Part 4
Sunggyu POV
I was surprised that Myungsoo still had so much energy after the concert, but I could tell he liked that photographer. They really seemed to hit it off. It's too bad we aren't staying in New York longer.
When we all got back to the hotel, we immediately crashed. We were so exhausted, that we even slept in. We had all just barely woken up when Myungsoo came through the door.
"Hi guys!" he smiled.
"Welcome back" I smiled at him.
"Did you make sure she got home safely?" Rose asked. "I don't want Chris yelling at us for not taking care of his sister properly."
"Don't worry, Rose" he smiled. "I made sure to walk her home."
"Did you guys have fun?" Angela asked.
He nodded and yawned "Yes."
"Go and rest" I ordered him. "We don't need you collapsing because you didn't get enough sleep."
"Okay" he sleepily yawned before trudging off to his room to sleep.
Woohyun nudged me and whispered "What do you think?"
"I think he's in love" I whispered back with a chuckle.
"Me too" Woohyun smiled.
"Okay guys!" I called out to the rest of them. "Let's go and get something to eat."
"What about him?" Sungyeol asked as he pointed to Myungsoo's room.
"Let him rest" I replied. "He had a long night."
The girls quickly corralled the guys and pushed them out the door before they could protest and ask more questions about Myungsoo.
Chris POV
I woke up with a massive hangover and was surprised when I realized I wasn't in my own bed.
"Morning!" June greeted me with a glass of water. "Breakfast is almost ready."
"How did I get here?"
"You drank too much last night" she frowned. "I wouldn't have been able to carry you to your place, so I just brought you here."
"Oh" I hung my head in shame. "Did Phoebe get home alright?"
"She's fine" she smiled. "I'm sure Myungsoo took good care of her."
"That's good, wait what?" I was surprised.
"Oh, Phoebe and Myungsooo went to out to take pictures last night. She texted me this morning that she got back home safely.
I sighed in relief. "I still don't like the idea of her hanging out with that guy, but I guess it will be okay since it's just one day."
"Why are you so against it? It looks to me like they get along well together."
I sighed "Have you forgotten what we do for a living?" She looked at me in shock. "We are reporters. We are the type of people who dig into the private lives of celebrities like him. I don't want Phoebe to have to deal with anything like that. I want her to have a normal life."
"Then why did you insist on having her work with us" she argued back. "If you wanted her to have a normal life, then you should have never made her a reporter."
"You're right" I sighed. "I probably shouldn't have had her come work with us" I thought about it a little "but I don't regret my decision. She really is a great photographer. We needed her."
"What are you going to do?"
"It's her decision" I stood up and smiled. "I'll support her no matter what she chooses to do."
"It's going to be tough keeping secrets" June sighed.
"No harder than it was for Rose" he smiled. "Don't forget" he placed his hands on my shoulders "Rose was our mentor. Everything we know, we learned from her. If she could keep a secret that big from everyone; we can too."
June smiled "Plus, the three of us have each other to rely on when things get tough."
"Right!" I hugged her tight.
Myungsoo POV
After taking a nice long nap, I woke up and texted Phoebe. ~Morning Hope you slept well~
~Morning? LOL Did you just wake up?~ she replied.
~Yeah~ I blushed. ~Want to go out for lunch?~
~Okay~ she replied. ~Where should we meet?~
~I'll come pick you up~
I quickly washed up and got dressed before hailing a taxi. When I arrived at her apartment, I started to nervously sweat. I pressed the intercom for her place and she buzzed me in. I climbed the stairs and knocked on her door.
"Coming!" I heard her call from inside. Then I heard her run to the door to open it. "Hi!" she smiled when she saw me.
"Hi" I blushed back.
"Come in!" she stepped aside to give me room. "I'm almost ready."
I followed her inside and took a seat on her sofa. "Your apartment is nice" I commented. I had only walked her to her building this morning. I didn't go inside.
"Thanks!" she answered from the other room.
As I looked around the room, I couldn't help but be drawn to one of the pictures hanging on the wall. I stood up and walked over to it to get a better look.
"What do you think?" she asked as she suddenly appeared beside me.
I was shocked to see her next me, but happy at the same time. "It's amazing! Who took this?"
She blushed "I did."
"You?" my eyes widened.
"I went to Vegas a couple of years ago, before I became a reporter."
"Really?" my heart almost stopped. "When exactly did you go?"
She thought for a minute and then replied "It was May of 2014." I stumbled a bit, but she quickly reached out to grab me. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine" I nervously smiled.
"You don't look fine" she argued. "Do you want a glass of water?"
"Sure."
She went to the kitchen and I took a seat on the sofa again. I looked up at the photo one more time and laughed to myself.
"Here you go" she said as she handed me the glass of water.
"Thanks" I smiled back at her. I quickly drank half the glass in one gulp.
"Thirsty much?" she giggled.
"What is the title of that photo?"
She gazed up at it and smiled sweetly "Longing for love."
