Diana King sighed as she took in the sight before her.

Her father, James, was currently trying to convince himself that Diana didn't have to leave just yet. "Just stay, one more year! Look, I know you already bought a place but maybe we could just pay the bills while your here!"

Her mother, Lily, gave Diana a look as they stared at the overprotective father who was now talking to himself.

"James come on now stop acting like she's a little girl, she's 21 now, perfectly old enough to move out." Lily said.

James seemed horrified.

"But she's always going to be my little princess! Don't try and tell me that she's old enough to move out! She's old enough when I say." James said stubbornly as he ran a hand through his dark brown hair that was now riddled with grey.

"Dad stop acting like I'm moving to Australia. It's only a 2 hour drive from Bristol to London and I'll come and visit you as often as I can okay?"

Diana's smile looked reassuring but the beautiful Emerald - Green eyes that her mother had gracefully handed down to her told another story.

James went to speak but before he could argue, his Wife gave him a chilling glare that Diana and James had  nicely nicknamed "The Lily Look".

He sighed. "I'll miss you my Princess." He said stroking her beautiful long red hair and kissing the top of her head.

Diana smiled knowing that her father had finally accepted defeat.

Now it was time to leave Bristol and her old life behind.

She was more than ready.
