Instantly all the elves assumed super cool elf battle stances to face the oncoming Raptors. Jayden and Jenrail were content to sit and watch from behind.

Alassiel (the unmentioned adopted daughter of Thranduil that Legolas and Phoenix neglected to tell any of their friends about) had her bow out and was ready to fire an arrow at the oversized lizards.

Elena, Luna, Sims, and Pely had their bows out too and surprisingly, those five were the only ones who had thought to bring their bows and arrows.

"Should we kill them?"
Elena asked Amarea.
"Nah, they won't hurt us as long as we don't hurt them."

"Are you sure about that?"
Piper asked nervously.
"They look like vicious carnivors to me."

"Carnivors are the ones that can only eat salad right?"
Jayden said clutching a loaf of garlic bread tightly as if it were a sword.

"No those are rabbits."
Caladhiel replied.
"Who cares?! Just shoot em!"
Suiadan (that one elf from Rivendell in case you forgot) shouted.

Unfortunately at that moment the Raptors decided to attack. Alassiel released her arrow first and the first Raptor was struck. Elena and Pely released their bows simultaneously and took down two more Raptors.

Luna fired at a Raptor who had just leapt into the air and brought it crashing down onto the ground in front of them. Sims shot down a Raptor who was coming up from behind them.

"Everybody run!"
Amarea shouted.
"And fight at the same time! I highly recommend fighting for your lives!"

Amarea took the lead and she was followed by Elena, Pely, Luna, Alassiel, Sims, Suiadan, Piper, Caladhiel, Livia (who has throwing knives so that makes her cool) Theafandir, Ithilwen, Jayden, and finally Jenrail.

Everyone had a weapon of some kind out, except for Jenrail who was wondering why she hadn't been given one. Jayden was somehow taking out Raptors with her bread and in front of thw hobbits Ithilwen was wielding a long, thin sword.

The Raptors kept coming from all around them. Soon they would be overrun and dead.

"This way!"
Amarea shouted as they came to a fork in the cave. Literally, there was a fork laying around in the cave.

Amarea went to the left side of the fork and entered a narrow tunnel. Elena, Pely, Luna, Alassiel, Sims, and Suiadan ran right after her.

Just before Piper could follow a Raptor jumped in front of her and blocked the entrance.

The time had come for the company to be seperated. Piper was forced to lead the others into the larger tunnel on the right.

The Raptors immediately gave chase and Jenrail repeatedly wished over and over again that she hadn't left the Shire.

Bad things happened when you left your house! Like being chased in the dark by Raptors.

Being in the back prevented Jenrail from seeing Piper come to a sudden stop, and no one else had time to stop so they all crashed into each other and went falling off of a very steep ledge.

Jenrail had avoided the fall but she still had Raptors to deal with.

Let's see....

Raptors = Painful death

Fall off large cliff = Quick and painless death.

Taking those calculations to mind Jenrail leapt off the cliff in cannon ball fashion whilst shouting, "Geronimo!"

The Raptors watched as she vanished into the darkness in disappointment.

"I really wish that she hadn't done that. We were only trying to show them the way out."
One of the Raptors said to his fellow Raptors.

"Yeah, now they're going to have to deal with him."
Another Raptors said shaking her head.
"I say that they deserve it."
Another Raptor spat.

"We came in ready to assist them and show them they way out and what do they do? Shoot, shoot, shoot stab, shoot, shoot, shoot stab shoot."

"I think you're right. Oh well, let's go see where the others ended up."
With that the Raptors left while half of our heroes disappeared into the black abyss of nothingness.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, and me makes seven. Where did the other half go?!"
Amarea shouted.

"We must have been seperated back in the cave."
Sims announced grimly.
"We can't just leave them there! Let's go back!"
Pely started to head back to the cave but was stopped by Suiadan.
"If we go back we'll get trapped just like they did."

"So we're just going to leave them there to die?"
Luna demanded.
Amarea groaned and kicked her staff.
"This was not supposed to happen! WHY MUST YOU MAKE LAST MINUTE CHANGES TO THE STORY?! HOW LONG DO YOU SIT AND PLAN OVER THESE THINGS ONLY TO COMPLETELY CHUCK IT INTO A GARBAGE CAN AND DO SOMETHING DUMB LIKE THIS?! I HAVE A LIFE TOO YOU KNOW!!!!"

The remaining elves kept their distance from the hobbit wizard.
"So if we're just leaving them behind, what do we do now?"
Alassiel asked.

Silence followed except for Amarea's grumbling.
Elena sighed dejectedly and turned sorrowfully back towards the cave. She didn't want to leave anyone behind.

"We have no choice but to keep moving."
Amarea announced.
"This mystery villain is going to take over Middle Earth in less than a week, we have to stop him."

The others reluctantly agreed. She was right, it was either their seven friends trapped in a cave filled with dinosaurs, or all of Middle Earth.

"Let's just hope that they can somehow get out of there alive."
Sims said giving the cave one last look before turning away altogether.

Sadly, what was left of Amarea's company left the dino infested mountain. Unaware of the fate that had befallen their friends.

In case there is any confusion, the dino infested mountains are NOT the Misty Mountains. The company already passed them on their way to Mirkwood so unfortunately it is not Gollum who the trapped seven are going to meet at the bottom.

But don't worry my friends! You will not be disappointed with whom they end up encountering.
