George eyed Ryan as he landed blow after blow onto his punching bag.

"So, how long is this gonna take?"

Ryan stopped his movements and made eye contact with George.

"Days, weeks, months, years. Sometimes, you never know."

George bit his lip.

"How long has one been before?"

Ryan ripped his gloves off.

"Almost a year? Our leader went into a coma for about seven months, if I remember correctly."

George's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open slightly.

Ryan laughed at him.

"He's alright though, isn't he?"

George shrugged with a frown.

"I guess..."

Ryan knocked George's chin with his knuckles.

"You seem more worried than Jimin and he's the leader's husband," Ryan smirked to which George scowled back at him.

Meanwhile in the Jeon household Jimin was sitting across from Jungkook who stared at him. Jimin squinted at Jungkook, Serein in his arms drinking from a bottle calmly, while Jimin's legs were crossed and his foot was shaking impatiently.

"What?" Jungkook mumbled.

"Nothing."

"No, it's something."

Jimin squinted again and let his eyes drift to the bandages around Jungkook's fingers. Jungkook's eyes followed Jimin's and he sighed, as he stretched out his fingers.

"Work."

"Of course. I thought as much."

"We were setting up a few things and someone dropped and broke a camera and—"

"You don't have to explain yourself. I get it."

"Then what's with the... look?"

Jimin leaned back with a sigh.

"It's no fair you get to have all the fun while I'm left to take care of our beautiful children alone," Jimin sighed dramatically as he burped Serein.

Jungkook snorted as he sorted through papers.

"Also, I overheard you talking with Dad."

Jungkook's smirk dissipates and he slowly looks up at his husband.

"Yeah?"

"Something about..." Jimin sat Serein down on a neck pillow on the couch in Jungkook's office.

"Something about you selling the house and moving us in with them."

"Jimin I—"

"I told you we'd only ever do that... if either of them were to die," Jimin's eyes widened at the familiar word.

"I didn't say we were going to. I was telling him that's what we agreed if something goes wrong. I asked him to take you three in if it were me."

Jimin stepped around the desk and pulled Jungkook's chair out and stared down at him.

"No, actually, I'd prefer if we all moved in there. The house is huge. Whenever Dad is gone, Papa complains that it's too quiet and empty."

Jimin chuckled. "Though Dad says it's just as loud with only Papa at home."

"Besides," Jimin walked away from Jungkook and picked Serein up and rested the sleeping pup on his chest, "Liz, Prince, Papa, and I deserve some quality omega time."

Jimin turned around to look at his husband who was looking at him with his eyebrows raised.

"Since, of course, our alphas aren't spending quality time with us."

Jungkook straightened up in his seat.

"Hey! I've—" Jungkook's eyebrows creased.

"Our?" Jungkook stood up. "Prince too?"

Jimin grinned and shrugged his shoulders before walking towards the door.

"Hey! Honey! Hey!"

~

"Hello?" Leo grumbled after sliding up the call button.

"Dad?"

"Yes?"

"Are you free today?"

Leo paused as he looked down at Jimin's contact.

"Sort of. Why?"

"Let's go to the range together."

Leo laughed as he picked up his phone and pressed it to his ear.

"You haven't gone shooting with me since you were 19."

"Yeah well, I got pregnant and then ran away and since then I've had to be a father and a husband. There isn't exactly always time for father-son bonding."

Leo rolled his eyes.

"Just like your father, huh," he exhaled.

"But it's funny you say that because your father has agreed to go with me today as well."

Jimin released a squeak of surprise.

"Pa? Really?"

"Unbelievable, I know. So you can meet us there."

"Oh, it's still the same place?"

"Of course. Why wouldn't it be?"

Jimin hummed.

"Well, I assumed when you took care of the owner, the company would go under."

Leo chuckled as he made his way down stairs to where Halo was fixing his shirt by the door.

"Well, he could only afford the company with the help of my money. It only makes sense I'd take it once he... retired."

Jimin snorted on the other line.

"Of course. I'm getting ready to leave so I'll see you two at the range."

"See you there."

Leo pocketed his phone and walked over to Halo. He grabbed his jacket and stood behind Halo. He blew air next to Halo's ear. Halo gasped, spun around, and punched Leo in the chest.

"Ah," Leo rubbed where he was hit.

"What is wrong with you? Why would you do that?" Halo hissed as he held his hand over his racing heart.

Leo coughed as he tried to rearrange his organs back into place.

"My love, you still have the same right hook as when we were younger."

Halo rolled his eyes as he reached for his jacket. Leo pulled it away and instead held it out, signaling to his omega that he wants to put it on.

Halo clicked his tongue but held his arm out. Leo grinned and helped Halo into his jacket.

"You ready?"

Halo sighed but nodded.

"I guess so."

"Hey, we can do everything you wanted to do yesterday, today, afterwards."

Halo pouted and held out his pinky.

"Promise?"

Leo hooked his pinky around his husband's and slowly kissed his lips.

"Promise."

