Long Lost Part 2, The Accident
A week has passed, and Katie has become better a swordsman than her mother, which showed her tremendous effort to master this power and become who she wanted to be. Nathan, too, was trained to fight alongside Katie if they ever had the need. "Alright, today we will start on your survival skills." Kathrine said. And so they started, first by examining plants to see if they were poisonous or not, and seeing which ones were harmful. Next they learned how to dig some sort of burrow for shelter, and were taught how to hunt. This knowledge would allow them to live off the land if it ever need be. And it would, at some point.
Anyway, Katie was really enjoying seeing Nathan all the time like this. Her heart raced just thinking about him, let alone training with him. Little did she know, Nathan enjoyed this quality time with her, a little too much. Whenever he would do something like, for example, keep her arms from bending, he would try to hide the heat rising to his cheeks as he looked at her determined, yet beautiful face, her sky blue eyes sparkling in the bright daylight.
A month passed. Kathrine trained Katie and Nathan until they were better than her, and her mother had done the same, along with her mother, and so on. One day, Katie left a note for Kathrine saying that her and Nathan had gone to the field to practice some complicated spells from the book. But when Kathrine arrived to supervise, it was too late. She heard the spell she was most fearful of, the one that would take her precious daughter away from her. "Incorito, Sionafoli, Harumsononi!" Magic encased the two friends and they disappeared from their spot, to a place where its whereabouts were unknown to this day. But something even worse happened.
The spell book with the reverse incantation had stayed in the field.
There was no way back.
