Double update! As promised! :D

"So... paint." Baekhyun muses to himself as he ransacks his supplies. Dang it. I'm out of red.
He sneaks a glance at the cabinet in the art room that he knew held paint. She did say I could take what I needed, provided that it wasn't a huge amount.
The brunet walks over and swings open the cabinet doors. Great! He lugs out the push dispenser of red paint and puts it on the counter. He grabs his paint tray and pumps a bit of the color into the first indent. Baekhyun goes back to his own supplies and puts the other two primary colors onto the tray, along with a glob of black and some white. This should be good. He gets some water from the tap and sets everything on a desk.
The brunet sits down in front of his canvas, almost giddy with anticipation. I've forgotten how much I've miss painting. He steadies his hand and picks up a thin brush, dips it in black paint, then begins to go over Chanyeol's tee. I'll just do the shirt today. He shakes his head. This is going to be a doozy.
Baekhyun carefully fills in the shadows of the shirt first, mixing in the faintest hints of dark blue. He adds in the highlights with a warm dark gray next, then blends them slightly to smooth out the rough edges.
The outline of the lettering comes next, and Baekhyun accents them with a light porcelain blue. He sighs in frustration when he steps back to looks at his work, spotting the unrealistic folding of the lettering. He goes back in and adds a bit of pencil graphite gray to the shadows. A little bit of blending later and the brunet nods in approval. Better.

Chanyeol dashes down the court, eyes trained on his teammate with the ball. "Pass!" The orange ball comes hurling in his direction. He catches the basketball and swings it up towards the net, letting momentum carry him forwards. The ball rebounds off the backboard and drops through the net without interference.
"Nice shot!" Sehun, the player who passed the giant the ball, gives him a high five.
"Good going!" Jongin runs over and pats his best friend on the back. "Get a drink real quick."
Chanyeol jogs over to the sidelines and grabs his water bottle, taking a swig of the cold fluid. He turns around and runs back. The whistle sounds, but before he do anything, the ball is already flying towards his team's net, hitting the inside of the rim and deflecting out.
Sehun, the team's best rebounder, nabs the ball, turns around, and sprints down the court, tossing the basketball to Luhan halfway through. The doe-eyed point guard dribbles to the three point arc before being stopped by Yifan. Luhan easily sidesteps the center and dashes to the goal. Just before he's about to take off for a layup, the boy is knocked to the ground by Jongdae. The ball slips out of his hand and rolls out of bounds.
Tweet! Coach blows his whistle as Sehun helps the point guard, who was also his boyfriend, up. "Everyone okay?"
Jongdae walks over to his teammate and rubs the point guard's shoulder. "Sorry about that. I got a bit carried away."
Luhan holds up a thumbs up. "I'm good." He turns around. "Free throws?"
Their coach hold up two fingers. "Two."
Luhan jogs to the free throw line. Sehun and Jongin join him in their positions. Zitao and the giant step out of the arc as Yifan, Jongdae, Yixing, and Minseok step in. Junmyeon stays out.
Their coach bounce-passes Luhan the ball. "Relax on the first one."
Luhan dribbles the ball in place thrice. He crouches down, looks at the net, then tosses the ball up, his wrists curving over in a well practiced motion. The ball arcs its way toward the net, spinning backwards.
Swish!
Thunk!
The coach picks up the ball. "Plus one for the red team." Luhan tugs proudly at the red belt around his waist. "One shot," the coach continues, "on the release." He bounces the ball to Luhan.
Luhan squares his shoulders, bounces the ball once, then shoots. Chanyeol dashes to the left side, noticing that the point guard put more weight to the left than he was supposed to.
The giant's prediction comes true, and the ball barely misses the left side of the rim, deflecting of the metal ring and straight into Chanyeol's hands. The giant whips around, puts the ball to the ground, and dribbles down the court.
Before Chanyeol can even get inside the three point arc, he gets cut off by Junmyeon, who slides in front of him and blocks his vision with his waving hands. On instinct, Chanyeol pivots around, only to be met with a sweaty Jongdae. Now what?
He hears the shuffling of feet as his teammates try to get into a open position. It's not going to work. Chanyeol takes a glimpse at the net. Maybe? Not giving himself a chance to rethink, Chanyeol lines up the shot the best he can and lets the ball fly.
The basketball hits the inside of the net, swinging the rope sideways before dropping to the ground. Junmyeon and Jongdae pat him on the back.
Bzzz!
"That's game! Red team wins!" The coach hollers, "Good job everyone!"
The entire basketball team huddles up, and the coach gives a few pointers and words of encouragement. "Go change and shower!" The ten athletes run to the locker room after tossing back their belts.
Chanyeol walks out of the locker room, his hair still damp from the shower. He shakes his head, letting the droplets fly. Eh.
Jongin comes up behind him, his eyes fixed on his phone, smiling at the screen.
Chanyeol looks at his best friend. "What's up? You seem happy."
"Kyungsoo invited me out for coffee!" Jongin clutches his phone happily.
One thing led to another, and Chanyeol suddenly found himself thinking about Baekhyun. His teasing smile, the way his eyes would always crinkle in the corners when he was laughing; his soft, silky hair that framed his face perfectly. No! What am I doing? The giant shakes his head, throughly annoyed.
"What's wrong?" Jongin's voice breaks into his thoughts.
"Nothing."
His best friend shakes his head, unconvinced. "If you say so." He knew better than to push the topic further. "Look, I've got to go. See you tomorrow!" He jogs away with a wave.
Chanyeol hears laughter behind him, and looks over to see Sehun and Luhan, gym bags on their shoulders and fingers intertwined. Luhan was kind of leaning on Sehun's shoulder, letting his boyfriend support some of his weight. The two were having a funny conversation, and Sehun tilts his head to kiss Luhan on the cheek.
Why do I seem so miserable compared to my friends?
"Hey Luhan! Are you feeling better?"
"Not really." Luhan places a hand on his rib. "I guess the pain only started to kick in after I calmed down."
Sehun rubs his boyfriend's shoulder soothingly. "You'll be fine."
"I know that! I'm not helpless, you goon!" Luhan turns around quickly and intentionally whacks his boyfriend with his gym bag.
"Ouch!" Sehun rubs his arm, a smile still on his face. "What do you have in there? Rocks?"
"No. It's my basketball shoes." Luhan musses up his boyfriend's hair, then dashes away.
"Yah! Bambi! Get back here!" Sehun sprints after the doe-eyed boy.
"Catch me if you can!" Luhan yells across the open space. He pushes open the door and runs outside.
Sehun dashes after him.
Chanyeol shakes his head, amused. Since when was Sehun ever faster than Luhan? The giant knew that the doe-eyed boy would easily be able to out run his boyfriend.
The rest of the basketball team comes out in pairs, chatting with someone. Chanyeol tags behind the group, adding in a few words here and there, but never keeping conversation.
The giant, for once, felt like the ugly duckling amongst an flock of swans.
