Chapter Thirteen 

this wasn't over at all

3rd person pov

The next day, she woke up and she sat up in bed as she read a text in the group chat that was mouse telling them to meet for an emergency meeting. They all agreed and they showed up to the school later that day, they sat in the library together. Noa and Rockys ankles were connected to each other because lately, they had felt the need to touch each other whenever they could. 

"last night, i got a call from an unknown number. When I didn't answer, a video chat came up on spookyspaghetti and.." she led off 

"you just couldn't help yourself?" noa asked 

"the invitation was from someone claiming to be bloody rose and whoever it was, threatened me" Mouse said and they all admitted that they had gotten calls from unknown numbers the night before too..

"if it helps, i don't think it's one of our established supervillains. i did recon on spookyspaghetti and our phone numbers were posted on this site. our new, private numbers. who would've or could've leaked our number? I mean, I only gave mine to my moms, and they're on a disney dream cruise with basically no internet" Mouse spoke 

"i gave mine to my dad but he lives next to quarry, with basically no internet" Imogen said 

"i gave mine to my new boss who happens to be coach rhodes and hes a little too old for spookyspaghetti, i think" Faran said 

"i havent gave mine to anyone" noa said 

"me neither" rocky stated and they all talked about it and then mouse told them about her birthday on saturday. They all agreed that maybe there shouldn't be a party at the moment due to everything that was happening. Mouse then left and they all went to the bathroom as they talked about her birthday party that they were going to have on saturday for mouse 

"i can't help but feel bad for lying to her ya know" rocky told them and they all nodded in agreement but they knew this was a good thing so they didn't feel bad about it, or at least not terribly bad. They all soon left the bathroom and they went home. Tabby went to work, so did noa and did tabby. Rocky went to work too and faran did too. Rocky missed working, she leaned against the counter with a sigh as she stared at the ceiling and then she heard someone clear their throat and she lifted her head to be met with olivia and she smiled at the girl who smiled back 

"hi oli" she said to the girl and olivia smiled 

"hows life been? i heard about the shit thats been going on with you, are you okay?" she asked and rocky had to think for a second and she sighed as she shook her head and rested her head on her hand 

"not the best, i almost died and this guy could still be coming after us, im terrified for my life and i don't know what to do" she ranted to the girl and olivia smiled at the girl 

"i get it annie but you can't let it control you, obviously its shitty but you can't let it take you over"  Olivia told her and she nodded her head in agreement 

"its just hard for me ya know" she exclaimed and olivia reached over the counter as she grabbed her hand and smiled at her 

"im here for you rox, always" she told the girl and rocky realized what time it was so olivia left to go home. Rocky continued to do her work for the rest of the night and then when she went home, she fell asleep. She liked the summer and she liked the idea of being free from school and everything else. 

She knew about the party and she was excited but she hated hiding it from mouse, she wanted to celebrate the girl and she wanted to be there for the party and so she would be. She went to her boss and asked for the time off and since rocky had been working so much, they let her have the time off to be able to celebrate. 

This was when she went home and she decided to change for the party later that night, she knew that it was 80s theme and she wanted to be ready for it so she grabbed the first thing that she saw. She liked the idea of it so she got dressed in the retro outfits that her sister had bought for them and then they drove to the roller rink together. 

When they got there, imogen, tabby and rocky got out of the car together as they saw faran and noa coming over to them and they began to do the decorations for the party. They had two hours to make sure everything looked perfect and in their opinions it truly did. 

Finally they opened the place for the public and they began to skate around. Rocky held tabbys hand as they skated over to the dj to talk about the songs and when they were done, they went back to the girls 

"okay, we talked to the dj, and as soon as mouse walks in, shes gonna cut the music and we're all gonna jump out and say "surprise!" " Tabby said and rocky smiled 

"i cannot wait to see the look on her face, you don't think ash spilled the beans, right?" imogen asked 

"i hope not" rocky exclaimed

"hey bryant, where's henry?" noa asked 

"he couldn't make it, where's shawn?" faran asked 

"but look who did make it" imogen said and they turned to see kelly and greg walking in together. They smiled as they walked over to them and they hugged them greeting them in. They all talked before imogen rode off to talk to the guy from her work and they watched as she talked to them

"rox, can we talk?" noa asked and she turned to the girl with a smile and a nod

"when are we gonna tell the others about us?" rocky asked the girl and noa sighed as she ran a hand through her hair 

"i don't know, theres some shit going on with me and shawn right now and i think we need to break up until then i say we be friends and we tell the others" noa said and rocky nodded 

"yeah i think thats a good idea, we just need to find the time" rocky told the girl and then faran rounded up the girls as she called them over to talk 

"ash just called me, he said something weirds going on with mouse. apparently, her grandma dropped her off at Rose E. Ricottas but can't remember where it is" Faran said 

"wait that literally makes no sense. We're here. the surprise partys here" tabby said 

"yeah and what rose e. ricottas. i mean, didn't they all basically get torn down?" imogen asked 

"no actually, theres an old one on route 36, by the truck depot" rocky said 

"we'll text ash, tell him to meet us there" imogen said and they nodded as they all left the party together but not without telling the others where they were going. When they got there, it was on fire and they all stared at it before they saw mouse walking out and she had soot all over her 

"what happened?" ash asked 

"bloody rose. it started again" mouse said and they all looked at each other as they walked over and they hugged her close 

and it was clear that this wasn't over at all.
