---Will's POV---

I just stood there, staring at my blind mate, who had found out what we are while every other human just looked past that; they didn't have a clue about the fact that we are werewolves. Noticing that my mouth was hanging open, I closed it with an audible snap, which made Kim smirk slightly from her position at the doorway.

"How? When?" I stuttered, extremely confused at all this. The rest of my pack was all standing in several poses of shock, amusement or surprise. Kim smiled slightly, closing her eyes while tracing her ear.

"Because I'm blind, not deaf. I've been here twice, and both those times I could hear what I thought were dogs, barking and howling around the house. But nobody here mentioned having dogs while I could clearly hear them running in the backyard." Kim moved her hand away from her ear and placed her hand on the wall, tracing it while she walked in my direction.

I smiled lightly and took a few steps towards her before she was right in front of me and placed her hand on my chest, causing me to purr at the contact. Kim shook her head with a chuckle, mumbling, "That's different." to herself before she glanced up at me.

"Would it surprise you if I'd say that you were the reason for pulling me over the edge?" she asked, tapping my chest lightly while she looked up in my eyes, her unseeing green eyes sparkling with amusement while they seemed to glide over my face. I shook my head, still in a dazed state while I felt my lips pull up in one of those shit-eating grins, especially when Kim reached up to trace my face for my expression.

She found out because of me? That's all my wolf had heard; she knew because of me, because of us. Our mate had figured it all out by herself, but we convinced her of what we are. He purred in approval, especially when Kim traced the pads of her fingers over my lips, which stretched in an almost painful grin.

Kim laughed softly while she tilted her head to the side. "What are you grinning about?" she chuckled louder and I felt myself laugh with her before I pulled her in my arms. "Oh no, I'm not telling yet. You still need to explain how I convinced you that we are what we are. And why you haven't run out the door, screaming." I added with a small frown.

She looked down, frowning slightly before she said, "Deal, if you guys fill me in about all this." She said with a hand gesture to the rest of the pack, while mom and dad walked in from the yard, both smiling and shaking their heads at Kim. Kath chuckled, clearing everyone from their amazed daze.

"That's Kim." She said, shaking her head while she walked up to her best friend and pulled her out of my arms into a hug of her own. "Leave it to you to reveal that you know everything. Just so you know: I know too, but I was told." Kim playfully shoved Kath away, rolling her eyes.

"Of course you're told about it. Otherwise you'd be screaming loud enough that the people on the interstate could hear you." Kim smirked teasingly, earning herself a jab in her ribs from a grumbling Kath. David walked up and wrapped his arms around Kath's waist.

Nuzzling her neck, David glanced at Kath then at Kim while he murmured, "Well, you missed that part a few days ago. Man, never knew that a girl could have iron lungs like that!" Kim joined in his laughter before I slightly tugged at her hand, causing her to look in my direction with a confused expression.

"You were explaining something?" I said, clearly showing my amusement when she bit her lips and mumbled, "Oh yeah." Dad walked up and looked at Kim, slightly shaking his head. "It's quite amazing that you've found out on your own, while we've lived here amongst other humans for decades."

I hugged Kim closer to me, my wolf and I glowing with pride; our mate had just discovered our biggest secret, all on her own. I still couldn't believe it. Kim shrugged, for as far as that was possible with my arms wrapped around her while she turned her body towards father.

"Not to offend sir, but you guys made a poor attempt to hide it. I could hear you guys growling when you got angry, I heard footsteps change into the clicking of claws against the wooden floor and back." She leaned back against my chest while smirking up at me. "Plus, your son has been growling in my ear at school, so I just put two and two together."

I smiled sheepishly when Dad looked over Kim's shoulder at me with a scowl on his face. "What exactly is hard to understand about keeping a low profile?" He asked, his voice heavy with sarcasm. Clearing my throat, I shuffled with my feet while I looked down at Kim.

