Chapter Fourteen 

we were dating 

3rd person pov

the group of girls left Rose E. Ricottas and went to pinball pizza where they sat in their usual corner and they talked about what had happened.

"bloody rose is real. i saw her. she stalked me in this fucked up game of hide and seek" mouse told them 

"okay so, either rose waters is alive in millwood fucking with us or.." noa said and rocky started off the end of her sentence 

"or shes dead and its some sick fuck dressed like rose trying to mess up with us" Rocky said and they all sighed 

"either way, it sounds like shes a skinny old bitch so let her come for me and ill kiss her ass" faran said and rocky smiled at the girl and then she let out a chuckle 

"i like the enthusiasm but clearly if shes insane enough to light a place on fire with mouse in it, shes insane enough to do anything else. we have to go about this differently than A. What happened when you got there, mouse?" rocky asked the girl 

"there was a demented note. this is your birthday test, a final girl must escape any death trap, you hide, i seek" mouse told them and they all looked at each other

"technically speaking, we're all final girls" tabby said 

"which means one of us could be next" imogen spoke 

"this is so fucked up, what are we supposed to do?" noa asked and they all looked at each other as imogen spoke up 

"i say we make a pact. no one answers the phone" imogen said 

"uh-huh. im in the best shape of my damn life. i'll take this bitch down myself" faran said 

"calm down, million dollar baby" tabby said and the next thing they knew imogen was calling doctor sullivans number and she left a voicemail for the women for them to be able to meet her and talk about what was happening. They all soon went home the next day, on sunday they all sat in the kitchen of tabby and rockys kitchen when the phone rang and they answered it 

they soon found out that doctor sullivan had an accident and that she was at the hospital. They knew it was bloody rose and they knew that she did it to her. Noa and rocky made eye contact because they realized that if they were going to die that they needed to be honest about what happened between them in juvie. 

Then they all separated to go to work yet again, only to meet up that night out of imogens work as they sat and talked about what imogen had found out from her meeting with doctor sullivan in the hospital and they all held their breath. 

Noa and rocky knew that this would be the best time to tell them about what happened between them and probably the only time they would be able to tell them without shit going heywire and them never getting a chance to tell them and so they did. 

"guys i know that all of this shit is happening but we have to tell you something" noa said and rocky turned to the girl. She reached out and held the girls hand as they looked at the ground and nodded 

"we know that you guys think something happened between us in juvie and the truth is... it did. we were dating while we were in juvie together" rocky said and tabby stared at her in shock as she made eye contact with the other girls 

"im sorry, you two? were together in juvie? and you didn't tell us about it when this whole thing started?" faran asked and rocky sighed as she looked down and nodded 

"we didn't know how to and there never felt like a good enough time to say hey so we know each other and we were actually together before all of this shit happened. please don't hate us for not telling you guys, we just didn't know how" noa said and rocky turned to tabby 

"are you mad at us?" rocky asked 

"no oh my god rocky of course not, we get it the whole never having the time but this could be apart of the whole thing. It probably isn't but if the person knows, they could be mad and want revenge because you chose each other and not them" imogen told her and mouse nodded 

"we get why you hid it but we need to make sure that this isn't why this person is going after you guys" mouse said and faran nodded her head 

"honestly, i always knew there was something going on between you two. the slight touches, the hand holding, the nicknames, the idea that whenever you talked about juvie you looked at each other, all of it was right there and we couldn't even connect the dots" faran said and tabby tilted her head 

"huh... farans right, we're sort of blind" tabby said and they all laughed as rocky nudged her sister and smiled at noa 

"so what happens now? are you two together...? or" Imogen asked and rocky turned to her noa who looked at the ground and then sighed 

"im still with shawn and i have to find a way to break up with him, i haven't been truly happy with him in a while and i can't continue to lead him on but i'm not a cheater" noa said and rocky spoke up 

"and im not a homewreaker, shawn isn't a bad guy either, im sure he'll be understanding to it all" rocky told noa who nodded her head in agreement and the others did too 

"so when you do break up with him though...?" faran asked and noa laughed with a smile as she nudged rocky and then looked at the ground 

"we'll see, i don't know just yet and jumping right into another relationship after i just got out of one doesn't seem the smartest" noa said and rocky nodded 

"noas right, we don't know whats gonna happen and thats why we had to tell you. i don't wanna die and not tell you guys this, its too personal and its one of the biggest secrets ive ever truly kept and i hated hiding it from you guys. I really did" rocky said and they all hugged the two girls and sighed 

"its okay, at least we know now, no more secrets though... got it?" tabby asked and rocky nodded her head 

"got it" she told the girls and they all smiled at each other. even with all the shit going on, they still managed to smile and hug because thats who they were and thats who they were going to continue to be but at least the truth was finally out there.
