" I am ready, let's go " Alaia said, after she came out after changing.

Woah! I thought girls take at least 2 hours to get ready but she was literally ready in ten minutes.

I turned around and stiffened. Breathing out slowly, I literally gawked at her, scanning her from top to toe.

Her outfit was a white sheer top paired with maroon mini skirt and hair in a ponytail without an ounce of makeup.

Aww she's looking so cute.......

God, how will I control myself? Wait, all the men out there are going to gawk at her as if she's some kind of meat.

" You're looking beautiful, Alaia " Nick complemented with a smug look and I shot him a glare.

" Thank you " she said with a small smile

" OK so all are ready. Let's go " Macey exclaimed, gaining everyone's attention.

Alaia walked near the wall and took out a bunch of keys from the key holder.

" Candy here are the keys. Lock the door. " Alaia said, tossing him a set of keys and he caught them in his hands.

Oh, so his name is......Candy? OK that is weird. Maybe a nickname. But why the hell will she give him a nickname!?

" OK cupcake" he replied back with a smile and my eyes widened.

What the fuck!  He is calling her cupcake..... Seriously? I clenched my fists and pressed my lips together.

" Uh....sorry, I didn't meet you earlier. Myself Nick Peterson " Nick said extending his hand for a handshake to that piece of rubber.

" Maxwell shepherd " he said, shaking his hands with him.

Oh, he does has a name.

So why is she calling him candy? Does she likes him, Or he does? No! No! No! Alaia doesn't likes him because she herself said that she is not interested in anyone but what about that piece of rubber?

OK I admit, I am jealous right now. Burning in jealousy, to be more precise.

" You guys can go together and I will come later. I need to go somewhere " Alaia mumbled playing with her car keys

" Where? " Macey asked and Alaia shot her a glare but her eyes softened.

" I will come. I promise, I will. " she said, softly.

" We will follow you where ever you go. " Alaia groaned.

" OK fine but I am not sharing my car with anyone. I will go alone, just follow me if you want " she said, with a grumpy look and left.

We literally had to run to catch up with her.

So there were 2 cars going. One fully occupied by Alaia and in the second one it was me, nick, Macy and that piece of rubber.

Oops sorry....Maxwell.

" Do you have any idea where is she going? " Nick asked and we all just shrugged. It was me who was driving.

I looked ahead, particularly at her car.

After 10 minutes her car stopped at an entrance. To my surprise, it was an orphanage.

" but what will she do here? " Nick asked as if reading my thoughts.

" She has always been like this, helping others and as much as I know her, she always donates in orphanages and NGOs." Maxwell said and a smile found its way to my lips, my respect for her raised to new heights.

We all came out of the car and looked ahead. She came out of the car with two boxes in her hands and I looked at her confused.

When did she kept those?

We all followed her and I increased my pace to catch up and help her out with the boxes.

I stopped in front of her to get the boxes but she just ignored me and walked past me. I signed.

It is going to be a long day.....

" Hello Mrs Shirley, I hope you're doing good " Alaia greeted a lady in her early sixties.

" Oh Alaia dear! So good to see you again " she side hugged her and took one of the box from her.

" How are they doing?"

" They all are good. Just ray is sad because his favorite Aly didn't came to meet him "

" Where is he? I am sure he is going to forgive me right now, because I got it how to impress my prince " She said with a small smile.

My face fell and I frowned. I hope it's a child or I can assure that man will be admitted in ICU tonight.

They both walked inside and we all followed them. What I saw inside, amused all of us I think. She was doing sit-ups holding her ears with puppy eyes.

There was a cute little boy of age around 9 sitting on a couch with an adorable pout on his face.

" Please ray...." she made a puppy face.

Awwwwwwww! Even I melted here.

" OK fine. I forgive you but next time do come to meet me " he said and smiled brightly.

" Promise " she pinched her neck and that boy ran to hug her.

Alaia smiled and opened her arms while he hugged her tightly.

" I missed you so much " he said, clinging upon her.

" and I missed you too " she mumbled holding him close.

Macey cleared her throat and they both separated from the hug and looked at us.

" Who are they, Aly? " that little guy asked.

Alaia looked at us and then at him, with a small smile.

" Wait I will introduce you to them. They all are your friends. See, he is Nick, he is Max, she is Macy and...he is Ashton. And everyone he is ray. "

Ray came forward and and hugged everyone of us.

My heart warmed seeing his cute little gestures, I smiled and hugged him back.

He went running back to Alaia after greeting all of us.

" OK since I was not able to meet you on Sunday's. Take this as my sorry " she said and forwarded a pack of Hershey's kisses.

" Yay! It's my favorite " he hooted and jumped up, kissing her cheeks.

I frowned a little.

" Ray would you like to come amusement park with us? I promise you will have fun " Macy asked from behind and looked at us for conformation to which we happily obliged.

" Really Aly? " He said with twinkling eyes.

" Yes, please come with us " Alaia said and ray smiled brightly, nodding his head in yes.

" Great then! I will be back with permission of Mrs Shirley " she said and kissed him on his cheeks, walking away to the old lady.

" Come on ray. We got the permission, let's go " she said and he jumped in joy.

My heart was filled with happiness today, seems like after a very long time I will enjoy.

We reached amusement park and Ray was literally jumping with excitement. So the first ride was roller coaster.

I looked at the elevated railway in front of me and gulped slightly.
Uh....should I say that I am kind of scared?

OK fine, I admit that I am afraid/ petrified of roller coaster rides but Alaia will think of me as a loser!?

