Never to give up
Allura spent hours as she dug up, stabbed, shot, anything at the entrance of the moles lair where they dropped the rabids. Where they rescued Lance. How they escaped.
Pidge, Keith, Shiro and Matt walked over worriedly as Allura frantically dug around the metal as only more metal appeared to the tunnel that lead under ground.
"Allura," Shiro spoke first as she kept digging.
"Shut up," she hissed.
"Allura you've been here all night," Keith nodded with a hand on his hip but pursed his lips by her glare.
"My people are down there, my brother is down there!" Allura whipped her head towards them and saw the hot tears running down her face.
"I-I have to ge-get them out!" She ran her hand through her thick white hair to get it out of her face.
"Allura you have to take a break, it's been hours," Shiro tried putting his hand on her shoulder but she slapped his hand away.
"My brother is down there! Your people are taking my family! Over and over!" She screamed at him making everyone jump back as Shiros eyes widen.
"He h-has a life... H-he has someone that loves him, I-i gave my blessing so he can get married to someone whom I trust to take care of him... I can't let him die, I can't do this without him," she babbled heatedly as her hands shook and started digging again.
"Hey..." Matt walked over to her gently with his hands up. "I'd do the same for my sister, I know,"
"Lance already has gone through your people's bloody hell of a treatment," she spat shoving him back but Matt quickly pulled her in a embrace as she sobbed into his chest.
"We're going to get him back, but you have to let us help," Matt whispered holding the back of her head to keep her still but she nodded hugging him back tightly.
Matt let go and held her face softly wiping her tears away with his thumbs. He kissed her head and led her to a tree and sat her down.
"Take a break, we can trade positions in a couple hours," Matt picked up the shovel and Allura watched with wide eyes. Everyone nodded.
"Can you hack it?" Keith asked taking the shovel and Matt knelt next to the scanner as Pidge joined him.
"Not to easily, they booted us from everything I think, snitches," Pidge hit the scanner with the side of her fist annoyed.
"Might be able to rewire the system to get the door to open, but that risks setting off an alarm," Matt thought outloud and Shiro sat next to Allura as the three worked.
"Your head clear?" Shiro asked softly as Allura inhaled sharply as she sniffled rubbing the back of her hand under her nose.
"I'm scared," she whispered.
"I know, I don't blame you, there's a lot of stress," he nodded putting his jacket over her shoulders seeing her shivering a little.
"If Lance dies, I'm going to loose it, I don't know what I can do, if I can do this without him," Allura sobbed into her hands.
"I'm suppose to be a leader but I'm fucking sobbing like a infant, how am I suppose to be a strong leader?" She shook her head wiping away her tears.
"Because it shows your passion, that your like them, you care for your people Allura, you have family like them," Shiro smiled.
"What if something happens to him like last time?" Allura whispered.
"You got shot last time," Shiro stated.
"They took most of my army, the scouts never came back, no ones coming back!" She cried out. "They're taking everyone!"
"What could those sick bastards be doing with that many?" Allura looked at him with wide eyes and he pursed his lips wondering the same thing.
-------
Lance tapped the metal under him nervously with his finger as he didn't dare look outside. He couldn't move. He waited for when Lotor came back probably from killing the other warrior. He wouldn't hold back because it's a girl, Lotor would fight her, he would kill her, she's a warrior not an innocent.
Lances breath was shaky as his ears twitched hearing every sound and could feel people's stare on him as he didn't move except his chest that heaved slightly but struggled to keep his breathing steady.
"Lance," Harper whispered back softly across the prison. "Are they going to take me next?"
Lance looked at him with wide concern eyes not thinking that's what he we going to be asked. Harper gulped and Lance nodded at him seeing how Harper could tell he wasn't okay so what was the point of asking.
"I don't know, there's no pattern," Lance gulped back his anxiety remembering he was still their leader, a general, he couldn't stay weak. They all had to escape.
"But if you do, no matter who is it, slaughter that bastard if you want to go home," he smirked and Harper let out a shaky laugh as Lance saw his hands shaking.
But then the doors open.
Lance pressed his face as close as he could to see who was coming or who was exiting the hell they entered outside the doors.
It was the woman, she was snarling at the soldiers with blood covering her hands and splattered across her face and neck but had some cuts on her as well.
"Lotor?" Lance gasped but he wasn't anywhere to be seen.
"Lotor?!" He called with wide eyes.
"Where is he?!" He screamed slamming his fists on the cage door. "What did you do to him?!"
Lance screamed cusses and threats as he punched and kicked at the door but when the bolts came off he kicked it again and leaped out grabbing a commander who was reading for more prisoners.
He slammed him onto the ground as his nails dug into his neck.
"Where is Lotor?!" He roared as the man stared up at the blood thirsty general.
"Who?!" He cried out.
"Thar fucking man that you took! Where is he?!" Lance screamed as tears slowly made their ways down his angry face.
"Dead! He failed trial!" The man screamed back with fear. Lance paused staring at the man in shock. A tear dripped off his chin as his grip loosened on his neck.
"You rabid get off-" the man was cut off when Lance grabbed his pen and stabbed it into his throat and ripped it out. Lance sneered down at him and snapped his neck quickly as he watched the mans fear dim into death. And he didn't feel bad about it.
Lance stood up as he saw soldiers surrounding him as warriors screamed and his own people tried freeing themselves to help as well but the guns pointed at them made them stop slowly. Lance looked at iverson with pain in his blue eyes and tears running down his face.
"Chain him up," iverson sneered at Lance who held the pen in hand but threw it sharply as if impaled into a mans eyes next to iverson.
"Your next," Lance spat but cried out when electricity hit him from a taser.
