Lance
Lance McClain. The funloving and flirty goofball at The Garrison. He was known for flirting with each and every girl he lay eyes on. As a child Lance had no friends. He grew up with nobody but his family to keep h oooh m company. He used to always do his homework and have it in on time every single day. That all changed when he became 14. He began to stop paying attention in classes and began acting different. He began joking around and flirting as much as possible. He made two friends named Pidge and Hunk. Nobody knows why he changed but he changed and that was it. All they know is that he looked to the stars when he was alone.
Lance grabbed his bookbag and ran out the door saying a quick goodbye to his large family. The 17 year old gripped onto his bag and saw Hunk and Pidge waiting for him. Lance waved at them and ran over.
"Hey Lance! Ready for The Garrison?" Pidge asked as they began walking "I guess we are staying there for the next couple of years."
"Of course! And I bet I am going to he a fighter pilot! I will be the greatest fighter pilot ever!" He stopped and chuckled "well, probably not as great as Shiro." He said thinking about the pilot who went missing with Matt and Sam Holt on the Kerberos mission. He looked over at Pidge and noticed him tense up. "Why do you always freak out when somebody mentions the Kerberos mission or any of the crew? It's not like you had any sort of connection to the mission." Lance said and yawned.
Hunk stayed quiet during this conversation.
"Just leave it alone Lance." Pidge muttered angrily. Lance sighed and looked at Hunk "what position do you want to be?" He asked the darker skinned boy. Hunk smiled "I would be happy with anything but I would rather be an Engineer than a Cargo Pilot or a Fighter Pilot." He said excitedly. Lance has never met Hunk's family but he knew that Hunk's dad was a mechanic, and taught Hunk everything he knew.
The group of teenagers finally made it to the Garrison where they would be living for the next couple years. Lance noticed a boy with a jet black mullet and a red cropped jacket on. Lance shrugged and continued walking. He was prepared for the next part of his life, and he was going to be a fighter pilot no matter what.
Oof this will probably be the worst chapter in this story...Keith will have more in detail chapters probably because I can understand his character and personality more. I mean Lance is my favorite character and all but I can write Keith's personality better I guess. Lance I understand is so much more than what I wrote him as and I plan on developing the character into what his true potential is.
