Chapter One 

or I will hurt you

3rd person pov

Rocky laid in her bed late at night as she flipped through a good girls guide to murder, she had reread the book series a million times but it never got old to her. She knew the beginning middle and end which was enough for her. She didn't fall asleep that night at all. When her alarm clock went off at six am, she shot out of bed as she grabbed her clothes. She looked in the mirror and sighed as she ruffled her curls. She walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower making sure to not wash her hair as it wasn't her wash day yet. She was able to quickly get dressed and go downstairs where she was met with the eyes of her mother and sister

"good morning?" she asked and they smiled at her as she walked over and grabbed her box of cereal, she poured it out and ate it as fast as she could before she turned to her mom and sighed 

"hey im gonna be late tonight, brandon called out and i need to pick up his shift" she exclaimed and her mother nodded in understanding. Rocky smiled at the women, rocky had been working at the local bakery since she got out of juvie and she finally had freedom. Imogen walked downstairs and they all smiled at each other, Rocky grabbed her car keys and held them up 

"you guys need a ride?" she asked them and they turned to each other 

"we're actually gonna walk, you go ahead though rox" tabby said and rocky smiled at her sister as she nodded her head and she left them behind. She got into her car as she started it and she went to the school. She put her headphones in as she parked her car and she walked into the school, she saw karen at the front table and she looked at rocky. Rocky raised her eyebrows at the girl and karen sat back down at the table. 

"what i thought" rocky said and she walked off and away from the girl. She walked into her class and she sat down in her chair. She leaned back as she listened to the lesson. She hated the hour long lessons and she just wished that she could do something about it but she couldn't. She needed to go to school and she needed to do the lesson. She looked down as she got a text from a random number and she raised her eyebrows in confusion as she read it 

'does the jailbird have any free time for fun?' she read and she looked down at it as she scoffed. she turned her phone off and paid attention to the lesson in front of her. She finally got out of her class and she walked out of the room as she walked to her other class, the rest of the day went normally and then she had to go to work and she did just that. She left the school and went home to change into her uniform, then she left for work. When she got into work, she clocked in and she began to work on the drinks that came in 

"so no more community service then, haworthe?" she heard and she turned around to see olivia standing in front of her and she smiled at the girl who smiled back 

"nope, finished that about a month ago, now im just working, whats going on with you?" she asked the girl as she kept working on the drinks in front of her. She filled the drinks with the coffee and the lemonade and the other drinks that they had

"nothing really, schools been kicking my ass, i barely have any time off and when i do, i spend it doing homework and working on my college apps. have you applied to anywhere yet?" Olivia asked and Rocky shook her head 

"only a few places but theyre local, i don't want to go to far away from home" Rocky stated and Olivia nodded in understanding before olivia got a phone call and she had to leave the bakery to go to work. Rocky watched the girl leave and she smiled as she left. Finally around eight pm when they had sold out of everything, she shut down everything and they began the closing process. It only took about an hour and then she was on her way home. She drove by a car on the side of the road and she saw her sister with wes and she stopped her car. She walked over and knocked on the window interrupting their kiss 

"my car now" Rocky told her sister 

"rox, wait" tabby tried and rocky seethed between her teeth as she didn't even bother to look at wes, not once. If wes was honest, he was horrified of rocky and what she could do to him 

"don't tabitha, get in my car" she stated and tabby nodded as she climbed out of wes's car and got into rockys. Rocky turned her head and looked wes in the eyes and she stared at him with a scoff 

"you're so fucking lucky that i just got out of juvie because if not, i would be beating the shit out of you. She is a teenager wesley, you are a grown adult. Don't fucking try anything else or I will hurt you, got it?" she questioned and he nodded his head 

"got it" he told her and she nodded as she walked over to her car and she got into the drivers seat taking off with tabby staring at her. She looked at rocky and sighed 

"rocky, talk to me please" she said and rocky sighed 

"what were you thinking tabs? hes your boss, hes a grown man, youre seventeen and hes twenty-five. he knows better than that and im not gonna blame you because he should know better. But come on, seriously?" she asked the girl and tabby nodded. She had always hated being scolded by rocky, it meant something terrible because rocky was the trouble maker. Not her, they finally got to the house and parked. Rocky walked in before tabby and she sighed

"im going to bed, ill see you guys in the morning, love you" she called and she walked up the stairs to her room where she changed into her pajamas. She brushed her teeth and did everything she needed to do before she walked into her room and she finally fell asleep. The next day, she woke up, got dressed and she drove to school. She got through her whole day before she walked into the lunch room and she walked past noa and made eye contact with the girl, she smiled before she walked over and sat down with her sister. They sat together before they saw imogen walking into the lunch room and they turned to each other 

"are you fucking serious, karen?" she asked and they all watched the girl. Everyone in the room held their breath as they watched, rocky watched imogen and karen fight and imogen turned to everyone 

"well, im not going anywhere. in fact, im gonna be spirit queen just like my mom was" Imogen said and she announced her running for spirit queen and they all smiled. 

"if it means karen won't win, thank fuck" rocky said and tabby smiled before lunch ended and they all left. Rocky went to class and then she went home as she didn't work after school that day, she took the hours to work on her homework and anything that would help her with school. 

As she stayed in her room with her headphones in and her books spread out in front of her, she was almost glad that she didn't have to worry about the things she worried so much about when her life was harder before. The work she did before didn't matter so much. 

She fell asleep with her books around her and the next day, she woke up and went to school only to find out that she was being accused of going into the chemistry lab and lighting a few books on fire. She stared in shock as she thought of who could do this, this could send her back to juvie. Who hated her this much? she asked herself as she sent in the library with the others and they all made eye contact 

"this is such bullshit, we shouldn't be here, tabby" imogen said to the girl and tabby turned to her sister 

"rox, why are you here?" she asked the girl 

"someone lit the books on fire in the chemistry lab and theyre blaming it on me" she told the girl and tabby sighed before the girl at the end of the table spoke up 

"wait, are you two the ones who trashed karens stupid spirit queen posters?" she asked them 

"i truly wish we could take the credit but no. we didn't do it. karen trashed her own posters to frame us, she sent me a message in the posters. A message only i would understand. but it was her, trust" she said and rocky did trust the girl 

"i thought you two were tight" Noa said 

"no, that was last year. this year, she wants to annihilate me" imogen exclaimed 

"why?" 

"at first, it was because she thinks i kissed her boyfriend. Now, it is because everything i do enrages her" imogen said. Rocky listened to them as they all told each other what happened to them and she sighed 

"so we all agree that this shit happened to us because of karen?" rocky said and they all looked at each other, they had to something to get back at her and they needed to come up with a plan. and this was only the beginning
