Yesterday, Carla has set for Japan. She'll finally live there and experience the snow and the cherry blossoms, she always tells me about. She left her stuff here just so I could somehow remember every bit of her.

My very best friend has always loved anime, that's why she collects cute plush toys of her favorite anime characters. I never liked anime before until I got influenced by her and we both caught up on our favorite shows.

I assume she likes video games too because I saw her game consoles, and her massive collection with a wide variety of stuff to play. She left her rusty old Gameboy Advance SP with me, she might have not needed it anymore, thus she gave it to me.

When I finally played with the Gameboy, I had it fixed first. I enjoyed myself with the games she had owned, but I got bored with all that SNES games, and Kirby. So I searched on the Internet for game cartridges that I can find. Then there is some person on Facebook by the name of "Bong" whose reselling a used Pokémon Emerald cartridge.

His reason wasn't clear. The box was in good condition, especially the chip, and it has a reasonable price for just 250 pesos. I contacted the man and told him that I will buy the Pokémon Emerald. Because I'm too interested in it.

The following day came and everything went easy. The package arrived and I became so excited that my mom kept banging on my door. She told me that I had to hurry up because the delivery man will not wait, especially many are buying online these Holidays. I then picked up my order.

I opened it up and put the Emerald chip on the Gameboy. I started to play the game. I find it peculiar that there's already a save file on the chip. Usually when I download Gameboy roms and play it on my PC or smartphone emulator, the start of the game is always empty.

The save file was of a female character named "LORA", the girl played for one hundred and four hours, and thirty-five minutes. She already has 8 badges. I checked on the file and found the May character is on the entrance of Mt. Pyre. I checked her trainer's card, I found that she has already beaten the Pokemon League, three times. She might already have access to the "Regi ruins," at least that's what I call it, I played Pokemon 8 years ago and I already forgot about it.

Then I browsed her Pokemon, she's got a wide variety of Pokemon right there, she's already caught the legendaries I see. Also her items, and her PokeNav's map has access to the Battle Frontier.

As much as I wanted to relive my childhood, I tried every available function of the game that the old user has unlocked. Then after 15 minutes, I figured everything out. I used Rayquaza to fly to the frontier and check everything out but apparently, she's beaten everybody in the frontier already. This Lora girl must be one great gamer!

I wish everyone had plenty of time, because mine became too short since high school.
