The day after the newspaper was released, the Selected were told to gather in the large dining room. No one gave them a reason why. At first, the Selected were the only people in the room, but after a few minutes, Queen Ariana walked into the room followed by Princess Amara and the rest of the royal family, as well as one of the guards, Officer Abel Johnson. Three reporters, excluding Flynn Gable hurried in after them and made their way to the side of the room.

It would be a surprise to see Amara outside of her room, but she acted like nothing had happened the day before.

"Hello, everyone. I'm sure you all are confused as to why you are here, so I will not waste any time," Amara began, looking at all the Selected. "I will stay at the palace, despite the...recent events." She glanced at the queen before continuing, "I will be carrying on with the Selection along with my brothers. But I have been discussing a few things with my mother, and she has allowed me to bring someone new into the Selection." She paused, watching for the Selected's reactions. "Officer Abel Johnson is joining the Selection as one of my suitors," she announced, once again looking around for the reactions. "That will be all." She smiled sweetly and walked out of the room before anyone could say anything.
