Always
"Shh, we're going to get caught," Lance giggled as he jogged through tall grass late at night as he closed his eyes, feeling the wind against his skin and the moon light shining down at him and Lotor.
"Wait for a moment lance," Lotor smiled trying to reach for his hand but lance smiled smugly and twisted away before he was grabbed with a wild laugh into the night.
"Love I thought this was going to be romantic," Lotor called as he no longer could see lance within the grass or the night.
"But I wanna have fun," Lance wrapped his arms around his shoulders from behind with a playful smile.
Lance was about to run off again to play around but Lotor grabbed his hand to make him stay. Lance turned back to him about to whine and complain but saw Lotor on one knee looking up at him holding his hand.
"Wh-What?" Lance covered his mouth with wide eyes.
"Mind if I try making it more romantic then?" Lotor smiled nervously up at him.
"Lance Alforson, would you do the honors... and be my husband, my love, to let me cherish and always come back to you as long as I live?" Lotor breathed kissing his knuckles.
"Yes... I will," Lance smiled with tears in his eyes as he helped Lotor up to his feet. Lotor let out a shaky breath with a laugh as he cupped lances cheek and captured his lips.
"I love you," Lance wrapped his arms around his neck as he cried softly kissing him again.
"I want to spend forever with you," he whispered against his lips.
"I will always make that wish become reality my love," Lotor smiled kissing him again and again as they fell backward into the grass laughing.
Lance woke up with a gasp as blinding light made his head hurt above. For a moment he thought it was the sun but as his vision cleared he saw he was still in that white room with a mirror on the other side and the door next to him.
Lance covered his mouth with a heavy sob as he shook his head side to side crying harder as he curled up in a ball against the wall.
"No no no no no no no," he sobbed into his hands.
"God dammit!" Lance screamed at the top of his lungs slamming his fist against the floor.
"Hey hey! What the hells going on?" Veronica ran in hearing his cries.
"Don't touch me you sick Fuck!" Lance shoved her back.
"It's your fault! It's your fucking fa-fault," he scattered to his feet as his body shook. He was so tired, so hungry, first thing in his stomach was the water Rachel got for him hours ago.
"You killed him," lances voice broke looking at Veronica as she was on the floor bewildered.
"Lance..." she looked at him concerned slowly getting up.
"Do you even understand what you did...?" He covered his mouth crying against his hand.
"I'm sorry," Veronica whispered.
"No your not, you didn't see him, you didn't see us, you don't get to say sorry when you don't even know his name," Lance snarled.
"Rachel told me the plan, I'm for it, and for what it's worth, I strongly believe in family," Veronica sighed looking at him sadly.
"Harpers going first, then Plaxum, tomorrow all of you will be going home, even you" Veronica nodded sitting down.
"It seems to easy," Lance glared with shaky hands.
"Only my family gets masks, I'm letting a gas leak throughout the area that'll kill the savages and get your rabids out," she explained.
"First of all, we're warriors, those things are rabid creatures, they can't be killed unless you cut their heads off, an arrow to their brain does nothing," lance sat down tiredly.
"I'm using Vasovagal syncope, it'll make civilians pass out, with those things being what they are, it may kill them if we're lucky otherwise they're out of the way," Veronica slipped him some paper showing him the blue prints.
"I can't read this," Lance frowned.
"Why?" Veronica made a face.
"It's in a language I don't understand,"
"You speak English fine? But you cant read it?" She blinked surprised.
"We don't exactly have time to read, we recognize symbols," lance said flatly.
"So with the escape, your knocking everyone out?" He got back to the point.
"Yes, So your staying here in case iverson wants to try taking you to the arena again, rest up and eat a little, I'll leave this apple here and water," Veronica set a red apple on the table as well as a water bottle.
"I can't sleep," lance closed his eyes. Veronica looked at him sadly and grabbed his hand gently ignoring him flinching.
"I know it's hard, I lost my girlfriend a while ago to toxin gas in the engine room, no one knew of us, it was hard to grieve for her," Veronica smiled gently and lance looked at her surprised.
"But it gets better, I promise that," she stood up and left the room.
Lance bowed his head down closing his eyes as he didn't know what he was doing, this didn't feel like helping, but Harper gets out today, he could warm the others of them, get medical sets ready since there'll be a lot of them. They'll be going home.
Lance sighed resting his head down on the table on his bare arms. He was going to have to only do funerals when he got home. To announce the brave warriors that they lost, to say good bye to old friends... to his love...
"I'm so sorry Lotor," he whispered.
——
Lotor laid on the bed as Allura was stitching up his side as she looked almost as she did the time lance was taken last time. He control his breathing ignoring the sharp pain of the needle.
"Your going to be an uncle," Allura said softly making Lotor raise an eye brow.
"I am an only child," he said flatly.
"But your my brother in law, or at least going to be, your part of our family," she smirked and Lotors eyes widen finally understanding.
"Your pregnant?" He sat up but cried out with the stitching as Allura pushed him back down.
"You stupid bastard, you ruined my work," Allura smacked his shoulder seeing he was bleeding again.
"But yes I am, Matt and I are.. are going to try a relationship as well," she sighed blushing softly grabbing herbs to disinfect the wound again.
"And you have lance so much trouble about protection," Lotor smiled up at her.
"Shut it you," Allura laughed shaking her head.
"Do you have a name?" Lotor asked softly.
"I don't even know what I'm having," she snorted.
"What would you want?" Lotor asked smirking.
"I... I'm not sure completely, a girl would be wonderful to have, a strong woman to become, I know she would be beautiful, but a boy, well men in this family have a tendency to give up everything to protect those they love," Allura smiled.
"With a boy I know he'd be great as well, like his father, and my father, even like lance, I'm happy either way," she hummed as Lotor propped himself on his elbows.
"Lance is going to be ecstatic to hear he'll have a niece or nephew, he feared none of us would have children to continue your family line," Lotor nodded.
"You and lance want a family?" Allura asked him slowly.
"We'd both love to be parents one day, advantage we have we get to pick when," he winked at her and Allura smacked his shoulder as Lotor laughed to himself but it didn't last long.
He feared where lance could be, as his ribs where broken and had a major concussion, the wound on his side didn't held either, but whatever lance was doing must be far worst, he was still down there.
"We're getting him back Lotor, we've done it once we'll do it again," Allura read his facials.
"Last time we gained allies who happened to be luck, such things are rare to happen again," Lotor sighed laying back down.
"For all lance knows is that I am dead," he felt his chest tighten. Oh god... lance...
"Well your not, so when we get him back he gets to have a wedding still and be an uncle," Allura said determined as she felt her own fear for her brother.
"Yea... we'll get him back... we always do,"
