XXVII
"Friday?" George frowned.
Ryan nodded as he tucked his shirt into his pants.
"Why so soon? I thought these things took time?"
Ryan laughed quietly to himself.
"Yeah, they do. Issues with Genocide exceed the lives of many of us. It's like a generational turf war."
Ryan turned to George and held his shoulders and he bent forward to make eye contact with the alpha.
"The king is moving in with the emperor, so we've got no time to waste while their consorts are in safe captivity."
George blinked.
"Huh?"
Ryan grinned.
"That means it's go-time, baby."

Jimin reached behind him and patted Serein's bottom to quiet his whines and groans. Once Serein went quiet Jimin continued taping the box full of Serein's things closed.
"Nini, am I gonna have to change schools?"
"I don't know," Jimin exhaled as he moved onto the next box without looking up at his son.
"Ask your father, Bear."
"But he's been on the phone all day. He hasn't even left his office."
Jimin paused.
"Has he packed anything?"
Prince shrugged.
"The stuff in his office, yeah."
"None of the stuff in our room? Or the gym? Or anything else at all?"
Prince shook his head.
Jimin's fingers drummed against the box he just finished. He kept himself from growing agitated or pissed off because his mood heavily affects his baby. Especially in recent times, Serein has grown extremely sensitive to Jimin's emotions.
Jungkook had left his gun out and Jimin was extremely pissed off. Even if it was far away from where the kids could get to it, it still pissed him off. Serein, somehow from all the way in the nursery, felt this emotion radiating off his father. It took half an hour to calm the baby down because Jimin continued to be upset with Jungkook for half an hour.
Jimin thought about all of this as he traveled down stairs and opened the door to his husband's office. Jungkook looked up from where he was writing something down with the handset against his ear.
Jimin stared at him from the doorway as he patted his pup's bottom to keep him calm.
"Yeah... yeah, okay. Perfect. Thank you."
Jungkook hung up the phone and sat up to look at Jimin.
"What's up?"
"You haven't packed?"
"I have. There's a box-"
"I mean everything else. You haven't left this room?"
Jungkook bit his lip as their pup began to whine. He sighed. He pushed himself away from his desk and walked over to Jimin, whose eyes followed him as he traveled.
He stood in front of Jimin and held his shoulders.
"You're upset."
"I'm not upset."
"You're upset."
"What makes you think I'm upset?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.
"Well one, you're responding like that."
Jimin clicked his tongue.
"And two, because Serein is getting fussy."
Jimin tried to stop Jungkook from taking Serein out of the sling on his back, but Jungkook was already holding his whiny pup and frowning at Jimin as he bounced their baby.
"He's just tired."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow and lifted his baby over his face. Serein's legs scrunched up as did his arms but his frown started to fade. Jungkook turned his head to see Jimin looking at them with a small smile.
"Tired, mhm."
Jimin rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. Jungkook brought Serein's chubby cheeks towards his lips and covered it with kisses. He cradled the pup to his chest and pulled Jimin closer to him by his waist and covered his cheek in kisses like he did their son.
"I know I haven't been the best husband as of recent times," Jungkook mumbled against Jimin's cheek.
Jimin turned his head to look at him with a frown and opened his mouth to speak but Jungkook interrupted him.
"And I know I've been upsetting you a lot. I hope you know I'm not trying to."
Jimin placed his left hand on Jungkook's chest, his wedding and engagement ring looking as bright as the day he first put them on.
"Honey."
"Life has been stressful and been a horrible mess but I promise after this, after we finish this mission, we'll go on a trip. All of us."
"All of us?" Jimin smiled up at Jungkook.
"You, me, our babies, our parents, our brothers, our niece. All of us."
Jimin leaned up and gently kissed Jungkook's lips.
"I'm sorry for being such a pain during all of this. I should've just been supporting you instead of stressing you out more when you get home."
Jungkook laughed and squeezed Jimin's waist.
"It's the hormones," Jimin sighed as he rubbed his gurgling baby's back.
"Mm, I don't think you can blame that on the hormones."
"Hey," Jimin squinted at his husband and Jungkook laughed before pecking Jimin's temple.
Jungkook bent forward and repeatedly kissed his omega's lips and Jimin hummed against him.
"You want me to forget about the fact you haven't packed, huh?"
Jungkook kissed him again.
"Is it working?"
Jimin laughed.
"Only if I get to hold you tonight."
"Deal," Jungkook grinned.
Jimin took Serein and smoothed down the baby's crazy hair.
"I'm so merciful, I'm not making you pack," Jimin grinned cheekily as he cuddled his baby closer.
"Oh how merciful, your majesty," Jungkook bowed.
Jimin rolled his eyes with a smile before leaving Jungkook in his study.
He walked by Prince's room on his way to their bedroom and stopped outside the cracked door when he heard whispering.
He normally doesn't eavesdrop but he heard a sniffle and his paternal instincts went haywire.
"Come on, don't cry."
"I'm not sad, Yuta. I'm actually really happyl."
"Why? Well, I mean, that's fantastic. But what happened?"
Prince let out a watered down giggle.
