The machine was working smoothly, exept Robbie and Melody had to float while they work. Gideon was reading a book while floating over the couch. I said: "Why do you have to float over the couch while not sitting on it?" Gideon said: "Didn't you look at your watch, Mabel?" Ford gave us all watches to check the time countdown of the portal, and I didn't check it. I looked at it and then I landed on the wooden floor. I said: "Ugh.... I should've stayed floating on mt bed." Gideon laughed and said: "You should've been more safer when it comes to portal time countdowns." I said: "Say.... Where's Dipper and Pacifica?" Gideon got up and we both went upstairs to find a mess with Dipper and Pacifica on the ground. Dipper said: "Sorry Mabel about the mess me and Paz created it all started like........

Flashback

"Paz, do you have any more glitter?" I said. Pacifica then said: "Here. This idea was perfect, Dip." I said: "Yeah! Making a family summer portrait for the others was a great idea for a present." We both laughed when our watches started making sounds. We both screamed then fell down to the ground. I mumbled: "Welp, I guess while we were floating while drawing, we had to get on top of the bed."

Flashback ended

... So yeah, that's what happened." Me and Gideon both laughed and I said: "Thanks for the drawing Dipper, but you should be more careful while floating like m- I mean like how Gideon is, I fell too." Dipper and Pacifica gigiled. We all worked toghether and clean the mess up. Dipper and Pacifica even finished their drawing. We all decided to go down to the basement to visit Ford. When we got down, we saw my parents standing right in front of us. My mom then said: "Where do you four think you're going? Let me guess, visiting Ford to see his dangerous experiments? He told us about the vending machine and his little 'work space' down in there. You all are not going in!" Dipper said: "But mom~ We all want to see if the portal is working well and show Ford this summer family picture!" He showed them the picture and dad asked me: "Mabel, did you ask him to add your rude rich friend of yours?" I said: "Look, Dipper and Pacifica made it for a suprise present for all of us! It doesn't matter who's in it and who should be left behind!" They grunted and I started to see a blue glow in Gideon's eyes. I said: "Mom, dad can we go to visit Ford now?" They both said no and I whispered at Gideon that he could use his ambulet now. Gideon was happy to agree and he levitated my parents and sat them down in the living room. We all ran to the vending machine and typed the code.

We went down the stairs and down the elevator. Ford was standing in front of the portal waiting for the countdown to reach zero. He said: "Ah, did anyone of you fell lately?" Me, Dipper and Pacifica said yes while Gideon said no. Ford gigiled and said: "Only 5 minutes and 12 seconds left and the portal will activate, oh no, RACE YOURSELVES!" We all floated and Dipper crashed at the ceiling. We all floated down and the portal was definitley getting stronger as the time was going down. I started seeing rainbows circling it, which Dipper is excited about. Dipper showed Ford the drawing and he loved it. The insides of the portal was a galaxy, I hope the place grunkle Stan is staying is safe. I feel like the place must be gigantic. Me, Dipper, Pacifica, Ford and finnaly Gideon fell down to the ground. We all felt hurt when gravity is back to normal. I could hear my parents screaming and a thump upstairs so me and the others went to the exit and said goodbye to Ford. I raced to the living room to find my angry parents on the floor. They were screaming at me for disobeying them but I mostly don't even care. My dad said to me: "We just want to protect you and Dipper, and now you two are with your dangerous uncle, down his work place, and working on a dangerous portal that can distroy the universe? I should ground you two!" Me and Dipper gasped but I said: "We were down there to help Ford check on it, and we didn't activate it for evil plans, we are doing this for our family!" My dad screamed: "Doing it to kill us?! I swear if I ever see you two hurt ever again, I'll have to ban you from doing that ever ever again." I almost even cried, I've never got screamed at before. I can still see a glow of blue in Gideon's eyes and his ambulet. He ended up lifting my parents and throw them into the couch. We checked our watches and It's already 1 minute and 45 seconds. We ran to the vending machine and quickly typed in the code, rsn down the stairs, down the elevator and ran to Ford.

We all floated in the air and the portal is already shooting lightning and I felt nervous. We all saw the countdown going down to 20 more seconds. Then we saw my parents already got down here, Ford told them the code, eventually. When the countdown reached to five, my parents pushed us but axcidentally pushed me and Gideon inside the portal. We both dropped down to an abyss of space and met some strange pirates on a ship, they said: "You two better give us some time gold or do you want to be a time shark's snack?" We both said that we didn't have any time gold or even actual money. They said: "Greedy ay? Liar! Time shark's snack it is!" I was sceared when Gideon used his ambulet on them. They said: "How did one of you squashtimebucklers have one of those? We've been serching for one of those for 10 billion lightyears!" We both smiled and Gideon floated them away. Then suddenly, in a blink of an eye, pink clouds are everywere and a giant axolotl that looks like it's magic. It said: "Hello there, I am the Axolotl, you two had defeated those pirate thieves that had been searching for power over 40000 centuries, only that ambulet you got there, Gideon, is the only thing left. You are not the only mind reader in these places. Anyways, you two are granted one question each, before I send you two home." We got our questions ready and Gideon asked first: "What do you know about Bill Cipher?"   We were confused, but we wrote it down in our notebooks anyways. I asked my question: "Is my uncle Stanley going to be okay?" The axolotl said: "Only time will tell. Go through this portal, it will take you back to Gravity Falls. Goodbye, I will be watching, through the sky, I'm a cosmc axolotl after all." We jumped through the portal and found ourselves back home. Ford ran to us and gave us a hug and then said: "I thought I've lost you two. There is someone that you want to meet."  He stepped aside and an old man that looked like Ford stepped in and said: "Hello, I'm Stanley. You two must be Mabel and Gideon. My brother told me your names." He mumbled the last part. I expected a small fight since Ford did pushed Stan in his portal years ago.  Dipper and Pacifica both ran and hugged me and Gideon very tightley. Dipper said: "We were so worried about you two! I mean, anything can happen in there! We're just so glad that you two are okay." The unfortunate part is that my mom said: "Mabel do you see why you two shouldn't go around Ford's inventions? You and your friend there that I don't like, fell inside it!" I said: "We fell inside it?! You two ppushed us in there!" Gideon nodded and my dad yelled: "WE PUSHED YOU TWO?! YOUR FRIEND PUSHED US TO THE COUCH! WE'RE EVEN, ALRIGHT?!" Gideon said: "It's not pushing, It's levitating. And pushing people into portals is more dangerous than levitating people to couches. We're lucky that we've defeated those time pirates. And we are glad to meet the cosmic axolotl to get us back home, he also granted us one question each so we both asked very responsible questions." My mom asked: "Like what?" I said: "We both got notes for Ford. Take Gideon's I didn't really catch up to the answer the axolotl gave us." Ford took Gideon's notes and he said: "Well done you two. Now, you children go upstairs, Melody will give you icecream sandwiches while I talk things out with Stanley and your parents, I'll be fine down here with them, don't worry." We all went upstairs. While I was eating my icecream sandwhich, I was still confused about what the axolotl said about Bill, Is it all true? Or is it just a lie? 

Hi guys! I got inspiration of the actual Gravity Falls book. (I didn't read it yet :( But maybe one for my birthday?) I made this one longer than 1600 words an It's glitching out! My mom's computer can't handle it, so as my dad's phone! Yeah I don't have a phone or computer or an ipad yet but I joined a competition (Actually it's tradition in my english school) Which first place is an ipad. And It's FINNALY SUMMER! But I still have summer school :(. Anyways, stay positive everyone!
