Instead Danny heard a yelp of surprise and turned around to find a surprised Danielle looking at Dash as she was held by the back of her shirt.

"Hey, get away from her!" he and Valerie said almost simultaneously.

"The fuck?" The bully said looking between the two halfas, letting go of the girl.

"Creep." The ghost girl said unbunching her shirt from where he had grabbed her and went next to her girlfriend.

"Really Dash? Harassing a girl? Even I didn't think you could get that low." Sam said, crossing her arms and trying to keep her cool (and failing), Tucker looked just as pissed as she did.

"Okay, who the hell cloned Fagton?" Dash sneered.

The male halfa felt his blood boil. "That's my little sister." He managed to grate out.

"Well you look exactly the same. And where the hell did you get a little sister? The only sister you have is Jazz."

"Get your eyes checked bozo, I'm obviously taller than her, she has longer hair than me, and here's the biggest difference, I'm a dude!" he cast a quick look at his sister. She was looking at down at the floor, and for a split second he thought that she might be crying. Then he saw the faint green glow from behind her bangs; her eyes were glowing.

He sighed. 'Smart girl, least she's not showing her ghost half like I told her too. Can't believe I thought that she was crying, she never cries.' He looked at his friends and saw that they looked just like he felt, and he knew that the only reason that Valerie hadn't jumped Dash yet was because she didn't want to cause a scene, or draw any more attention to the ghost girl.

"Danny eyes!" the techno geek whisper shouted at him

Sure enough he could practically feel his eyes glowing; but that wasn't what his friend had been referring to. A small crowd had gathered around them, mostly freshman looking for a little first day fight.

'Great, the last thing I wanted to do was attract attention.' The older teen thought fuming. "Look Dash," he said sighing and blinking his eyes back to normal. "Let's not do this today. It's the first day of our senior year. So why don't you go check out some cheerleaders and I could get to class."

Before the other could reply, yet another voice joined the conversation. "Okay Shoo! Get to your classes!" the crowd dispersed almost immediately, revealing Mr. Lancer.

"This is so not my day." The male halfa groaned, trying to resist the urge to slam his head into his locker. 'And it had started so great! I had woken up, seen an awesome sunrise, gotten a gift from Vlad, had an amazing breakfast, my hair was actually doing what I wanted it to do for once and I had been having fun with my friends! But no, this little shithead has to go and be like 'nope, I'm gonna be a dick early in the morning.' Fuck my fucking life.'

"What's- Great Caesar's ghost! Two Daniels?" the teacher said before realizing that Dani was a girl. He shook his head. "What's going on here?"

Before the halfas or their friends could say anything the jock spoke up. "Danny threatened me!"

"What!?" the five friends said at the same time.

"I didn't threaten him." Danny protested.

"Yes you did! Your eyes were glowing! Doesn't that only happen whenever you're angry and looking for a fight!?" Dash accused

The older teen was taken aback. 'Is he really trying to use my ghost powers against me?!' he felt like he had been punched in the gut. "I am not some hostile animal! My eyes-"

"Daniel that's enough. Since it's the first day I'll let you off with a warning but I better not hear about stuff like this happening again," the teacher said walking off. "And I better not hear that any of you were late for class."

"You're right Fagton; it is our senior year, which means that this might be the last year that I get to mess with you. I better make it count." The bully said to him before 'accidently' shouldering him into his locker and walking off as well.

The halfa looked over at his friends who looked as angry and shocked as he felt.

'I'm not some hostile animal who just bares it's fangs before attacking. And I can't control my eyes any more than I can control my heartbeat. Relax, smile, breath, don't cry.' "Well that happened." He said smiling and laughing a bit.

"Danny are you okay?" Danielle asked worried.

She had only ever seen Dash a few times from afar, and I few times when the bully had picked on him, but all that had been outside of school, where he could defend himself. She expected her brother to stand up to the bully like that time at Nasty Burger, but inside of school her brother was powerless. And both the male halfa and the bully knew it.

"I'm fine, you know me." Her brother said

"Why did you let him say all that to you? You've always stood up to him before." Dani asked.

"Rules, sis, rules. But don't worry, if he ever messes with you I'll kick his ass, you can count on that."

"I can't believe that he used the eye thing against you. That was a dirty trick, you can't control that." Val said crossing her arms, still pissed.

"Forget about it, c'mon we have to show Dani where her first class is!" he announced smiling, his sister's first class was English, the class was located near the end of the school.

"You gonna be okay?" Danny asked for about the third time since they arrived at the classroom.

"I'll be fine!" his sister replied laughing "I'll just follow where the rest of the class goes and hope that I get to the right place."

He laughed. "Great strategy, well we're off."

"Kay, see you guys at lunch." Dani said nearly vibrating with excitement.

"Bye Dani with an 'i'." Tucker said giving her a fist bump.

"See you later." Sam said.

Valerie gave her a peck on the cheek. "Farewell ice princess."

"Go already." The ghost girl said laughing.

"What? We're trying to embarrass you if you haven't noticed." The huntress said mater of factly.

They left after saying goodbye one last time. "What's our first class again?" the halfa asked his friends.

"Trigonometry." The techno geek answered.

"Nooo," his friend groaned dramatically "My brain is still asleep. Sam do you have any more coffee?"

"Nope, finished it like half an hour ago. Sorry Danny." The goth said shrugging apologetically.

"Ugh!" he groaned dramatically before doing his best zombie moves.

"I could shoot you in the foot, that might wake you up." The huntress offered.

"Fuck no!" The halfa said laughing. "But offer me that again after trigonometry."

They got class a full minute before the bell rang and were able to get a seat all together in the back of the class; the halfa was able to snag the window seat, score! The teacher, Mr. Richards didn't give class so much as introductions and the class rules. The halfa practically fell asleep with his eyes open. Soon enough that class was over and the next two, biology and health blurred past. The only morning class that he didn't share with his friends was history.

He had a love/hate relationship with the subject. On one hand he absolutely loved learning about medieval times, Egypt and things like that; on the other hand he couldn't remember dates to save his life. He walked into the classroom and sat in the first row, once again next to the window; he pulled out his notebook and started doodling as he waited for the teacher to start class.

Now I can't say that these next few chapters will be very exciting but all of the stupid details that I include here is for a reason
Also I'm lazy as fuck when it comes to transitions ;-; But if there is some kind of time skip I will say so at the beginning in the notes. And nothing super mega important will happen during these skips. I only write about the dramatic parts XD
