Chapter 18: Week Complete; Successful

{Tyler's Suicide; the reason, one, he was already clearly depressed and masked it with smiles. After losing the friends around him and being pressured to win by his over-pressing family, he lost his interest in (M/n) over time and only saw him as a rival.
The night of his Suicide, Tyler changed into the suit that (M/n) gave him to live on last happy moments before he died. That's all I can say without spoiling anything!}

===================

(M/n) sighed tiredly, his anxiety after telling Chat about the reason for his scars was spiking through the roof. He didn't have the heart to tell the blond that he was constantly being reminded of Tyler's warmth by the Hero's bright smile.

The (h/c)-haired teen slowly made his way to the bakery, he needed to get his mind off of both Blonds. Of course, his trauma didn't magically get better or fade away after telling the cat-themed hero. Chat deserved to know who Tyler was. In all Honesty, Chat had broke through some of his weaker walls around his heart.

As the boy walked, his mind drifted off to the days he used to play the piano. April was already right around the corner, the school quarter was about to end and graduation was going to be in just a year's reach.

(M/n) smiled at the thought of his friends but the smile faded once more when the image of Tyler's lifeless body flashed before his eyes once again.

Do I deserve to be this happy?

(M/n) stopped walking, pausing just in time as the crossing sign flashed a bright red.

Do I...? After letting him die..?

Suddenly he was shoved out of his thoughts when a pair of arms wrapped around his torso.

Gasping out of surprise he whipped his body around to face the blonde, Rose, who hugged him tightly with a soft blush dusting over her cheeks.

(M/n) wanted to smile back and hug his friend but hesitated. Biting his bottom lip, he sighed once again. (M/n) gently pushed her back by her shoulders and created the normal distance that was always between them. Juleka appeared from behind some random citizens and huffed tenderly once she had made it over to the two.

"Rose! Don't just sneak up on him like that!" Juleka scolded. Her usually quiet voice was only a tad bit louder. The excited blonde-haired girl only smiled widely and laughed.

"Sorry! Anyways, where's Nathaniel? Wasn't he with you?" Rose's question made the taller teen of the two girls perk up, Juleka immediately turned around, searching around desperately.

"Did I leave him behind...?" The purple-haired girl picked at her painted nails anxiously as she looked around more for the red-haired artistic boy. (M/n), being much taller than the two girls, looked above some of the crowd of waiting people. He fiddled with his fingers as he searched more, catching a glimpse of the teen's red hair from the corner of his eye.

"Ah..I found him," (M/n) muttered quietly. He grabbed a hold of Rose's hand, who grabbed Juleka's, and began to lead them towards the nervous boy who was most-likely looking for them as well.

Nathaniel glanced over towards the teen approaching teens, his eyes lighting up when he caught sight of the tall teenager. "(M/n)?" the crimson-haired teen voiced, quickly making his way over to the three.

"Isn't (M/n) amazing?! He found you right away!" Rose praised with a wide smile. The blonde-haired girl and her shy friend talked among themselves as the two boys held eye contact for a few minutes before (M/n) sighed and bowed his head slightly.

"I was on my way to the Bakery. I'll be going now," (M/n)'s brisk greeting and goodbye gave Nathaniel an odd sense of sadness as he unconsciously reached out and grabbed the hem of the taller teen's long-sleeved shirt.

"Wait!" He called out soon after, blushing slightly as he let go of (M/n)'s shirt. Rose intervened, noticing the crimson-haired teen's panic, "You should hang out with us!" the blonde smiled widely, saving him from the growing pit of despair in his stomach. (M/n)'s eyes flickered between the two as he adjusted his glasses.

The corners of his lips twitched up but quickly twitched back down before the three could notice the change. He glanced off to the side, thinking to himself before nodding with a raspy hum.

"Let's go to the bakery..." he muttered loud enough for the three to hear. Rose giggled in response, "You really like it at the Bakery, don't you?" She was answered with a soft and short grunt. With that, the group continued onward the way that (M/n) was heading originally, taking a few shortcuts that (M/n) used to get there quicker if he didn't want to run into Adrien at the park.

Nathaniel's eyes trailed over (M/n)'s broad shoulders and cowardly looking frame. He never thought of the boy as weak, but the stature of the tall teen was much..less intimidating than he could be if he tried hard enough.

The crimson-haired teen trailed in the back with Juleka next to him. The two quiet teens stared ahead of them, watching the blonde and tall (h/c)-haired teens. "Um..Rose, Rose really likes hanging out with (M/n), huh?" Nathaniel started out awkwardly. Juleka spared him a quick glance before nodding with a small smile.

"Yeah, when (M/n) got sick, Rose cried out of surprise..." Juleka sighed at the memory, her shy muttering was a little louder that way Nathaniel wouldn't have to ask her to repeat what she said. To that, Nathaniel laughed and stuffed his hands into his pockets. "She is something else..." he murmured. Juleka nodded once again.

They stayed in a comfortable silence, walking briskly down the sidewalk although a little slower than they usually do in the school hallways, due to (M/n)'s naturally slow pace.

The tall teen noticed the absence of the two quiet teenagers, turning his head to look over his shoulder he made eye contact with the crimson-haired teen once again and gave him a minuscule grin. Once he turned back around, Rose grabbed his attention once more about something along the lines of "We should ask Marinette to make cookies for the class again, we could help!"

In a split second, Nathaniel almost caught the sad expression that (M/n) wore right after smiling at him.

But that quickly left his mind as he remembered all the drawings that he made of (M/n) while he was gone for being sick in class. And because of that, a chain reaction occurred as his face blew up in a bright pink blush starting from his neck, startling the girl beside him.

I really do like him, don't I?

=================

Adrien was pacing around in his room.

