"Now look what've you done!"
Lindir shouted gesturing to the damaged spaceship.

"It wasn't my fault!"
Phoenix said as he brushed himself off.

"It kind of was."
Pippin picked up a piece of debris and tossed it over his shoulder.

"Well you guys are the Jedi. What do we do to get out of here?"
Phoenix looked at each one but neither of them spoke.

"Um... I actually have no idea what to do."
Pippin scratched the back of his head while Lindir inspected the damaged spaceship.

"There's only one thing we can do. Try and find some other form of life on this planet and see if we can get home."

Lindir took the lead and Pippin and Phoenix followed. All around was sand and rocks. It was a barren wasteland devoid of life.

Pippin talked to keep things from becoming awkward but it happened anyway.

"So during my Jedi training I learned one of the most valuable training techniques in the
galaxy."

"Which is?"
Phoenix asked.
"The piggy-back."

Phoenix stopped walking.
"The what?!"
"Piggy-back rides. Every Jedi master makes their padawan give them a piggy-back ride."
Pippin explained as he gestured for Phoenix to keep walking.

"So Lindir made you give him a piggy-back ride?"
Phoenix asked narrowing his eyes.
"I don't see that working out too well considering that you're a four foot hobbit and he's a six foot elf."

"Anything is pausible with the Force. Although I'll admit that the first time we did it he didn't warn me that he was going to jump on my back and long story short I ended up in the emrgency room that night."

Becoming a Jedi is sounding less and less appealing the further we go.

Another thought occured to Phoenix that made him very uncomfortable.

"Uh Lindir? Didn't my dad train you?"
"Yeah why?"
"Did he make you give him a piggy-back ride?"
"Yes. Don't tell him that I said this but he is a LOT heavier than he looks."

Phoenix was barely listening. His mind was not haunted with the image of Lindir giving his father a piggy-back ride.

"And since I'm training you Phoenix you'll have to give me a piggy-back ride!"
Pippin said nudging him with his elbow.

"I don't remember my dad saying that you were going to train me."
"Maybe you just weren't listening."
"Both of you be quiet!"

Lindir hissed.
"We're being followed."
The mood immediately got serious.

(A/N I forgot to mention that both Lindir and Pippin are wearing Jedi outfits.)

Lindir and Pippin took the lead and Phoenix followed a bit more slowly.

Lindir suddenly pressed himself up against a rock and Pippin did the same beside him. Phoenix followed their lead and watched as a weird, flying, insect, alien, looking thing flew past their hiding place.

It didn't notice them and continued on its way.

"What was that?"
Phoenix whispered.
"No idea."
Lindir replied.
"Come on, I sense more of them nearby."

Phoenix was really starting to get creaped out. Not because they were stranded on a strange place and being followed by weird creatures, but because Lindir was actually being serious and semi-cool.

Which was not normal for Lindir. Pippin was being serious too but he'd done it a few times before so it wasn't as creepy.

Suddenly two of the flying things appeared above them. They let out two high pitched shrieks that were no doubt meant to summon more of them.

Lindir pulled out his green lightsaber and leaped straight up into the air and cleanly sliced both of the creatures' heads off.

He landed in a super cool Jedi pose with one hand holding his lightsaber and the other one spread out for balance.

His hood was still on and he gazed around warily for anymore enemies.

Lindir: Coolness Level 78

"Hey what are those words up there?"
Phoenix asked pointing at the words above him.

His question remained unanswered as more of the flying things appeared. Pippin whipped out a blue lightsaber and jumped towards a large boulder, bounced off of it, spun in the air, and took down pretty much all of the creatures.

He turned off his lightsaber and executed a roll as he landed. He stood up and turned his weapon back on again, ready to face more of the creatures.

Pippin: Coolness Level 84

"Seriously what is that?"
But Lindir and Pippin weren't listening. They were now locked in a fierce battle between themselves and the flying things.

Phoenix watched opened mouth as they flipped, sliced, and  Forced, all of the flying creatures.

"That was awesome."
Phoenix said clearly impressed.
"There will be more."
Lindir said putting away his lightsaber.
"Come on, we have to get out of here."

Lindir led the way and Pippin followed. Unfortunately they didn't get very far.

The three skidded to a stop as a massive army of the flying things appeared all around them. There was no way Lindir and Pippin could fight them all.

"This isn't going to end well."
Pippin commented as the creatures descended on them.

And the author left everyone off with a terrible cliff hanger.
