Mackenzie's POV
           We ran as fast as humanly possible, trying to get away from the vicious bear chasing us. Maddie was running by my side, holding my hand to pull me along at her pace. She was a lot faster than was. I took a glance over my shoulder to see the bear, and it was roughly 8 yards away from Maddie and I. "Run, Maddie! Run, Kenzie!" Brooke shouted. "Brookie, help!" I screamed. Brooke stopped running. "Brooke, no! Keep going! Don't stop! You'll die!" Paige called, close to tears. Brooke ignored her sister. "C'mon!" She said to Maddie and I when we caught up. Brooke grabbed my hand and yanked Maddie and I forward. We soon caught up to the rest of the girls.
            Nia, being the most athletic, was in front. She stopped short, and so did all of us. We had stopped at the cliff.
