I'm Riley, and I seem like an average teenage girl on the outside. I have straight, shoulder length, brown hair, "emo" as most people call it, fringed bangs, a black undershirt with a red plaid short-sleeved button up shirt unbuttoned on top. I wear grey skinny jeans, I always have headphones around my neck, and black converse boots. I'm 16 years old, and my life's falling apart. It all started a few months ago.
I was walking down the street, and this guy came out of nowhere and started trying to grab me. I tried to run, but he followed me. The guy tackled me, and before I knew what I was doing, I wrapped my headphone cord around his neck and pulled it tight. A look of pure shock, then terror filled his eyes. He struggled for a while, but I never loosened the cord. I held the cord tight long after he went still, stunned about what I had done. After the situation sunk in, I ran off, enjoying the rush I felt.
