should be able to shapeshift into any living thing.

"What is it now?" Sam sighed.

"I wanna change the cowboy look but I can't decide between superhero, wizard, knight and uh I think I had a few other ideas but I can't remember." Youngblood said flying around lazily in circles

"Knight, definitely." Danny said.

"Yeah that one does sound cool and it would work for you since so far your costumes have been based off of history timelines." The techno geek said, shutting off his PDA and getting up from his corner.

"Yeah, just don't go nuts with chainmail and armor." The huntress added.

"Okay, okay you guys convinced me." The cowboy said laughing, he closed his eyes and his clothes transformed.

The cowboy clothes disappeared and in its place was a knight's costume. It included a fitted midnight blue tunic with some kind of lion crest in the center, armor on the shoulders, black leggings, boots and gloves as well as a deep blue cape with white trimmings and to top it all off a brown belt that held a sword on the side. "Well what do you think?" Youngblood said, acting and looking like a little kid who was getting all dressed up for Halloween.

"Take it from someone who has been in medieval times ghost zone style, you look awesome." The goth said.

"Looks really cool Youngblood!" Dani said amazed at the costume change.

"Thanks! Okay your turn Alter, You're fine with knights right? Sorry I forgot to ask." Youngblood said to the horse apologetically.

Alter had for some reason mellowed out over the years and no longer got annoyed at the other's shenanigans, at least not easily. Danny guessed that it was because Youngblood wasn't very keen on listening anyway.  "You know I'm fine with nearly anything." Alter said before transforming as well.

The halfas and their friends looked shocked (to saw the least) at the horse's new form.

"What?" Alter asked, confused at their reaction.

Alter now looked like a little girl about Youngblood's age. They now had wavy light blonde hair, a dress, tiara and shoes with a slight heel. The dress was velvet red with puffed sleeves around the shoulders and flowy around the wrists, poufy skirt and an embroidered belt around the waist with pearls. They also had matching pearl earrings and necklace.

"Oh is it because I'm not a skeleton this time?" Alter asked, their voice now had a slight English accent and sounded as feminine as their new look.

"No! It's just that usually you're uh..." Dani started.

"Some kind of animal." The huntress finished.

"My look changes depending on what would best suit Youngblood's games. A parrot for when he was a pirate, horse for cowboy ad I wasn't present when he went through that silly astronaut costume because I couldn't think of what could pair with that-"

"Hey I said I was sorry! How long are you going to hold that against me? I changed back to cowboy right after!" the knight protested.

"I doubt that it's proper for the knight to raise their voice at the princess," Alter said before continuing with their explanation. "Anyway now that he decided on a knight I decided that I princess would best suit that game. I didn't want to be a horse again because I don't like to be redundant."

"Well that kind of makes sense." Tucker said still a bit confused.

"Not to be rude but you're often a boy so uh what do we call you now that you look like that? I mean what were you originally, a boy or a girl?" the huntress asked.

"I was kinda wondering the same thing. We wouldn't want to address you wrongly" The goth said.

"Oh hm..." Alter pondered that for a bit. "I don't remember what gender I was originally. Do you Youngblood."

"Beats me, sorry. It's just that I've changed costumes and you've changed forms so many times that it's hard to keep track." He apologized.

"Just call me refer to me as she since that's what I look like at the moment. But if it bothers you that you don't know what I am for sure you could just call me 'highness' since that's neutral, and it would suit the new game." Alter said with a laugh.

"Okay your highness." Dani said with a curtsy, giggling.

"Well it's time for us to go, bye Danny(i)'s, Youngblood and Alter." Tucker said.

"Fare thee well." Youngblood said already trying out his new knight act. "Was that right Alter?"

The princess shrugged. "You could say that or simply 'Farewell' either is fine. Why are you asking me now? I thought that you didn't like it when I would correct you."

"Yeah but since you've been so patient with me lately it's only fair that I try to work with you too. Besides don't knights have good eat-a-kit?"

Alter giggled. "Etiquette, but yes you are correct."

"Once again, great new look, both of you. Bye." Sam said before descending the steps with her boyfriend.

Valerie gave Dani a kiss catching her off guard. "See you tomorrow, or I could just break into your room later tonight." She said

"Tomorrow's fine." The ghost girl said, face slightly red.

"If you say so. Bye guys." She said before leaving as well.

"So do you want to stay for dinner or something?" the male halfa offered the ghosts.

"Nah, we should probably get back. Thanks for the offer though. Bye Danny and Dani-ellie." Youngblood said

"You remember the code?" the ghost girl asked.

"Um..."

"I remember it." Alter said.

"Great! Bye guys." The knight said before phasing through the roof followed by the princess.

"I did not know Alter could do that." Dani said flabbergasted as the halfas phased into the dining room.

"What, and you think I did?" her brother replied

"I was just about to go up and get you two." Their father said as Dani turned human and the two halfas took their seats.

"Why were you on the roof? Training?" their mother asked as put plates of food (chicken strips and rice) in front of them.

"We were playing with Alter, Youngblood and our friends." The ghost girl explained.

"Those are the invisible ones that can only be seen by kids right?" Maddie asked as she took her seat.

"Kids, immature people, people with overactive imaginations or just people they choose to let see them." The male halfa clarified

"How is that any different from what I said?" their mother deadpanned.

"Not much, but I'm not a kid so I just thought I'd elaborate on that matter."

"Far enough." She chuckled.

They soon finished eating and put the dishes in the sink. Whether it was because of the long school day, running around, having a shield up for so long or the chicken sleep was quickly catching up to Danny. In fact, it was nipping at his heels.

'And I have pretty decent stamina, I can only imagine that the others are asleep at the dinner table.' He thought as he sat on the sofa watching T.V with his family. He stifled a yawn and looked at the clock, it was barely eight. He struggled to stay awake as he watched T.V but by nine he couldn't take it anymore.

"I'm going to bed, night." He said as he stumbled off of the sofa and trudged up the stairs to his room.

"Finally! I was determined not to pass out before you! I'll be going to bed soon too." His sister called exasperatedly after him.

"Kay!" he entered his room, closing the door behind him. He took off the concealer, stripped from his clothes and changed into a long sleeve pajama shirt (checking the design first) and shorts. He was about to take off the necklace but decided against it, after all, if the other paid a visit later he wanted to be sure to remember to thank him for the gift. He plugged in the nightlight, flipped off the light switch, practically threw himself onto the bed, covered himself with the blanket and fell asleep almost instantly.

Author's Notes:

Alter don't argue or correct Youngblood anymore since they realized it's futile. XD
I don't know how I got the idea for the upcoming chapter, I'm laughing my ass off writing it. Screw my fucked up brain.
I think that Youngblood and King's (from the seven deadly sins) personalities are similar. They would have the most badass playdate ever XD
