Twelve layers, a couple hours, a few YouTube Photoshop tutorials, and a lot of discarded rough drafts later, I finally completed the cover! It took me a surprisingly little amount of time to make, considering how complicated 3D text is. Don't even get me started on how long it took me to figure out what the infinite light is used for... 

You know what? For those people out there who don't appreciate how complicated Photoshop is, here's a little screenshot for you to give you a taste of what us designers have to deal with when we want to use 3D text:

The first few times I attempted to use 3D text, I was so intimidated by the 3D workspace that I backed lol, but I finally managed to overcome that fear to make this cover! (or, more accurately, became proficient enough at Photoshop in order to be capable of making this) Welp, third time's the charm I suppose.

This was also the first time I did a title-based cover. I usually don't make those out of preference for other types but it was pretty fun to create this one, and it turned out fairly well if I do say so myself. 

Ooh, and I only used one photo for making this cover! The rest I did by myself, including the fog and the light. Here's the photo I used:

Took me a lot of scrolling through Pixabay to find it lol, but it was worth it.