"Uh..." I mentally slapped myself. Great answer Will! Dad rolled his eyes and stepped forwards, gingerly holding Kim's hands between his own. "Well, since my son can't explain himself, I'll skip his interrogation. Welcome to our pack Kim. I'm the Alpha of the Silver Meadow pack. Eva is our Luna, or Alpha female."

Kim nodded, tilting her head to the side while a small wrinkle appeared between her eyes. She bit on her lip slightly before she spoke up. "Thanks...but uh...why am I welcomed to the pack?" Father sent me another stern gaze at that, which I answered back, mouthing "Trust." at him. For a moment, he kept the hard look in his eyes before his eyes softened when he understood and nodded.

Turning back to Kim, I smiled unconsciously while saying "That's something that I'll explain...in private." I added, causing several of the pack to smile wickedly while the females nodded softly, smiling while they kept their eyes on Kim.

A soft buzzing echoed through the room and Kim frowned slightly when a metallic voice said, "Mom is calling. Accept call?" I frowned and looked at her front pocket of her jeans before she fished her phone out. "Decline." She said. Instantly, the phone stopped buzzing and the metallic voice replied, "Call denied."

"What the hell Kim? Your parents are probably worried and you flip them off?" Kath said incredulously before I growled warningly at her. David growled back and stepped in front of his mate. Kim just sighed and shook her head. "They aren't worried about me. They're just worried about their reputation. Wouldn't want to spoil the image of the picture perfect family." She spat, curling her nose in disgust while I pulled her against my chest.

Looking around the room, I noticed that everyone was nearly combusting with curiosity, so I sent them a mental picture of how I found Kim, bits of what Mike found out before I sternly said, "Not now." Everyone nodded before they dispersed, going back to their daily routines.

Kim lifted an eyebrow but didn't say anything. Meanwhile, Kath was looking guilty, opening and closing her mouth before she looked at the ground with a pout. Kim pinched her nose bridge before she sighed loudly. "It's okay Kath, stop worrying."

David looked at Kim with a bit of awe in his gaze. "How did you..." he trailed of, switching his gaze from Kim to Kath and back again. Kim smiled softly while she closed her eyes. "Just because I'm blind, doesn't mean I can't see. I 'see' with my other senses, so I knew that Kath was stressing out."

With that said, she turned around and slowly, almost hesitantly, laid her hand in mine. "You have some explaining to do." I chuckled, deeply amused, before I nodded and pulled her towards the stairs, where I lifted her up to carry her towards my bedroom.

---Kim's POV---

A happy sigh escaped my lips while I closed my eyes and pressed my cheek against Will's neck when he carried me upstairs on his back. He shivered slightly while that strange purring growl rumbled through his chest. My lips quivered at the sound while I stayed there, resting my head in the crook of his neck.

"What did you mean earlier, that you 'see' with your other senses?" Will asked while we headed up the stairs. I smiled in his neck at the curiosity in his voice while I answered, "I can hear more than normal humans. I hear movement, the brushing of cloth against cloth and the movement of air. So I use my ears to see."

I felt slightly tired after everything I've been through the last hours but I knew that I still needed to answer some questions and get some answers myself. William chuckled lightly before I was softly lowered on his bed. "So, things are easier for me now that I don't have to fear that you run away when you find out what I am."

Chuckling with him, I shook my head while I wriggled back, sitting in the middle of the bed so Will could join me. "I'm just sad I couldn't see the looks on you guys faces. Those must have been priceless." I snickered, feeling the bed dip when Will sat beside me. His soundless chuckle shook the bed while I tilted my head towards him.

"But..." I felt the bed jolt slightly, as if Will snapped his head up to stare at me. He moved closer, pulling me down to lie beside him before he wrapped his arms around me. Sighing contently, I laid my head on his chest while I listened to the rhythmic thumps of his heart.

"But?" Will asked, his voice curious and worried at the same time, making me aware that he was in fact worried that I would have second thoughts about him or his family. I just shook my head and said, "I have a serious amount of questions about you guys. Most I know about werewolves is from movies and books, so you can't hold it against me when I'm misinformed."

