"What!!! Did you just say I'm adopted!!!! that can't be right. Why are you only telling me this now! "

'Pheonix honey calm down and let me explain"

"Your father and I had just got back from our honeymoon in Italy when we found you on our doorstep with two notes, one for you and one for us. the one for us told us your name and your birthday and to make sure you stayed away from your twin sister Ivy."

"Wait I have a twin sister!"

"yes, you are not identical of course. I believe she is this friend you were just talking about. Her name was Ivy Darkraven right?"

"yeah. Does that mean she is my sister."

"yes, it does. we don't know why you had to stay away from her but we believe it is in the note left for you. "

My Dearest Pheonix, you are probably very confused right now but I hope this letter answers all your questions. I know you have many so I will start from the beginning. 

The day you and Ivy were born was the best day of my life. You were a blessing, the both of you, or so I thought. A day after you were born, you both started displaying strange abilities. Ivy's eyes would sparkle and whoever looked into them was brainwashed. She was able to make them do the darkest things possible. The first person she brainwashed hung herself. after I noticed what she was doing, I took her to my good friend Cecelia. cecelia was the best witch I knew and I was sure she would have the answer, which she did.

Both of you are part of a very ancient prophecy. This prophecy states that two twins would be born, one good, the other evil. the evil one will begin to hypnotize people when they look into her eyes. as she gets older she will be able to control their actions from her own body. when her powers are complete she will be able to completely possess people and make them do terrible things. when she releases them from her compulsion or possession they will not remember anything. the only person who can stop her in her evil doings is the good twin who has the power to release people from her spell and vanquish her from this world completely.
