It's the accidental killing of a child that he regretted and hated himself for.

⁶: Tony didn't want him to fight at first

⁷: as even though he is a skilled assassin,he didn't have something to keep him from getting hurt

⁸: he had tackled Bucky,about to rip the mask off when he was pushed,flying through the air

⁹: him making jokes about the fight when Bucky is normal

¹⁰:  he wanted to stay out of the fight in civil war

¹¹:  Tony was hurt

¹²: "he killed my parents!"

¹⁵: he had gone to the fight,but didn't take a side,defending both sides

"I'm not a kid!"
"Are you under the age of eighteen? You are  a kid ."

¹⁹: him and Bucky getting along because they understand doing something without wanting to do it