Will's laughter roared through the room while his muscles quivered under my face, making me heat up slightly. I heard a familiar buzzing sound, followed by the metallic voice of my phone, saying, "Contact 'Mom' is calling-" I groaned slightly before I said, "Decline!" before the phone could finish its sentence.

"Ask away." Will said after a few seconds of comfortable silence between us, while he soothingly rubbed circles on my hip. I frowned for a moment, collecting my scattered thoughts while I felt Will's gaze on me.

"Hmm...Do you guys change during the moon or is it like twilight?" I wondered out loud, earning a slight scoff from Will while he shook his head. "Why does everyone compare it with twilight?" he asked, causing me to shrug. "I don't know, I only read the books."

I felt Will's finger brush over my face while I just wished I could see. Everything would have been a lot easier at that. His hand barely brushed under my eyes before he said, "Well, if you really need to compare; yes we change like those wolves from Twilight and no, we don't need the moon to change."

He moved under me, pulling me closer to my side while a shiver ran through his chest. If my head wasn't pressed against it, I wouldn't have heard the soft growl run through it. "We're born this way, it's not like a disease, we're just a completely different species then humans. Like the wild wolves, we pair up or mate with that one person that suits us the most."

I swallowed at that. So I would lose him after all; he had a mate out there waiting for him. Would he find her soon or could I enjoy the comfort of Will's arms a bit longer. But then again, was it wise to stay with him, if it would only break me apart in the end?

Although I barely know Will, I had a feeling that he was someone I could build on, someone I could trust. He had always been nice to me, helping me without making me feel helpless or suffocated by doing too much.

A hand lifted my chin up so Will could look at me. I frowned slightly when he hummed before I traced his face, trying to figure his strange mood out. When I brushed my fingers over his chin, the familiar tingle danced through my nerve ends. I shook the feeling off as best as I could while my fingers brushed over his brows, his mouth...

He was.... smiling?

Will chuckled slightly before he kissed my temple; I froze instantly at the contact of his lips with my skin. "Relax Kim. There's nothing to worry about." He turned to his side and cupped my face softly between his hands. "I found my mate a few days back at school. Her best friend introduced her to me and I wanted to flirt with her." I could almost see him smirk with that bit.

"Then I made a stupid remark about taking her to the movies and I would let her choose the movie. Problem with that was, my mate is blind." I froze completely, even my breathing stopped for a moment, my heart stopped beating before it picked its pace again, rapidly beating against my chest.

"A-are you saying..." I stuttered while my mind couldn't cope with this bit of information, not without affirmation from Will. He picked my hands and placed them over his face so I could feel his expression. He nodded his head slowly while a crooked grin pulled at his lips.

My hands fell on his chest when he leaned forwards until his breath mingled with mine and my whole body felt weak from his proximity. Another of those purring growls filled the air while Will pulled me closer to his body before he whispered in my ear, "You're my mate Kim."

I was stunned for a moment before it slowly started seeping in. I was his mate, Will was bounded with me...before I could stop it, tears started to roll down my cheeks, and I couldn't stop them. Will shifted in bed before the pad of his thumb brushed the tears away.

"Kim, what's wrong? Don't you-" He sounded hoarse, pained even, as if he couldn't bear the sight of my tears. I shook my head and interrupted him, hoarsely saying, "I'm sorry." before I hid my face in my hands, hiding those traitorous tears that still fell down.

"Sorry for what?" Will said worriedly while he softly pulled my hands from my face, although I tried my best to keep them there. It was as if he didn't feel that I was using most of my strength to keep them there. Instead, I just buried my face against his chest, hoping to hide those damned tears.

"For being stuck with me." I breathed against his chest, what made Will shiver before he froze and growled. This time though, his growl sounded more like he was angry with me. He leaned away from me and cupped my cheeks again, forcing me to show my face. My eyes were probably red and puffy from those tears.

