Part 2
*Bart's POV*
I woke up with a yawn, stretching my arms over my head. Today would be an amazingly crash day, especially if I found Frost. Jay? Meh, same person.
She seemed to be the only one I could remember, which was strange. She wasn't my only friend.... Was she? Gee, I hope not. Although she was kinda pretty....
Who is Jay? I barely know myself. But she was blonde. Not bright blonde, more of a golden blonde. And she had these bright blue eyes that sparkled with her faint smiles. Kind, soft, and faint smiles. Like the memories I could barley grasp of her.
I shook out of my daze, the green liquid flying from my hair. Green liquid? So I wasn't in the shower with my clothes on....
Looking up, I saw a tall, pale gray cavern wall. The gray, stony appearance made me feel trapped, cornered. And I did not like that feeling. And being cornered was not going to help me find Jay.
After a few moments, I felt this weird flare of pain in my wrist, and I jumped back in surprise. Did I break it? I don't think I did....
The pain soon faded, and only brought pain to the back of my head. I let out a yelp, immediately slapping my hands over my mouth. Why do I feel as if my head was being smashed off a brick wall?
The last bit of pain was enough to blacken my vision as I wandered around the cavern blindly. I had no idea what was going on with me right now, but I didn't like it. I mean, what the heck was that? Not crash, brain. Not crash at all. At the moment, I was seriously feeling the mode.
A man in a yellow Flash suit walked in, a body over his shoulders. Golden blonde hair, bloodied skin.
"Is that Jay?!" I yelp, jumping I surprise.
"Yes, Jay is Tigress, Bart." The yellow suited man replied curtly, lying her on the ground. "Now sit down quietly so I can go get Thad."
I obeyed, sitting down as quietly as I could, my fingers drumming against my thighs impatiently. I then realized he left, and crawled my way across the stone floor to the dead girl.
I then take a small glance at the green liquid pool. Maybe that can clean her up, so she can have a proper burial. I don't want Jay buried under stone floor, or decomposed.
So I took her limp, cold hands in my own, crawling backwards on my elbows and knees to drag her to the green pool. After a few moments, I fell into the pool, dragging her in after me. I lost grip of her, and I opened my eyes behind my goggles. She... Was gone. But not for long, I hope.
I felt hands grasp around my waist, and I looked down. Black gloved hands were clamped together, tugging me up strongly as I was whirled onto the stone beside the pool. A golden blonde girl with bright blue eyes behind the orange Tigress mask. Her eyes glittered with worry.
"Are you okay, Bart?" She whispered, looking down at me. And then I instantly knew who she was, Jay.
"I'm fine." I reply, wrapping my arms around her in an extremely tight hug.
"So you do remember." Jay laughed lightly, taking the mask off her face. The small white scar on her cheek was slightly darker, a small, faint smile on her face.
"Yeah, best friends forever!" I grin, and then the happiness from her face fell. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She replied, standing. "I just gotta do what I did last time."