" So it's rollercoaster first " Macey said excitedly, almost jumping up.

" You guys go. I won't because ray will be alone then, he can't take a ride as the minimum age is 10 for that " Alaia said and they nodded, understandingly.

Heck, even I won't go. Well let's just say that it's also the fear and I would get to spend some time with her.

" Aly please let's play that game. " he said and she looked at the stall he was pointing at.

She smiled and nodded, ray jumped up and started walking towards the stall.

" Alaia " I called out but she ignored.

" Alaia " ignored.

" Alaia" ignored.

" Alaia! " this time she turned and looked at me with blank face.

" Yes. Can I help you?" she asked and I nodded, walking faster to catch up with them.

I picked up Ray in my arms and he squealed, laughing happily making me giggle slightly. I looked at her who walked ahead without any reaction.

We walked towards the stall, the one ray was pointing at. Oh, it was passing the hoop.

" Hello mam....Hello sir" The shopkeeper greeted us and bowed down.

"You will get 3 hoops for one gift, you have to aim it for the one you like the most. You can see and choose the right one " the shopkeeper explained and handed her all the three hoops.

I frowned and snatched it from her hands while she glared at me.

" So ray, what do you want? " I asked, narrowed eyes, aiming at the gifts in front of me.

" Uh....that panda " he said cheekily.

Wow, that was a giant panda!

" for that you need to aim for that Small box kept in front of it " the shopkeeper told us.

Shifting back from my position slightly, I narrowed my eyes and aimed at that box and boom........

It got missed.

Shit, I cursed myself inwardly, I can't make fool of myself.

Come-on Ashton, you can do it!

I aimed for it second time but lost that too, Ray was looking at that panda disappointed.

Alaia snatched that last loop from my hand before I could even protest, she aimed at that box.

What the fuck!

She did it in one chance.

My jaw might have touched the ground by now, she genuinely left me speechless.

" Yay " Ray hooted and hugged her.

" Congratulations young lady, this panda is all yours now. " he gave that giant panda to Alaia and she gave it to ray.

I smiled at his tries to keep up with it, the soft toy was bigger than himself.

" Thank you, Aly. I love you so much " he said and kissed her cheeks and for the first time today I saw her smiling genuinely.

" Wow! Who won it? " a voice piped in from behind, I turned around and saw all of them looking at us curiously.

" Aly won it for me. Well even Ashton tried but failed miserably " Ray said, making faces.

Nick burst out laughing, even Macey and Maxwell joined him.

" As always! " Nick said between his fits of laughter and I frowned slightly.

Is Nick really my best friend?

" Come on guys " I groaned, pouting a bit.

There were some group of teenagers who bumped into Alaia who was about to fall but steadied herself.

" I am sorry " Alaia apologized.

But it wasn't even her fault!

" No we are sorry. Actually we were so drowned in talks that we didn't even realised and bumped into you " a boy from the group said with an apologetic look.

" It's ok"

Maybe that's who she is. My lips curved up into a smile, her every shade can surprise you, with us she might turn cold but her humbleness will never leave her.

She walked near ray and held his hands. They walked away while I excused myself to attend the call.

" Hello.... Yes, is it done? "

" Yes sir. I did what you said. "

It was evening by now, this place looked even more mesmerizing during night time.

I heard someone gasp behind me, it was Macey. Seems like my plan will work, I just hope it does.

I turned around and looked at the direction they were looking at. A smile creeped upon my lips and I breathed out slowly.

Wow, he really did a good job.

That Ferris wheel was glowing beautifully but with craved letters on it. ' I AM SORRY ALAIA'

A sudden pull caught me off guard, I turned around and saw Alaia looking at me with anger filled eyes.

" What the hell do you think you're doing? " Alaia asked, fuming in anger.

" I am really sorry, Alaia. Please forgive me. Please. . ." I pleaded and she took a deep breath to calm herself.

My heart thudded getting no response from her.

" I was wrong. I know, I was. My anger overpowered my thoughts but that does not justifies my words I said to you. I am ashamed. I respect you, Alaia and I am guilty. This guilt is killing me. " I said, almost in tears. My heart beat at an abnormal pace, I felt Alaia's eyes soften a little.

" OK fine, I forgive you. But next time don't you dare repeat this mistake, my self respect is my everything " she said and a full blown smile appeared on my lips.

" but it was really such an unique way to ask forgiveness " Ray said in between and I smiled.

" I agree. I didn't knew my best friend had brain to think so much " Nick said all burst out laughing.

But instead of being annoyed, I enjoyed it because as always Alaia didn't express her emotions but there was a small smile on her face.

It was similar as winning a war to me, she atleast started responding to some emotions. My smile grew wider.

" Now let's go home. We have to drop ray-" she started but I voiced my thoughts that was disturbing me.

" Will you join Johnson's corporations again? " I asked with hope.

She was silent for a minute, my heart thudded.

" OK fine. " she said my happiness had no bound. I almost jumped up in excitement while everyone looked at me amused.

" Thank you " I whispered, feeling overwhelmed with the swirl of emotions.

Everyone there had a smile on their faces. When we went back home, Alaia dropped ray first.

I got to know that Maxwell and Macey are here for few days and best friends of Alaia since childhood. Macey also told me about that photograph I was seeing, of those 4 teenagers.

I had recognised Alaia but failed to recognize them. It was macy and Maxwell in that picture, well I don't know who's that fourth one but....yeah.

Tonight was a day when after a long time I slept happily and peacefully, seeing her beautiful smile made my night. After all I got forgiveness from her.
