You act like you bear,
The world on your back.
Yet you only carry,
A fraction of what other bear.

You act like you bear,
The sun in your heart.
And you say,
It's burning you,
Reminding you,
Of the burden you bear.

You act like you bear,
The ocean in your arms.
Like you try to carry,
The entire weight.
Yet it keeps slipping,
Straight through your fingers.

You act like you bear,
A storm in your mind.
Flashing at the hardships,
And problems you've suffered.

You act like you bear,
A crown on your head.
One that's too heavy,
And with the slightest movement,
Would break your neck.

You act like you know,
The pains in my heart.
The sufferings I've been through,
Because of your past.

And yet when I tell you,
That it isn't fair,
You say I could never know .
The pains that you bear.

I pray to God,
That I may never know,
How it is to be you,
Or what the world,
May be to you.
