Chapter Four 

you know i would love to but 

3rd person pov

Finally the two weeks of detention that they had to serve was finally over and they were done with it. Rocky hated detention but not as much as she hated juvie. She walked out of the room with the others as they walked out and let out breaths of fresh air for the first time in a while.

"thank god that is over" rocky stated and they all nodded in agreement before mouse spoke up and they all turned to her 

"so what happens now?" she asked them and rocky looked at her sister and then at noa. 

"what do you mean?" faran asked the girl 

"are you asking about A, mouse?" imogen asked her and rocky turned to the girl 

"i think hes moved on mouse" she told her and then mouse questioned them about their moms and them but they didn't know what to say because the truth is that they didn't know. Rocky waited for her sisters with the others and then they all left as they went home. She sat in the kitchen with imogen and tabby as their mother told them that someone put an offer on the house and rocky felt bad for imogen but she knew that this was a good thing. 

 that was on wednesday and now it was friday. 

Rocky sat in her class with her hair pulled up as she did all of the work, she was nothing if not a math genius and she made that known. She was finally getting back into the groove of her life and she had never felt so good. She did all of her work and she was proud of herself when she turned it in and she watched her grades start to go up and become better. She had never been so proud of herself before and it felt good. 

So she did everything that she needed to do and she finally finished it all, the rest of the week she was able to focus on herself and her work and making sure that her life was finally back in her hands and she heard from the others around that time too. Faran got her spot back, noa was doing track again, mouse was figuring things out, imogen was trying to fight off buyers for her house and tabby? well tabby was filming a movie for her class and so here they were. 

Rocky sat next to tabby as she asked the girls about who would be the female star of her movie, rocky knew that imogen wouldn't do it, neither would mouse so it was up to faran, noa and rocly. 

"noa!" tabby said and they all turned to the girl 

"when and where are you filming?" noa asked her 

"the boys locker room, its part of my concept. we're gonna have to do it at night and break in" Tabby said and Rocky turned to noa and they both seethed through their teeth 

"count me out, a little b&e right before getting my monitor off?" she asked and tabby turned to her sister with wide eyes and a smile on her face that made rocky want to say yes but she knew that she couldn't say yes. Her mother would kill her if she found out that rocky was breaking and entering, i mean she lit the guys house on fire from the inside... that was breaking and entering

"tabs, you know i would love to but mom would kill me and you if we got caught, hard pass" she told the girl and tabby nodded as she turned to faran and faran agreed before they figured out who the guy was and they all had the perfect candidate. Greg, he was stupid and pretty and he was comfortable in his own skin so that was their choice, greg. It had to be greg. 

so then for the next few days they all went about everything normally, until wednesday night where they all met up at imogens old house and they sat in a circle around the ouija board that they had set up. If rocky was honest she hated the idea but she knew that it was what imogen needed to move on and they all needed to support her through it

"i guess i'll start. We're gathered here to make contact with the spirit of davie lee adams, my mom" imogen said and they all rested two fingers on the pentacle as imogen started to talk to her and they all watched closely 

"mom, its me, imogen. I guess what i really want to know is are you okay? or at peace?" she asked and it moved over to the yes as they looked at it. 

"mom, what happened to you? did you... did you die... alone? or is there someone else with you? did it have something to do with angela waters? please. i need to know. there has to be an explanation. why would you leave me? if you really did kill yourself out of guilt, then you had to have known that i'd be the one to find you in the tub and deal with all this bullshit. Alone. seriously? you have nothing to say? after everything you have put me through, you abandoned me. I have no one and nothing. say something" she begged and they all watched her, rocky held noa and tabbys hand as they took in a breath and they watched her 

"you know what, mom? fuck you" she yelled out to the women and they all watched. Rocky rested her head against noa as they all decided to leave the house together after telling the girl that she had them and they wouldn't leave her. They all hugged the girl and then left the house with a new sense of being. 

Then they all separated and went to their own homes, rocky had to go to school the next day and they all did, she went on her way and she did everything by herself. Tabby and Faran had each other, mouse had her boyfriend, noa had shawn, imogen was working on fixing up the house and rocky was alone. Like always and maybe it wasn't such a bad thing but she was gonna find out how bad it was. 

the next day, they all went to school and during lunch they sat together when noa walked in and told them that A was back because marjorie olivar had done something to angela waters and they all thought the same thing

what the hell had their mothers done to angela waters?
