it was late. like around midnight late. I couldn't go to sleep. I guess my dad phineas couldnt either because he came down stairs. "hey marie" he said and sat on the bed. "hey da-i mean phineas. why are you still up?"I said almost saying dad. really marie. then phineas said "well I couldnt sleep. I am still curious, how can you invent?" I turned sad and tried not to cry. then I said "my dad". phineas looked at me and said "your dad. he taught you." I started to cry. oh god stop it marie. then I said "um...my dad. he is an inventor. he loves to invent. it passed down to me. he taught me how to use certain tools for certain things. soon my cousin tommy and I would invent and build things together." then phineas hugged me. I guess he senced my saddness exactly what dad would have done. "thanks phineas. I needed that" I said wiping my tears. then my watch started to beep. it was tommy. he is calling me. I guess uncle ferb made the watches conected for easy call between us. I told phineas goodnight and went to the backyard. uncle ferb came outside. I answered the call. I saw toommy and jazz. I started to tear up again. "tommy! jazz! its so great to see you!" then tommy said "marie! your alright. uncle phin is trying to finish the time machine.  dont worry alright." oh if only tommy were here right next to me I would hug him. then jazz said "marie dont panic we'll see each other again" then the call was cut off. I sat on the ground. perry #2 came and sat next to me. uncle ferb saw the call. he also sat next to me. then I said "oh uncle ferb I'm not getting out of here any time soon". then I felt a hot tear roll down my cheek. uncle ferb looked at me and said "marie your gonna go home dont worry. im sure they are doing thier very best to get you back home. untill then can I ask you something?" I looked at him strangley and said "sure". then he said "who was that. the 2 kids." I giggled. then I said "well the girl is jasmin. we usually call her jazz. her dad is baljeet.  and that boy is thomas. tommy for short. hes my cousin."

thomas was in the backyard with jasmin. thomas had an idea. if he could call marie maybe he could transport himself to where she is and he could transport them back to thier time. ferb frequently checked on them so they had to be care full. when they finished they called marie again. when ferb came back outside he saw jasmin and thomas disapear. he told the others. vanessa fainted and baljeet started to hyperventilate.  now they had to build a time machine alot more powerful.
