My Jedi Senses Are Tingling

"Dad I'm exausted! Can we please take a break?"
Phoenix begged. His head was pounding amd he had a serious headache.

"No breaks until you move that brick to the other side of the ship."
Thranduil said without looking up from his newspaper and sipping some coffee out of a mug that said, World's Best Elvenking.

"Why can't I just pick it up and carry it over there?"
Phoenix asked pointing at the small Lego brick on the floor.

"Jedi use the Force. You have to learn how to use it if you ever want to become a Jedi Knight."
Thranduil replied as he skipped through the sports section of the newspaper and went straight to the funny pages.

Phoenix groaned and glared at the red Lego brick.
You're making my life miserable you know that right?

"Hey Thranduil, where exactly are we flying to anyway?"
Pippin asked from where he sat beside Lindir who was piloting the ship.

"Lindir knows where to go. And you better not crash this ship or I'll execute Order 73."

Both Lindir and Pippin stiffened and kept both of their terror filled eyes glued to the galaxy in front of them.

"What's Order 73?"
Phoenix asked hoping to get out of his impossible task of moving the Lego brick with the Force.

"If you were a Jedi you would know, and until you learn how to use the Force you will never be a Jedi. SO GET THAT LEGO BRICK MOVING!"

Phoenix groaned and glared at the Lego brick once again. Checking to see that his father wasn't looking, he softly kicked the Lego brick to the other side of the ship.

"I did it."
He announced triumphantly.
Thranduil didn't even look up as he pointed his index finger at the Lego brick, flicked his wrist, and sent the brick flying into Phoenix's face.

"Ow!"
Phoenix rubbed his right cheek where the Lego had struck him.
"Nice try son."
Thranduil smirked as he finished off the last of his coffee.

Lindir and Pippin snickered.
"Go ahead and laugh."
Pheonix snapped.
"I'm sure that you two had just as much trouble as I'm having!"

"I got it on my third try."
Lindir commented without taking his eyes off the starway.
"I got it done in thirty minutes."
Pippin added.

Phoenix started grumbling again. He had been trying to move the brick for over four hours.

"You'll be able to do it
eventually."
Thranduil assured him.
"You just need to keep trying."

"Maybe I'm not supposed to be a Jedi. Did any of you consider that?"
Phoenix asked them.

"Oh you are. Trust me on this Phoenix, I know that you are the one."

Phoenix looked at his father in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"The one out of my children who is meant to be a Jedi."
He replied finally putting his newspaper aside.

"Are you sure that it's not Legolas?"
"Positive."
"How do you know?"
"I just know."
"That's not a good answer."
"If I told you that I read the rest of this story it would spoil it for the readers."
"The what?!"

Thranduil's face turned red as all three stared at him.
"You will not remember what I just said."
Thranduil waved his hand and all three forgot what he just said.

He was about to do the same thing to readers before remembering that it didn't work last time.

He decided that as long as he didn't mention anything else (and hide the fact that he is a Fourth Wall Breaker) everything would be fine.

*Thranduil glares at writer*

Sorry.

Enough wall breaking!

Suddenly Phoenix felt a sharp pain in the back of his head.
"Ouch! What is going on with my head?"

"You felt it too?"
Pippin asked as he rubbed the back of his own head.
"Yeah?"
Phoenix didn't like where this was going.

"I told you that you were Force sensitive."
Thranduil smiled and patted Phoenix on the back.
"I'll make a Jedi out of you yet."

*Pippin singing*

"Mister I'll, make a Jedi, out of yooooouuuuu-"

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT SINGING THOSE AWFUL SONGS?!"
Lindir shouted resisting the urge to glare at the hobbit. He would not risk crashing Thrandui's ship.

"Oh I'm sorry, you mean songs like- Caaaaaaannnnn you feeeeeeeel the Foooooorce tonight!"

"I'm warning you Pippin."
Lindir growled.

"Let it g-"

"ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Lindir flew at Pippin and knocked him out of his chair, leaving the spaceship flying out of control.

"Lindir!"
Thranduil shouted trying to reach the controls but it was too late.

The ship had already crashed once again.