But then again, how could I react in another way? I knew what I was; I was blind, broken goods. A burden that nobody wanted. I still remember what Will's face felt like when I touched him and I knew that he was handsome...hell, he was downright gorgeous, Greek god perfection. So why would he want to be stuck with a broken girl?

Will tilted my face slightly while rubbing his thumbs soothingly over my cheeks. "Do you think that I don't want you?" he asked, although he kept his voice soft and gentle, I could sense the underlining anger that simmered just beneath the surface.

I simply nodded my head, for as far as I was allowed to move in his hands. Will growled again before he sighed and removed one of his hands to trace over my eyes, which fluttered shut at the tingling sensation of his fingers. "Does it have anything to do with the fact that you're blind?"

With a shivering sigh, I swallowed before I managed to croak, "Yes." I heard Will sigh while he rubbed the last tears away from my face. Suddenly, he rolled around without a warning, trapping me underneath him while I squealed. My hands shot out, feeling Will's chest before I traced it to notice that his arms were caging me in.

A soft growl rumbled through Will's chest before my hands were trapped in his in a gentle hold. "Can you stop doing that? You're driving me insane...not to mention my wolf." I blinked at that before Will sighed, his breath flowing over my face and numbing my mind.

I knew I should be afraid, being held like this in a house that wasn't my own...but I wasn't. The daze disappeared when Will moved his weight slightly, releasing my hands before his own hand was placed softly against my cheek.

"Kim, I don't give a damn that you're blind. You've captured my attention from the second my eyes landed on you. I didn't even know that you were blind until you pulled that cane out of your bag." A deep sigh was heard before his lips rested against my forehead for a moment.

"When I knew about your blindness, it didn't even cross my mind to reject you. I just wanted to know what happened to you, so when Kath told me to search up the Hale-case, I did."

I looked to the side; not wanting that Will would see the frown that appeared on my face. He sighed before he dropped himself to my side, pulling me against his chest again. I felt my cheek flush to a deep red when William brushed his knuckles over my cheek and breathed softly, "You're so beautiful and you don't even see it."

William sighed again before he continued, "I know what happened to you Kim. All of it." He added when I opened my mouth to protest. He placed a finger over my lips and said, "I don't care that you're blind Kim. You're my mate, and I couldn't have chosen a better girl to be bonded with for the rest of my life. The question is, can you accept me?"

---Will's POV---

I looked down at Kim's face while my stomach clenched in anticipation. Would she accept me or would she reject me? My wolf whined just thinking of the last thought and I had to agree with him; I didn't think I could survive it if my little mate would reject me.

Staring down at her, I couldn't help but inhale deeply when Kim's own fragrance of orchids, pine trees and citrus wafted around me. It helped me calm my wolf and myself while he purred at the close contact between Kim and me.

My fingers traced the contours of her face, while I was getting more and more nervous with each passing second. She would either accept me, and with me, the position as future Alpha female, or she would reject me.

"Our mate wouldn't reject us." My wolf whined softly, moving restless in my mind. "We never gave her a reason to do so." I breathed out slowly, closing my eyes while I was mentally preparing myself for being rejected since Kim took so long.

My eyes popped open when Kim's hand traced over my lips with a soft smile on her own. "Well, I'd love to be your mate, if you'll have me." she said, her smile widening at my startled gasp. "Really?" I nearly shouted out before jumping of the bed, yanking her with me and spinning her in a circle.

"Will! You're making me dizzy!" she yelped laughingly and I joined her, dropping myself on the bed while I pulled her on top of me. Before she could recover, I leaned forwards and turned us to our sides, so we were facing each other.

"If I'll have you? You're all mine now." I smirked before I reached out and tangled a hand in her hair, pulling her closer to my face and placed a passionate but soft kiss on her lips. Kim hesitated slightly before she replied the gesture, placing one hand on my chest while the other brushed on the stubble of my cheek.

My wolf howled in excitement, pushing me to take this further but I couldn't. "She just accepted us, you idiot. You really want to jump her right now?" I stated while I pulled away from the kiss, breathing a bit heavier than before. My wolf growled confused, "Yes! No!...Maybe?"

