Sub-Plot #2
Location: Rivendell
Precise Location: Elrond's House
Date: A Day After The Party
Time: Some Time Around Noon
"Wake up Jenrail! You overslept!"
Amarea continued to shake the hobbit until she angerly slapped her hand away.
"I couldn't have overslept that long Amarea."
Jenrail grumbled as she sat up.
"Oh really? Is that what you think Jenrail Sackville-Baggins? Cause I'll have you know that you've been sleeping for almost a month."
"WHAT?!?!?"
Jenrail flew out of bed and grabbed Amarea by the shoulders.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? I WAS ASLEEP FOR A MONTH?!?!?!"
"Relax, you weren't the only one. It seems like everyone around here has taken a month long hiatus. Lazyness or lack of knowing what to do next are the two main factors of it."
"Does anything you say make sense?"
Jenrail muttered as she tried brushing out her tangled hair.
"Does anything you say make sense? Half the time I can't understand a word you're saying. You should stop mumbling all the time."
"Argh! Why did I ever leave my hobbit hole?"
Amarea smiled in delight.
"That's the spirit Jenrail! Don't be enthusiastic about the adventure ahead, dread it with every ounce of your being!"
Jenrail had been debating on whether or not Amarea was crazy. Her last statement confirmed it.
"So why are we here anyway Amarea?"
Jenrail asked as she followed Amarea out of her room.
"We are here to meet with the rest of the company."
Amarea chirped.
"The rest? How many are there?"
"Counting you and me.... Fourteen."
"FOURTEEN?!?!?!?"
"Yeah fourteen. You know you don't always have to repeat everything I say in a louder tone of voice."
Jenrail stopped talking and followed Amarea reluctantly into the big room where important councils take place.
Inside were seated thirteen individuals most were elves, but there were a few hobbits, and one shadowy figure who was very....
Shadowy.
"Ah! I see you have all arrived."
Amarea smiled and sat herself down in an empty chair.
"I grabbed the fourteenth member of our company so now we are ready to begin."
"So, this is the hobbit?"
A voice said mysteriously.
"Hey Livia? You know that there's already a hobbit here."
Jayden huffed in annoyance.
"Jayden? What are you doing here?"
Jenrail asked.
"I was chosen to join this company."
Jayden explained as she nibbled on a loaf of bread.
"SILENCE!"
Amarea banged her staff on the floor.
*tiny sound like plastic hitting plastic is heard while little sparks fly up*
"Awkward."
Jayden whispered aloud.
"Alright, now before I explain why you are here allow me to introduce everyone."
Amarea began.
"Here we have Livia, she is an elf who was raised in Rohan."
"Theafandir is a wandering elf who is deaf. Don't worry he can understand lip reading and can talk just fine. Say "hi" Theafandir."
*Theafandir waves*
"Fine be like that. Most of you know Piper and Caladhiel. Red heads with a knack for getting into trouble."
"Suiadan, guard from Rivendell. Ithilwen, a shy elf from Rivendell who has a crush on- ok I won't go there."
"Jayden and Jenrail are from the Shire, and last but not least is Sims Winter."
Everyone turned to look at the shadowy figure who had removed her hood, revealing long dirty blonde hair.
"Wait minute! Amarea you said that there were fourteen people here, there's only ten!"
Jenrail said counting everyone.
"Did I say that?"
Amarea asked innocently.
"What I meant to say was that ten of our company (including you an me) would be here. The other four are waiting in Mirkwood."
"We're going to Mirkwood?!"
Ithilwen exclaimed a little louder than she had meant to.
She sank in her seat and Livia patted her sympathetically on the shoulder.
"Yes, we are going to Mirkwood but only to collect the other members."
Amarea said her tone growing serious.
"I have gathered you all here to discuss a very important
matter."
Everyone leaned forward in their seats, eager to learn why they had been summoned.
"The reason you are here is- Oh silly me! If I tell you all now I'll just have to explain it again when we get the other four."
Amarea stood up from her chair and smiled excitedly at everyone.
"I guess we'll just have to wait until we reach Mirkwood."
"WHAT?!?!? You're seriously going to keep us waiting?!?!?"
Piper shouted.
"We're not going anywhere until we receive a proper exanation."
Suiadan said crossing his arms.
"You will receive a proper explanation after we have gathered the others. Now are you all just going to sit here or are you going to get up and come on?"
Without waiting for a reply Amarea turned on her heal and stormed out of the room.
Jayden was the first to follow.
"I don't know about the rest of you, but I want to find out what's going on."
She vanished out the door and Theafandir followed next, smiling as he went.
Piper and Caladhiel raced after them while Sims followed at a slower pace. Livia looked as if she was about to stay behind but decided to go after she saw Suiadan and Ithilwen leave.
All that was left was Jenrail.
Why should Iwaste my time going on an adventure? I don't even know what it's about!
If you don't go then you will miss out on the chance of a lifetime.
So? I have no interest in adventures.
But you do, you want to go on an adventure and see the world, you want to be a hero, someone that people can look up to.
I guess so....
Then what are you waiting for? Go have an adventure!
Yes! I will-- wait-- who are you?
Uh....
*user disconnected from your channel*
Hey! HEY!!!!
Jenrail groaned.
This day was getting weirder and weirder.
Realizing that everyone was probably almost gone by now Jenrail decided to do what the readers would want and immediately headed back home.
(A/N Jk!)
Jenrail raced outside and caught up with the others just as they were leaving Rivendell.
"I told you that she would come! Everyone pay up!"
Everyone (except Jayden) grumbled as they all tossed over small bags of money to the beaming hobbit.
"You took bets to see if I would show up or not?"
Jenrail asked in annoyance.
"It hasn't even been five
minutes."
"You should be more surprised that I was the only one who believed in you."
Jayden grinned triumphantly as she pocketed all the money.
"Thanks to you Jen, I have enough money to buy all the bread in the Shire!"
"Your welcome, I guess."
With that the odd company set out to Mirkwood, to meet up with the other members and finally figure out what the second sub-plot would be about.

And their LOTR Fanfic:
The Return of the Orcs
This fanfic is still work in progress with four parts out and was recently updated today.
It takes place after the events of ROTK and centers on the return of orcs after the War of the Ring and the main characters (so far) are Legolas, Aragorn, and one other elf whose name I unfortunately can't remember at the moment.
But he's pretty cool!
So if you don't mind please go check out the story, it's really good so far and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Alright I'm out.