"My parents were talking. They were being close and kissing. They weren't yelling or mad at each other. They never used to argue like this until the idea of Serein popped into Nini's head."
Yuta hummed.
"Don't get me wrong. I love my brother but my parents would only bicker, they never yelled at each other like they have been recently until him. So, seeing them so passive and loving is the best thing I could've seen all day. I missed being able to gag when they kissed, because they don't even kiss anymore. I was beginning to worry that they didn't love each other anymore."
Jimin covered his mouth and walked past his son's room quickly. He gently shut the door to his bedroom and then walked over and placed his sleeping pup in his cot.
He sat in bed and fanned his watering eyes. He laid down and stared at the ceiling.
He never knew Prince could hear them.
He always tried to stay quiet with his frustration and annoyance towards his husband. Whenever they yelled at each other he was positive Prince was at home or on the other side of the house.
Were they that loud?
His parents used to argue like that when he was younger. Halo wanted Leo to leave the business since they had two young kids but Leo told him that this is his life now and he can't just leave.
He was only five years old, but he remembers the screaming fights they used to have. But he knows they love each other. They've come to terms with their futures now and deal with it fine.
He always promised himself if he ever had issues with his husband, his children wouldn't be burdened by it.
Now what? His son thought they didn't love each other anymore.
The bedroom door creaked open and then creaked shut. He continued to stare at the ceiling as he heard shuffling to the side of the bed before the left side of the bed dipped. He turned his head and looked at his husband who halted his movements. He smiled softly at his husband before getting under the comforter and cuddling up with his husband and kissing his cheek.
"What's up?"
"Bear heard us fighting."
Jungkook paused and pulled away.
"What?"
"I never knew we were loud enough for him to hear us. I always thought that- that-" Jimin's lips quivered and Jungkook rubbed his sides and released calling pheromones as a frown overtook his face.
"It's okay, shh shh, it's okay. We're okay, honey."
Jimin sighed.
"It's all my fault. He thought we didn't love each other anymore."
"No, honey. It was just your hormones. I'm not holding it against you so you shouldn't either."
Jimin sighed as he buried his face inside Jungkook's bare chest.
"I'll do better," Jimin mumbled.
Jungkook pecked Jimin's forehead and held him close to his body tightly.
"I will too."

"Welcome, my babies!" Halo shouted as he ran down the steps that lead to the door and ran to his sons.
He hugged them both tightly and kissed their cheeks. Jimin and Liz hugged and kissed him back. He picked up Rein who was running at him and kissed her cheek as she giggled.
He handed her back to Liz before kissing Prince's face.
"How are you?"
"I'm fine. How are you, Beauty?"
"Amazing now that I'll have all my babies here with me!"
Taehyung dropped Liz's huge suitcase in front of himself after pulling it out of the trunk.
"Tae~"
He looked up and smiled at Halo. Halo gave him a big hug and pecked his forehead.
"You don't call enough, you know," Halo frowned.
"Yeah, my bad. I've been busy with work."
"Bartending?" Halo tilted his head.
"No. Well, yes but my other two jobs too. I'm not just supporting myself any more. Got a husband and daughter too."
"Tae, you've married rich. Why not ask us for money? Or ask your brother or father to give you a position at their company?"
Taehyung shook his head.
"What if Liz gets mad at me and then they fire me?"
Halo giggled.
"Jungkook wouldn't fire you."
"And dad?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I could convince him otherwise."
Taehyung shook his head with a chuckle before walking towards the house with some of their luggage.
Halo walked around the side of the van and found Jungkook with his phone stuck behind his ear and shoulder as he rocked sideways with his baby in his arms.
"Uh, yeah, I told you this like fifty times... no I'm not exaggerating, you're just stupid... Yo-un I swear you-"
"Jungkook?"
Jungkook spun around and smiled at Halo before going back to hang up with Yo-un.
"Hey," Jungkook exhales as he adjusts Serein to rest on his left arm as he pocketed his phone with his right hand.
"Everything okay?"
"Huh? Oh the phone call! Yeah, yeah, everything's fine."
Halo hummed. He took Serein from his father, pecked Jungkook's cheek, smiled softly at him, and then walked towards the house with a gurgling Serein in his arms.
In the house the two omega siblings were arguing over which wing of the house they'd get.
"My old room is in the East wing!" Jimin yelled.
"So is mine! We lived across from each other!" Liz hissed.
"But I lived there first!" Jimin argued.
"I lived there longer!" Liz screamed.
"Hey!" Leo shouted with his hands on his hips.
"Rock-paper-scissors, otherwise I'll choose for you."
Jimin and Liz grumbled as they went through a few rounds of rock-paper-scissors before Jimin won and claimed his wing of the home gleefully.
The West Wing was still just as nice as the East wing, but the East wing had more memories.
Running through the house, knocking over vases, getting lectured by Halo and then punished by Leo when he got home and Halo told him everything.
Jimin was the devil and Liz was his demon accomplice.
Everyone began to move everything to their rooms and unpack. Downstairs Halo was preparing dinner gleefully.
No more dinners alone when Leo was out at work. He won't have to lock up the house and sleep in a cold bed now.
He hasn't been this happy and content in a while.