I snorted at the thoughts of my confused wolf before I smiled when I noticed that Kim was breathing heavier as well. I smiled slightly before I tucked her under my arm, loving the way she felt in my arms.

"Contact 'Dad' is calli-"

"Deny! Jesus, when are they going to stop harassing me? If they're so ashamed of me, they should throw a freaking party that they got rid of me!" Kim snapped while she glared at the phone she had pulled out of her pocket.

I frowned slightly at her words but I couldn't help but shrug it off; it was their loss but my gain. I was extremely happy that Kim was here with me...suddenly, an idea popped in my head and I smiled slightly while I sat up a bit.

"Well, since they got rid of you, how would you feel about moving in with me? This house is huge and my parents wouldn't mind." When I noticed the look on her face, I quickly added, "Not to rush into this relationship, but you do need a place to sleep and it would be better for my sanity if I knew you are safe and sound. Especially with your night terrors."

Kim smiled softly and turned in my lap so she was straddling me. "I like the sound of that, as long as you don't expect me to jump in bed with you." She said, frowning as she did so. A wicked smirk crossed my face before I teased, "Well, we're already on a bed, my love, so..."

"William!" she said while playfully slapping on my chest. She squealed when I caught her hand and tried to smack me with the other one. "Really?" I asked, feigning hurt, "You're already laying your hands on me? Oh well." I spun us around and gently tossed her on the bed. "Time for my pay back, woman."

I pounced on her and she squeaked before giggling with laughter when I accidently poked her. "Oh, you're ticklish are you?" I asked, testing my discovery by poking her ribs, earning myself another squeal while she slapped my hand away. Laughing loudly, I pulled her closer to me, smirking, "This should be fun."

The next few minutes, Kim was laughing, screaming and trying to escape my fingers while I tickled her without mercy. "Will...plea-ase.." Kim gasped and laughed again when I tickled around her ribs. "Uncle! I give, I give!"

I let go of her while laughing, feeling a bit out of breath, but clearly not as much as Kim; she was down for the count, sprawled over my bed while she panted, trying to catch her breath. "You're mean." She pouted before sitting back up, turning her head to the side. I smiled when I heard it too; two pair of feet were coming up and from the smells and chatting, it was Kath and David, coming to check on us.

Kim smirked slightly before she whispered, "Move out of the way and point me towards the door." while picking a pillow in her hands. I shook my head in amusement before I sat her down towards the door, smiling when Kath knocked and opened it...before she was hit in the face by the pillow.

I flopped down on the bed, laughing with my mate who fell down with my while I took a glance of an incredulous looking Kath with David right behind her, biting his lip to contain his smirk.

"Kim! What the hell is wrong with you!" Kath exclaimed, throwing her arms in the air while she smiled softly when Kim smirked back and shrugged. "Honestly, I've been trying to figure that out, but I'm just too complicated."

David walked in, laughing and shaking his head before he placed his hands on Kath's hips. I looked at him and sent him a knowing look, happy that my mate has accepted me as well. Kath playfully huffed, "You're really one of a kind Kim. Maybe the gods made a mistake when they let you grace this green planet; we're most definitely not ready for you."

I smirked, playing along while I stood up. "My mate's a mistake you say? Maybe I should trade her in, give her back to the gods until we're ready." Kim looked up and shook her head before she jumped on my back, hanging on tightly. "Oh, no, no, no. You've accepted me as your mate, you're all mine now playboy." I froze before both my wolf and I growled our approval at that sentence.

Kath moved forwards and playfully brushed her hand through my hair, cooing "Ah, poor Will. Can't handle the little girl?" Kim waved Kath's hand away with a huff. "Hey, no touching my merchandise. It's mine, all mine."

I growled louder before I plucked Kim from my back and crushed her against my chest. Nuzzling her neck and shoulders, I murmured, "You better stop saying that love, or I might lose control over my wolf and mark and mate you where we stand." Kim shivered in my hold before she gulped slightly.

