So I have two ideas, both involving a friend group.

The first idea was inspired by Midsommar and the music above.

So there's this group of male friends who are apart of this pagan/Wicca type cult. Each of them have a plant based power and theme based on a specific type of flower. The first three have fairly normal powers and flowers, the last one however was given thorns and vines instead of a flower. So he has flowers grow on his vines so nobody calls him out on his bs. The festival of flowers and purity comes around and they need a virgin boy as the festivals king. So the male with thorns and vines uses his dark powers to manipulate the cult into killing the friend group and kills one of the friends himself, to become king.

The other friend group is similar but different. There are these close friends who have been with each other for years. Shit was fine until one of guys fucked up and accidentally killed someone. He ended up running away and went missing. Years later, one of the friends gets an email and takes a survey. The survey gets weirder and more personal and basically tries to convince this guy that someone is in his house. The survey was made by the dude who went missing and he's trying to get his bestie to forgive him, but this other friend keeps telling him that he shouldn't forgive the dude for what he did.
