Percy's Point of view

Another week passed before the gods felt I was ready to visit my friends and family. I'm not sure why they waited so long to agree, I had control of my forms a couple weeks ago and I figured out teleporting last week but I am finally getting to see them again so |I guess I shouldn't complain. For some reason they were still sending Apollo with me even though I had everything under control. I guess it was just in case anything went wrong. But still I don't need a babysitter, and considering how Apollo is I don't know if he would have been the best choice if I did. The day of the visits Apollo and I teleported to Mom and Paul's apartment and I knocked on the door.

I really wasn't sure how they would react to the news that I am now a god, I guess that they would probably accept it since it had been the only way to prevent me from dying but still I'm not even sure how I feel about it yet. I mean it's kind of cool, but almost everyone treats me differently because of my new status. I guess I will just have to get used to it and hope that Mom and Paul don't treat me differently when I tell them. I will probably make that the last thing I tell them just in case.

Sally's point of view

Paul and I were sitting on the couch, Paul was flipping through the TV channels trying to find something to watch. I had a book on my lap but I wasn't really reading it, I was thinking about Percy. I knew he was okay, since he had Iris messaged us, but something seemed different about him and I got the feeling that he hadn't told us everything.

He had said he would visit soon, but he hadn't said when. When we had talked to him his voice had sounded a bit different, he also looked different, he seemed more muscular than the last time I had seen him, he might have gotten that from training at the roman camp but I doubted it since he hadn't been there very long. Next time I see him he will have to give me a better explanation.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on the door. That was odd since nobody had called up to say we had a visitor, the last time that had happened was when Poseidon visited on Percy's birthday. But Poseidon wouldn't be here now because Percy isn't here. As far as we know Percy's at camp. I stood and walked over and opened the door. To my surprise it was Percy at the door, but there was someone else with him. Just as I said, "Percy!"

 he said, "Mom!"

We hugged and he almost seemed stronger than usual. During our hug we both momentarily forgot the other person that had come with Percy. But Percy quickly said, "Mom, Paul, this is Apollo." 

Slightly surprised Paul said, "The sun god?"

 With a bright smile on his face Apollo answered "Yep that's me god of the sun, prophecies, Music,healing, poetry..."

 Percy said, "Okay Apollo they get it."

So we all sat down and I asked Percy, "So what happened? Last time we talked you just said that you had won and that you were fine." 

 So he launched into the story I got the feeling that he still wasn't telling me everything. I had heard from Annabeth that Hera had kidnapped him and sent him to the roman camp, but Percy explained what had happened after he got there, while he was telling the story he shifted his arm and his sleeve slid up revealing what looked suspiciously like a tattoo on his arm.

I said, "Perseus Jackson, when in the name of Hades did you get a tattoo!" 

after I said that he glanced down at his arm only now noticing that his sleeve had slid up. Slightly nervous he said, "I was getting there mom,"

 meanwhile after I had brought up the tattoo Apollo was now laughing his head off at Percy. Percy glared at Apollo and then he quickly explained that he had gotten it when he was made Praetor of Camp Jupiter, and that it's how they mark years of service to the legion.

He continued explaining what had happened on their quest to Greece and Rome, he explained that he and Annabeth had fallen into Tartarus but not sharing the details of what happened down there. Before long he explained the final battle, how they had fought the giants and due to blood from unnoticed injuries, Gaea had risen and the he had fought her. From that point on for some reason he found it hard to explain and he glanced at Apollo who nodded and continued the story, he explained how Percy had defeated Gaea and how she had tried to get her revenge before she was forced back into her slumber. He said she had nearly succeeded by  killing Percy.

The fates had reminded them that there was in fact a way to save him, and that in order to save Percy they had made Percy a minor god.

 "That's why you seem different!" I said suddenly.

 "Is it that obvious?" Percy asked

 "For me it is." I answered slightly amused. 

He sighed and we continued to talk, he told us his domains and admitted that he wouldn't be able to visit as much due to the ancient laws about interfering with mortals.

That obviously saddened us but if the gods hadn't done what they did my son wouldn't even be alive, so we will have to get used to not seeing him as much. We talked for a while longer and then Percy explained that they would be visiting camp half-blood next. And after that they left. I couldn't help but wonder what this would do to Percy and Annabeth's relationship they can't stay together unless Annabeth is made immortal as well and it is obvious how much Percy cares for her.

Percy's Point of view

After we left Mom and Paul's apartment we teleported to just outside the borders of camp half-blood. We walked over the border and headed down into the camp, when Chiron spotted us he said, "Lord Apollo, Lord Perseus What can I do for you?" 

Before Apollo could reply I said, "Chiron There is no need for such formalities with me, you are like a second father to me, Please just call me Percy." 

Before Chiron could reply Apollo said, "Chiron Gather the campers I think we will reintroduce them to Percy here."

Chiron nodded and headed off to gather the campers like Apollo had said. Once they were all gathered they bowed to Apollo Hopefully they were just bowing to him and not me. Apollo nudged me and said, "Go on cuz speak to them" so I stepped forward and said, "as I am sure you are all already aware, I am Percy Jackson, and that During the final battle against Gaea, I defeated her, however she also nearly killed me. In order to save me the gods made me a minor god. I am now the god of Heroes, Rivers, Swordsmanship, Loyalty, and quests. I know that now that I am a god you probably think you have to treat me like you would any other god, however you don't need to. I spent five years at this camp, to me you are all friends or family. There is no need to bow to me or call me Lord, because I don't like formalities and to me you are all friends."

"Well except for one of you" I said, glancing at where I could see Annabeth standing with Grover and the seven minus Frank and Hazel, and myself. Frank and hazel had returned to Camp Jupiter with the rest of  the Romans a few days after peace had been brought to the two camps. When Annabeth saw me looking at her she blushed slightly. Apollo said "go on cuz go see them, besides I think you have a question for one of them don't you?" He said that last part in a teasing tone and Now it was my turn to blush. But then I did what he said and walked toward the crowd of campers looking for my closest friends and girlfriend.

I hoped Annabeth would accept but then again we are technically only seventeen which is pretty young to get married but we are demigods, well technically it's just her now but still if we don't do it now we may never get the chance. As demigods we never know when a monster might get a lucky hit and kill us. I don't have to worry about that anymore but she still does, and considering how she had acted when I had iris messaged her I honestly don't know what she'll do. She acted like she was worried I had changed or something and she had called me Percy but then quickly corrected herself calling me lord Perseus. That had hurt more than it had coming from anyone else, and made we wonder if our relationship will still work
