LEO POV:

You know, Leo would've been happier if Annabeth hadn't come back from Tatarus with a giant, a titan, a very loud kitten, and no Percy.Once they all reached the surface again though, it kind of broke his heart  see how they cried over the loss of Percy and how beautiful the stars were.  It was sad how heartbroken they all were. percy was a brother to them...

Leo was distracted from his thoughts when an iris message appeared in front of them. It was Percy. He was leaning against the doors of death. Riptide was next to him on the ground and his eyes were unfocused. "Annabeth?" he asked. "Leo, can you get Annabeth please?"

"Um, yeah. Yeah, ok. I'll be right back."He replied.

2 minutes later, he was back with Annabeth and Bob. "Percy? What happened?"She asked, worried.

"Well, I defeated most of Gaia's army. She won't be to happy about that. Some of them got me pretty badly, though. Sorry about that." He replied, oddly calm.

"No! Percy, it's fine. You did great."Annabeth sobbed.

"I am sorry friend. Bob should have kept you safe. Bob should have protected you." Bob said, referring to himself in the third person.

"No, I'm the one who should be apologising" Percy said. "I'm sorry Annabeth. there's do many things I wanted you to see, but now I can't show you them. SO many things I wanted to say, but I won't get the chance to now. And here I am, saying the one word I hoped to never say to you. Goodbye. Annabeth...  Wise Girl... Goodbye. "

With those words, he closed his eyes and the iris message dissolved into mist. Annabeth was crying. Percy was gone. Everything was NOT going to plan.
