You woke up to the light that shined in your eyes. You slowly opened your eyes and shut them again as the annoying light blinded you. You turned to your right side and opened your eyes again. Everything was still blurry but you noticed a familiar nightstand and an open door. Then realization hit you to where you were, you were in your room at the North Pole. You sat up groggily, a wave of pain and dizziness hit your head, you immediately placed your hands to your head to help balance it. You heard fluttering of wings  come beside you. You didn't need to see who it was, it was Tooth. 

"Woah Y/N, take it easy. It was quite the bruise you have." Tooth said holding you down. You fell down at your bed with a soft thud. 

"Are you okay?" Tooth asked concerned.

"Fine... How long have I been out?" 

"About 3 days... Bunny found you lying unconscious in the Library Floor." Your eyes widened at the words.

"W-What? W-Why?"

"I was going to ask you the same question. Do you remember what happened?"

"No I  don't--" You cut yourself off as the memories pf 2 days ago hit you. You immediately sat up again, you felt a wave of pain hit your head but you ignored it. You looked around the room, expecting to see a white haired boy with beautiful sky blue eyes. When you saw none, you looked at Tooth  worried. 

"Where's Jack? Is he okay?" You asked worriedly.

"I don't know..."

What do you mean you don't  know?"

"I haven't seen Jack for 2 days. He's missing. No one knows where he is. Manny does but he won't tell us." 

"Wasn't Jack there with me when you found me?" Tooth shakes her head.

'When Bunny found you, you were the only one  in the room. You were covered in ashes and had some burns on your skin. You even had red blood around you but no sign of Jack... There were drops of blood towards the window but no Jack. Where is he?"

"I don't know.." You said sadly. You trailed off.

It has been a week since you woke up and found out Jack was gone. You've been slacking off and ignoring everyone who tried to talk to you. You walked around and went to the Library but you mostly stayed in your room, sulking and worried sick where Jack was. 

You were now in your room meditating. You had nothing better to do. You didn't like sulking too much, it was a burden, you would say. It was peaceful until you heard knocking on your window.

You opened one eyeball to see who it was, it was Manny. When you did, you bit you tongue to stop yourself from cursing. You closed again your eyes and tried to ignore him and think that you didn't see him. You heard him open your window and stepped inside your room. You heard him go to your door and shut it close. Still you ignored his presence and tried to focus on your meditating. You felt him sit beside you.

"I know you saw me..." Manny said kindly. You could feel his stare burn at your skull but continued to ignore his presence. After a few minutes, you heard a sad sigh come beside you. 

"You know, it's rude to ignore an old man's presence..." He said. Your jaw tightened and your hands turned to fists but you took a deep breath to calm yourself down. 

"And it's rude to interrupt someone's privacy..." You answered back.

"Y/N, please, just talk to me, then I'll leave you be..." He said. You gave a defeated sigh and looked boredly at Manny. 

"What do you want?" You asked, eager for him to leave.

"That's no way to talk to your Grandfather, young lady." Manny said sternly. You looked away and felt a tiny bit of guilt rise to your heart. 

"Alula, Siria and I didn't raise you and let you go free to forget your manners." 

"Sorry Grandfather..." You said softly. 

Siria is your grandmother. She is the Sun. She lived there for most of her years until one fateful day, she met your grandfather, Manny aka The Man in the Moon. They got married and your mother came to be, Alula Moon. Since Alula's parents were the Sun and the Moon and they have duties to the People of Earth, Alula was human. Alula had a wonderful childhood but always longed to be with her parents. She met your father and had you. But when Alula was giving birth to you, she got sick and was broken hearted since your father left you and her. She lost the will to live on Earth so she asked Manny, her father, to talk her to a place away from Eartg, away from all the pain. Manny granted her wish and turned her into a star. She now lives in the sky with her parents like she always wanted. 

"Why are you ignoring the Guardians? Do you dislike them that much?" Manny asked.

"No... Just guilty..." You said sadly.

"Why?"

"It's my fault why Jack left... I don't know why or how but I know it's my fault..." Tears filled your eyes. You looked away for him not to see. 

"How can you say it's your fault when you even don't know why Jack left? What kind of conclusion is that?!

"But--" You started but Manny cut you off. 

"Don't blame yourself for such things. It's not your fault..." You scoffed. You clearly didn't believe him.

"How do you know, Grandfather?" 

"I just do..." Silence engulfed you both for a while.

"He's at Burgess by the lake where he was rebirth as a Spirit. You are still wearing Pandora's Lock, so when it glows, it will take you back here when there's trouble or when the Guardians need you..." Manny said breaking the silence.

"Huh? Who?" You said confused. Manny just smiled at you.

"Jack, of course..." You said shocked. Manny then stood up from his position and walked to the window.

"Oh yeah, I forgot..." Manny said, turning towards you. Manny threw a small dark red pouch at you and you caught it swiftly. You looked inside the pouch curiously, when you saw it was filled with red marbles, you instantly looked at him more confused.

"Fire marbles? What am I supposed to do with this?" You asked confused.

"You'll thank me later..." That confused you more. Manny chuckled and light engulfed him. When the light disappeared, Manny was gone. You were dumbfounded but after a few seconds, you stood up from your position.

You quickly opened your closet and immediately changed your clothes to something comfortable. It was black tight sleeveless shirt that reached your waist, a high collared f/c sleeveless jacket that is buttoned up except the collar, showing s little of the black shirt underneath, a long fingerless f/c gloves that was above your elbows, long black leggings, and brown (no heel) boots. You got your small pouch of healing stones, got your f/c coat and headed out of your room. Your pet owl, Nerein, was following you from behind. You walked downstairs to see many yetis working with countless of toys for tomorrow's Christmas. You saw a stack full of portal ice globes. You quickly went to it and swiftly, without a yeti or elf knowing. You then went outside and whispered some words to the globe and threw it to the ground. A wide colorful portal appeared in the snow. You walked towards it, unafraid.

Jack was sitting in front of the frozen lake in Burgess,his home place. It was where he saved his little sister many years ago. He didn't want to come back to the North Pole. It felt good to be here but also brought sad memories of his death.

You came to a winter forest. It was a beautiful sight. The sun was still out and snow rained everywhere. Then you saw a white haired boy his back facing you who was frosting the already frozen lake. You smiled a little to see he was okay. But it quickly vanished as soon as the memories of the past few days flashed through your mind. 

"You know the Guardians are gonna kill you when they find out that you've been hiding all this time here, Old Boy..." You said as you crossed your arms. Jack turned around and met your eyes with his shocked blue ones. 

"Y/N... You're here...' Jack said shocked. You waved you hand at him but stopped when a wave of pain and dizziness hit you. Then trees became blurry, every part of your body became heavy and started to lose consciousness. Then you felt the hard cold ground hit your back.

"Y/N!" Jack shouted in the distance as he saw you fall on the ground. He got up, left his staff and ran to you but couldn't catch you before you fell on the ground.

You heard Jack call your name but your eyes had already shut down and wouldn't open again. It was too heavy, too painful, too burdensome. You could hear Jack call your name again and shake you but you lost his voice and the darkness consumed you. 

A/N: HEY GUYS!!! Happy New Year! I apologize for the late update. I was having technical problems and my internet is being murdered. I had fun writing this book with all of you.