"This marking and mating thing...is it a private thing?" I chuckled at her hesitant tone before nodding. "Yes." I laughed while Kath smirked when Kim flushed slightly at her next question. "A behind-closed-doors kind of thing?"

"Double yes." I smirked, feeling satisfied when my mate blushed even deeper before she quickly said, "Hey, let's go downstairs then, before I get jumped by my mate." Everyone laughed, especially when I said, "That would be wise." Kim blushed furiously before she nearly dragged me down the stairs, still laughing at her adorable behavior.

"She can't leave her stuff at home but her parents might hinder her if she went to retrieve them." Mom said while looking at dad and James, who were sitting with Kim and me at the table.

We had explained the whole situation to my parents, causing some of the present pack members to growl when they heard the part of Kim's parents. Mom and Dad agreed to let Kim stay with us, naturally, but Kim had felt a bit annoyed that all her artwork was at home.

James tapped his knuckles on the table, his eyes narrowed while he was thinking. We all rolled our eyes when Kim's phone started ringing, yet again. To everyone's surprise, Kim picked up and replied with a sweet voice, "Kim can't answer now, your broken daughter has troubles with finding the phone, since she's blind. However, she gives you the kindest regards and hopes that you enjoy the comfort of both your houses."

Kim proceeded to shut the phone and removed the battery with a huff. "I'd like to see them calling again." She muttered, creating a smile on my lips while I pulled her closer to the side.

The rest of them chuckled while James nodded his head. "I'm positive that they'll try to stop our young Luna if she ventures home alone. Even if young William goes with her, he might be denied access while Kim is trapped there." James stated, continuing our previous conversation.

I growled at the thought of being separated from Kim; I would probably wolf out and betray our secret to a pair of ignorant humans. A pair of soft hands squeezed mine and the shaking calmed down quickly. I smiled down at Kim before I placed a kiss on her cheek, enjoying the blush it created.

"Well, I'm not leaving her on her own." I stated, pulling Kim of her seat and on my lap. She settled with a shy smile on her face before I rested my chin on her shoulder. I knew she was still rather shy towards the others, a reminder of what she's been through that still got my wolf on edge.

James inclined his head towards me. "I hadn't expected anything else but I'll be accompanying you with my team to make sure that we don't encounter any problems from Kim's parents." I nodded as well while Kim frowned slightly. "Your team?" she asked hesitantly, raising one brow in question.

Father smiled and patted James on his back saying, "My twin James is a police officer and a damned good one at that. He's pretty high up the ranking, not that I know all the details of a human's job, but he has quite some authority." He smiled towards James and punched him on the shoulder. "Probably because we both have Alpha blood in our veins."

I shook my head at the antics of my father and uncle; since they were fraternal twins, they had a pretty good bond with each other. Both of them had access to the Alpha position but uncle James had decided that father was better off with the pack.

"Uhm...sorry to bother you guys..." We turned around towards Kath, who held her phone up while she looked towards Kim. Dad shook his head and replied, "No problem, what is it?"

Kath smiled excitedly, nearly bouncing on the spot while she explained, "Well, I got a call of the Dean, since he can't reach Kim." She shot a pointed look to the battery of Kim's phone, which lay on top of the table before continuing, "The Dean had a meeting with some pretty important people, amongst them art critics, and they were interested in Kim's artwork."

Kim took a gulp of air through her teeth while I grinned widely and kissed her head. "That's awesome!" I smirked, pulling Kim down with me while I stood on my feet. I looked up towards Kath and said, "We're going to get Kim's stuff, care to join us?"

She smiled and nodded. "You're going to tie me up if you want to leave me behind." She exclaimed, looping her arm through Kim's while she gave her a soft pinch. Kim groaned playfully and said, "Please do!"

I shook my head when they playfully started bickering and turned towards the others. "Are we ready?" I asked seriously, looking at James, who nodded and stood up, collecting his things. "Meet me at the house in about half an hour, I'll have the team ready by then."

Well, this should be interesting, to say the least.
