~Nathan PoV~

I woke up on the shores of some strange island with huge boulders and a tall, dark forest. I looked beside me to see an unconscious Katie begin to stir. "What happened?" She asked groggily. "We were teleported somewhere." 

"How?"

"Probably the spell."

~Back to 3rd Person~

"I can reverse it then." She looked around and saw the frightening truth; the book had stayed in the field. They were trapped. "What's wrong?" Nathan asked worriedly at her shocked expression. Then he, too, realized the situation. "Lets go find some dry wood..." Katie said then walked into the woods, Nathan following close behind. They dug a burrow to store the wood, and marked it with some cloth torn off of Nathan's shirt. Next, while Katie looked for food, Nathan created a small fire pit in the center of the den and some makeshift beds out of soft moss and fallen leaves. Katie had noticed something upon her awakening. She couldn't use magic. 

 A few days had passed. Katie's raven hair had become knotted and unkept, and the humid air didn't cope with them.  It was while walking through the woods when Nathan felt the first drops of rain fall onto his skin. Then it began to pour. He rushed through the trees in order to preserve the firewood he had just collected. 

When he got back Katie was already there, drenched. The fire had gone out. Nathan put down the fairly dry wood next to the fire pit. They set up a small fire and huddled up next to it. Once dry, they got up and thought of something to pass the time. Katie giggled at an idea that popped into her head. "What's so funny?" Nathan asked with curiosity as he smiled. "Just an idea."

"Oh?"

"Nothing, it's a dumb idea."

"Can I still hear it?"

More giggles filled the room. "We can dance." Nathan's smile grew and he held out his hand. Katie, surprised, took it and they started to dance to an imaginary beat that would repeat in their minds. Their faces grew red as they smiled, but they didn't seem to notice. Their laughs echoed through the burrow, their bodies making it all the way around the open space. When they paused to catch their breath, Nathan stared into Katie's wondrous eyes. He stepped closer to her and leaned in, carefully placing his lips onto hers.
