𝓟𝓵𝓸𝓽:  Corbin Lazarus had used to be in love with Jeremy Gilbert.  And he had thought that Jeremy felt the same (or at least strongly liked,with the few dates they'd gone on). But,when the boy had started 'hang' around Vicki,the other new the truth.
At the beginning his relationship with Jeremy was great. Then,the boy's parents died. (Which he had tried to comfort the boy and also give him space)
Then he caught Jeremy making out with Vicki Donovan. So,he had broken up with him,saying both had deserved better. (As Corbin was speaking of Jeremy for himself,he was speaking of how Vicki definitely wasn't better)

Then Richard Salvatore happened.

³: had called Vicki a slut,apologizing to Matt. (Which no one knew if he was apologetic for calling Matt's sister a slut or for Matt having Vicki as a sister.

⁴:  Richard is a year older than Stefan

⁵:  Richard is close to both his brothers

⁶:  he had seen the way that Corbin glared at Tyler,Vicki and Jeremy

⁷:  Richard had seen Corbin before (because he used to date Jeremy)

⁸:  Richard threatened Damon to stay away from Corbin

⁹:   Richard had made a joke of him and Alaric having the same nickname. "I feel closer to you already,Ric."

¹⁰:  Richard gives Corbin a vervain bracelet

¹¹:     Corbin didn't believe that Richard liked him

¹²:  "you don't deserve to think that every time somebodies says that they care of you that they will leave you."

¹³:  After Vicki dies Jeremy went to Corbin

¹⁴:  "no! You can't just-just came back to me and make me feel like the bad guy when you left me!"

¹⁵: Corbin had been mad about that,and Richard threatened Jeremy

¹⁶:  "go near him again and I'll rip your head off."

¹⁷:    Corbin asked Richard to the bonfire. "So,there's this stupid thing about a bonfire...and I was wondering if you would like to go with me?"
"You asking me out?"

¹⁸:  Richard flirts with Corbin,but,Corbin never notices

¹⁹:  Elena doesn't like Richard. "You go near my brother-"
"And you'll what? Complain me to death? Tell Jeremy to say the hell away from Corbin if he doesn't want to be killed by another Salvatore."