~

Halo stared at the gun in his hand and then up at his husband who was setting up the objects he was going to be shooting.

His hand shook slightly so he gripped the weapon tighter.

"You ready?"

Halo hesitantly nodded. Leo dragged Halo over to one of the stations and slid some glasses over his eyes and a pair of earmuffs around his neck. They felt a little heavy around his neck.

He took the gun from Halo and took the safety off before loading it. Halo watched his husband work as his hands slightly shook at his sides.

Leo stood behind Halo and helped him grip the gun. Then begin aiming.

"Pull your shoulders back and keep your arms strong. It'll have a strong recoil."

Halo nodded in understanding. Leo moved back slightly to pull the earmuffs up and over Halo's ears.

Halo wanted to ask where his alpha's protective gear was but he knew he didn't need it. This is a normal day for him.

His body was pressed against his husband's and he relaxed against him.

"Pull the trigger."

Halo pressed his finger down and he gasped at the way the gun threw him back. He didn't get far as Leo kept him steady but his hands lowered as his head spun.

"Halo!"

Halo looked up at Leo whose eyes were wide.

"You don't have to shoot anymore," Leo mumbled with a frown as he reached for the gun.

Halo gently pulled his arms away, aware how dangerous one rigid motion could be.

"No. No, it's okay."

He slid the earmuffs back on, held it up again and aimed for the head of the paper cut out. He took a deep breath and pulled the trigger again.

His body jerked slightly but he kept himself grounded. He lowered the gun and turned to Leo. He slid the earmuffs off and clicked his tongue.

"And you enjoy doing this?"

"I'm not as passive as you are, Love," Leo smiled.

In Halo's eyes, his husband looked sweet and gentle, so it's hard to believe some people cower at the sight of that smile.

"Put the safety back on," Halo pouted and pointed at the gun.

Leo nodded with a grin and turned the safety on and sat the gun down. He kissed his husband's forehead and rubbed his back.

"Dad!"

Leo turned around and Jimin came jogging towards them. Halo crossed his arms and raised his left eyebrow.

"And where is my grandbaby?"

"At home with your other grandbaby and son-in-law," Jimin grinned cheekily as got closer to peck his father on the cheek.

"Did you shoot?" he asked as he hugged his omega father tightly.

"Yes and I can't find the love you two have for it."

"We're not as passive as you are, Pa," Jimin pouted.

Halo looked at his husband who grinned proudly at Jimin and pinched his cheek.

"I'm going to go," Halo sighed.

"And do what?" Jimin and Leo said at the same time.

Halo shrugged with a frown.

"Find some passive people like me."

Halo spun around and as he walked off Leo slapped his butt. He yelped and swatted at his husband who laughed in response.

"Okay, gross," Jimin groaned.

Leo laughed as Halo disappeared. Leo handed a gun to Jimin and his eyes lit up as he loaded and cocked the gun.

"How's home been?"

Jimin rolls his eyes and swings the gun with one arm. A quick clean shot to the head.

Leo looked from the bullet hole in the silhouette, back to his son who lowered his gun with a grim look on his face.

"Fine," he landed another shot, the gun smoking in his grip, "I guess."

"What's wrong?"

Jimin opened his mouth.

"Other than we don't want to endanger you so we aren't telling you the plan about this ambush on Genocide," Leo mumbled as he released a few shots into a blood filled dummy.

"Nice shot," Jimin grumbled as he eyed his father.

"You know," Jimin fired three loud shots.

"I heard you on the phone with Jungkook."

Leo paused.

"Yeah? What'd you hear?"

Jimin lowered the gun and turned to his father who didn't make eye contact with him.

His father is a lot of things, but nervous and soft is not on that list. Unless of course you put the most important men in his life in front of him. Which is why, right now, he's weary of his son.

"Apparently something about selling the house and moving in with you guys."

Leo cleared his throat and looked to his son.

"No, well, you see, that wasn't actually—"

"It's fine."

Jimin fired off the rest of the rounds, the silhouette couldn't even be identified as a person any more.

"I was thinking of moving in with you guys anyway. You guys are getting old—"

"Hey!" Leo scowled.

"And Papa deserves someone at home."

Leo sighed and eyed his son as he reloaded his gun.

"Has he told you something?"

Jimin shook his head.

"I can just see it since I'm married now too. Plus," Jimin fired a few more shots before pushing his bangs out of his eyes and setting the gun down, "I remember my childhood."

Leo unloaded his gun and sat it down.

"Jimin—"

"I already talked to Liz and he agrees with me. We'll move in by next week. The house is so big you won't even know we're there. Well, you probably will, Liz is loud."

Leo laughed softly as Jimin came to stand in front of him.

"It'll all be okay."

Leo's eyes flickered from Jimin's left eye to his right. Eyes that mirrored his own looking back at him.

It felt like his son was reassuring him when as a father, he should be reassuring his son.

He nodded and hugged Jimin tightly who hugged him back.

It'll all be okay.
