Chapter 2
Owen Blackbourne stood outside the house that he and his brothers and just bought. It was small, but had four bedrooms. "The couch folds out," Sean said as he unlocked the door. "North or Silas could take that and the rest of us will just have to share a room."
Owen nodded as he entered the house, turning on the air as he passed it control. Taking in the living room, he turned and watched as his eight brothers entered behind him. For the past five and half years, they had been living a lie. And the worst part of it was that Erica, Jessica, Dr. Roberts, and Uncle knew and didn't tell them.
"We didn't want to hinder any progress you would have made on your own if we told you the truth." That had been the reason stated for why no one had told them about the woman they had all loved... that they still loved.
Owen watched as they all settled in around the living room, each looking at him, waiting. "Victor has officially taken us off the Academy grid. As of noon yesterday, the Blackbourne team disappeared an hour outside of Charleston. No one that has any ties with us knows that we're in Wyoming.
"Tomorrow, Gabriel and Kota are going a couple of towns over and buying everyone a new phone. Victor will be setting up his system to help us try to find a lead on Sang." While he spoke, Sean moved towards the window, a flash of maroon catching his attention.
He watched as a medium sized jeep pulled into the driveway directly across the road from them. The backdoor opened and three children hopped out. He held his breath as one of the boys turned and walked around to the back, opening it and grabbing three book bags out before closing it.
Looking harder, Sean noted that the book bags had two letter stitched into them. W. T, E. T, and S. G. He continued to watch as the kids entered the small fenced in yard and walked towards the front door. There was something about those two boys that was nagging at his mind, but he couldn't put a finger on it. Shaking his head, he knew that it would come to him eventually.
A flash of blonde hair had Sean's heart racing. His eyes snapped back towards the car and he watched as a small woman, shut her door and jog towards the house. The front door opened and all four of them disappeared inside. "Victor," Sean said as he slowly turned away. "I need you to do a search of our neighbors." Victor didn't say anything as he nodded. They were all willing to do anything to find the woman that held their hearts. It was time for them to find their missing piece.

Three days had passed since my run in with Raven at the park and I will admit that I was still pretty jumpy. So when I pulled into my driveway, after spending the day at the zoo, and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, I knew I was being watched.
Keeping my face neutral, I slipped out of the car and told Weston to get his brother and sister into the house quickly. Locking the car, I slowly followed them, letting my eyes scan around. Once I was in the house, I began to peek out around the edges of the blinds, searching for anything different.
The only thing that stood out to me, were the three cars and motorcycle parked across the street. The for sale sign was missing from the yard. We finally have neighbors. The thought flitted across my mind before it was replaced. We wouldn't be around long enough to make friends. I had finally made arrangements for the house being put on the market next week. And then, the four of us would be gone.
Laughter drifted down the hallway and I smiled. Just as I about to head into the kitchen to start lunch, my eyes landed on the motorcycle. My mind went blank as I stared. It was a custom job, I knew. But what held my attention was the jet black compass rose that was painted on the middle of the tank. Ice ran through my veins as my eyes snapped towards the top of it, where a star sat where the N for north should have been.
It wasn't possible, I thought as I jerked away from the window. But I knew that my eyes weren't deceiving me. At least I hope that they weren't. I knew that bike just as well as I knew the man that made it with his hands.
It was a struggle to keep my face calm as I made my way down the hallway to the playroom where my kids were. Peeking my head around the doorframe, I laughed as I watched Seren tackled Weston, pinning him to the floor. "Victory!" She yelled as she smiled down at him before Easton snuck up behind her.
Before he could tackle her, she spun around and he froze. With a yell that would rival a Viking's battle cry, I watched as my little angel lunged towards her brother, taking him down hard. "Uncle! Uncle!," Easton cried as he tapped the floor.
Seren just flashed her brightest smile at him before hopping up and making her way towards her corner. As she took her seat, she looked at her brothers. "I won," she stated a bit smugly. "So we are watching my movies."
My boys let out groans but didn't argue with her. I was proud of them as I watched them settle down beside their sister, one on each side. Seren quickly hit play while Weston turned the light off. Easton was quick to pull their blanket over the three of them while they all leaned against each other.
Not even five minutes into Beauty and The Beast and all three were out like a light. Smiling, I leave the door cracked open and made my way to my bed where I was quick to curl up under a light blanket that Gabriel had bought me and drifted to sleep.
