THE SUITECASE BY THE DOOR
At the door lies
your suitcase there,
you told me to pack it
for this morning, beware,
that I won't see you,
the world feels so bare.
A light never faded,
and that light was you,
but now you're leaving,
breaking me anew.
This story ends,
though I can't find the words,
I can't tell this tale,
as it now hurts.