"He told me who Tyler was, told me about how he got into a car accident, and the fact about him not being able to move his arm correctly---Does this mean that he trusts me--well, Chat Noir?!" He rambled. Plagg, who was clearly uninterested, laughed at his user's demise, huffing in amusement.

"Who knows, kid, I didn't hear a thing while you were Chat Noir. But let things work themselves out. Your bad lick will catch up sooner or later," the black cat kwami smirked, swallowing a large block of his beautiful cheese.

Adrien threw the kwami an offended look before sighing deeply and plopping down on the white sofa in the center of his room. His room was still the same, two levels and a bunch of things he never even touched inside of it.

"I hope you're right, plagg..." he mumbled, although it was mostly to himself.

Plagg frowned and floated over to where Adrien was laying, the blond model had his arms covering his face as he kicked his legs up on the arm rest dramatically.

The kwami rolled his feline-like green eyes, "Listen, Kid, I know that things seem confusing now, but if this guy--"

"(M/n)," Adrien interrupted.

"(M/n)," Plagg repeats a little more annoyed than before, "If (M/n) exposed something so traumatic in his life, to you, of all people," Plagg ignored the offended glare that Adrien gave him. "He must've trusted you enough to do so. Let it play out and go with the flow," Plagg's advise seemed to have calmed Adrien down as he thought about the magical fairy's words carefully.

"Now," Plagg starts again, grabbing a hold of Adrien's attention, "Get me more cheese."

"You're a pig..."

"Cat, actually."

Plagg smirked as he watched the blond get up reluctantly to grab his desired food.

Why are you so obsessed with this kid anyway...?

---

The day seemed to come to an end rather quickly, Rose and Juleka had gone home after bidding the two boys a...very very hesitant goodbye. (M/n) had grabbed one of his hoodies from the stash of clothes he left in Marinette's room(he likes to keep some of his clothes in the places he stays the most just in case he ruins the ones he was wearing before, it was easier and allowed him more comfort than borrowing other people's clothes).

Nathaniel walked slowly to match (M/n)'s pace. The nights began to drag out longer, it took longer for the sun to set as Summer began to approach, yet, much like this night, the air was chilly and the sound of the late night Jazz clubs were faint in the background.

"Thanks..." Nathaniel spoke up, (M/n) snapped out of his daze and turned to face the boy in confusion, "For hanging out with us! I mean, It made Rose really happy--" Nathaniel was cut off by the speckled teen.

"Did it not make you happy?" the (h/c)-haired teen teased, smirking when the crimson-haired teen gaped at him.

"Of course it did! I--uh, um, I mean..." he trailed off, he blushed at his ever growing embarrassment, it only added as he struggled to find the right words to say. But it only go worse when he tripped over his loose shoelaces and a small crack in the concrete.

Gasping with a small yelp escaping from his throat involuntarily, he prepared to eat the concrete as his body fell forward. But the impact never came as (M/n) caught a hold of his waist with his right arm and pulled him back into his chest.

"..Are you alright...?" the vibrations of the taller teen's voice left goosebumps on Nathaniel's arms and legs, he stuttered over his breath and choked on his words as he pushed himself away from the speckled (h/c)-haired pianist.

"y-Yeah..Yeah I'm okay, Thanks..for um, thanks for catching me! I should..get going," Nathaniel struggled to talk normally as he tried to regulate his heart beat(which was on the verge of beating right out of his chest. "My Parents are probably wondering where I am..." Nathaniel missed the way (M/n)'s expression fell, but (M/n) let out a deep hum and basked in the temporary warmth of Nathaniel's body.

After saying their goodbyes, (M/n) started to make his way to the 'Pont des Arts' he liked this bridge a lot. Sighing at the satisfying feeling of the breeze against his skin and the relaxing feeling of it massaging through his hair.

The street lamps flicked on, the bright moon cascading down onto his skin. He welcomed the sensation. That was until ta familiar ring of a bell, the irregular course of wind behind him shifting, and radiating warm he had grown all too used to.

"You come here often~?" Chat purrs with his wide smirk plastered onto his face. (M/n) resisted the urge to roll his eyes.

"Save the lines for Ladybug, Cat boy..." The (h/c)-haired teen leaned back to evade the slap coming for his right arm. Chat huffed and let his back rest on the bridge's railing.

"Ladybug never responds to my confessions anyway, how sad~, right?" Chat lamented, shedding a few fake tears as he sent the taller teen another smirk.

"Right...Rose told me that you flirt with her int he middle of battle. It's no wonder why she doesn't respond." (M/n)'s sudden input made the blond hero purse his lips in thought.

"Hey," Chat starts, his tone more serious than before, this grabbed (M/n)'s attention as he grunted in response, "Am I your friend now? I mean, Strangers, wouldn't just share their life stories to one another...right?" Chat spoke at a rapid pace, (M/n) paused in thought.

Thinking deeply before sighing for the thousandth time that day and turning to face the blond fully. The Cat-themed hero noticed the sudden change and turned towards him as well. The taller teen let his body relax and he reached out his trembling left hand with a slight wince to show how serious he was about this.

"I guess you won the bet, Chat Noir." (M/) let a natural grin form on his lips, grabbing a hold of Chat's right hand before shaking it curtly and letting his left hand drop to his side once again in relief.

Chat watched with wide eyes and his mouth gaped open as he tried to grip the situation. When it finally clicked, he cheered loudly and wrapped his arms around the (H/c)-haired teen, laughing in relief.

What Plagg said about letting it flow was right, like usual.

(M/n) stood there awkwardly, not making any moves to hug back.

"I'm so happy..." Chat mumbled in the crook of (M/n)'s neck.

But (M/n) would never be prepared for what was about to come next.
