Chapter Twenty Seven

Omega's POV

I looked down into the massive mountain seeing the giant like creature from another planet, it was specifically from Planet 454 when we did a recon mission, unfortunately we were still quite  bit new to this stuff so we didn't get to do it very well, the cost of that was Castor almost dying. My body was shaking with rage, I needed to control my temper, who knows the consequences if I blow up another galaxy.

I heard silent footsteps behind me, I turned around my guard up, I sighed as Skye went out of the clearing with an eyebrow raised.

"What are you doing here" I said 

"I should be saying the same thing to you" She said

I sighed, she was so stubborn at times "How about the assassins?"

"They wouldn't listen to me" She said

"Something about being on the first day of the job" She said scratching the back of her head.

"Well we have no time for that now" I said looking at the mountain where the giant was climbing, I pointed at the approaching monster, Skye peeked at the ledge widening her eyes.

"I though those have died a few thousand years ago by Chaos" She said

"My guess is Destruction brought them back to life" I said, Skye and I yelped as a tremor occurred right as we were talking, a giant hand was hanging onto the ledge, the giant hoisted itself up his full body showing, the scorpion tail was circling around his body in a pm offensive position.

I gritted my teeth trying to see any opening that I could get

"Any plans" I asked her, she shook her head.

"I command a small portion of Destruction's army, Monsters Attack!" the giant said, monster suddenly appeared from the trees circling us holding weapons

"Ah Styx, Monsters" I said unsheathing Wavestorm, she looked at me with a glare

"No Styx Sherlock" She said sarcastically unsheathing her sword. The monsters charged looking hungry for some Demigod meat. I stabbed a Hellhound trying to remind myself that this was not Mrs O Leary, I reminded myself that this was a dangerous monster that would kill anything in its path, the monsters started to dissapearing turning into dust from our blades.

Every time a monster died, two will take its place from another planet, each stronger than the last, Hail Hydra. We were starting to tire as more and more monsters wearing heavy gear started appearing, they were all monsters from the planet 546, they were very resilient in hand to hand combat. I gritted my teeth and managed to slay one.

"We're getting cornered" I said

"Again, No Styx Sherlock" She said rolling her eyes. She started growing bright her form flickering, the monsters started to disintegrate right as they appear. Skye's form began to falter the white light fading, the daughter of Order fell to the ground gasping, her breathing unsteady. I looked at the giant that was hanging by the ledge

"Well well I will enjoy destroying this little village of yours" The giant said with a smirk

"You will not dare" she growled in anger, my blood boiled in anger, though I wasn't particularly welcome here, it was still Skye's home, I wanted to protect it just like Skye wanted to protect her home. A giant arrow was shot from the woods piercing the monsters groin, I couldn't help but since as the monster screamed in agony.

A ballista carried by a dozen hunters appeared from the trees shooting barrages of tree sized arrows all of them hitting their marks. The assassins went to wor firing arrow after arrow tying down the monster's arms and legs. Skye approached the monster with a grin.

"You can't take us down" Skye said, the scorpion tail suddenly sprang out and zoomed towards Skye, I quickly went to the girl and pushed her out of the way, the tail hit exactly at my leg, I screamed in pain, my leg feeling like it was burning in pure fire. It was way way way worse than Greek Fire. They forgot to tie the tail, the monster started to free from its bonds and destroying the ballista's, the assassins tried their best holding off the monster, the tail came out of nowhere and knocked the assassins to the ground.

The group of girls retreated to lick their wounds. I stood up wincing in pain, the venom was too much, it was spreading fast, because of my powers, the venom was slowed, but it was only a matter of time until the venom spreads all over my body. I sighed in defeat as the assassins ran away to defend their homes, all but one.

"This is something I have not shown to anyone, don't every tell anyone that I showed this to you" I said, Skye nodded hesitantly

I sheathed Wavestorm and looked at the ring in my pointer finger, there were pretty elegant designs on it ranging from red to gold to white. I twirled the ring, no one ever knew the capabilities of this ring, up until now, Chaos was the only one who knew its properties. I activated the ring a scythe materializing in my hand.

The scythe was made up of Celestial Bronze, Stygian Iron, Imperial Gold, and Chaos metal all forged into one scythe. It could kill a primordial and make them fade, albeit it could find are well against the upper primordials, it can't make them fade, only the lower primordials like, Nyx and Tartarus. I made a large slash with the scythe making the monster scream in pain, a tail sprang out and tried to puncture me, I rolled out of the way and created a huge gash on his shoulder. I tapped the scythe the weapon splitting in two, a chain in the middle.

I used the chain to my advantage and threw the chain scythe at the monster, the weapon made a weird sound as it made contact with flesh, I pulled on the chain using some of my superhuman strength and pulled it down. I removed the scythe and jumped as high as I could, I threw the scythe back at the giant the scythe digging deep into his chest. I pulled myself downwards using the chain and kicked the monster in the face, the monster groaned and fell down the mountain screaming in agony.

I landed on the ground with a thud looking at the ledge, the giant fell down with a large tremor causing the mountain to shake, I smirked until I saw the three Giants that approached the mountain. My face dropped, I wasn't in the condition anymore to fight. I readied myself as three more of the Giants came into view and climbed themselves up the mountain.
