Goal Nearly Reached
"So... Mr Keaton? What is the plan? How are we to go about this?"
"It is quite simple, actually, ever so simple. We must talk to our queen."
"Seriously? Just because she is building an incline and decorating the island doesn't mean that she has succumbed to Nook's greed."
"Listen to me," the yellow and blue eagle thundered to the unsuspecting ostrich. "She is so close to having the island at three stars. In fact, if she wakes up tomorrow and asks for evaluations, I am almost positive it will be three stars."
"I trust in what you are saying, Mr Keaton. Are you sure that you are not being too forward in what you are thinking?" Phoebe asked the eagle, a faint smile on her lips.
"Trust in my plans! Do you wish to be removed from this island? That can be easily arranged..." Keaton schemed, and Phoebe was having none of it.
"Maybe I should! You started this group out of love for Glace, correct? Well, you don't love her any more than anyone on the 'outside' does! In fact, Sherb seems to care for the poor girl more than you ever could! Hmph, you are out of touch," the ostrich began to rant to the eagle. "Why would you turn some of her favourites against her? And what's with going gaga over Freya? She's no more special than the rest of us!"
Freya folded her arms over her chest for a moment. "Well, no matter what she thinks, I agree with your planning. I am the only consolidation you should need, master," the pink wolf said icily, clearly making a jab at the ostrich.
"That does it! We want fairness. Chairwoman or not, you can't just suddenly play favourites like this!" The kangaroo huffed with an angry expression. "Some time after the concert... I shall move out. Phoebe, you would join me in my endeavours as well, right?"
"Yes, the campsite villager that comes a week after you leave shall kick me out..." Phoebe murmured.
"Ladies!"

I caught an olive flounder!
That's not the pits!
Glace sighed and took her rod out the water for the final time that day, heading towards where Sherb was. She observed that Sherb was bug catching, Stinky was fishing, and Freya was talking to Keaton.
Something about them talking to one another made the resident representative's bones rattle, but she didn't understand quite what it was. So, she decided to find Flora and stop by her place for a chat. Glace made her way to the pink ostrich's face, wanting to see her beam again after being given some beautiful clothes.
But the resident representative had never had anything cool to give her, if she were to even want anything. All she had were bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Glace noticed a dent in the ground and decided to dig up whatever was under there. Isabelle had said that there were maple leaves floating around, so she should probably catch those.
Glace blinked in confusion. In a day or two, would the island actually be good enough to warrant the famous musician. K.K. Slider, to visit that Saturday? Or was there still more that needed to be done?
The resident representative saw a maple leaf and, almost if instinctively, switched her fishing rod for her net so she could grab it. Thank god she was no longer relegated to flimsy tools.
I caught a maple leaf!
It's the colour of fall!
Glace wished it said autumn instead of fall.
"Hey, Glace! I've got something I want to ask you!" Stinky shouted, coming running up to a confused resident representative.
"No need to shout, mate. I'm right next to you," Glace reminded the cat.
"I know, GAHHH! I was just thinking... do you want a nickname? We're so close, and it seems like a chore to shout out 'Glace' whenever I wanna talk to you... what do you think about 'triceps' as a nickname?"
"May I propose that you call me 'icy'? My name means 'ice' and 'ice cream' in French, so it's not much of a stretch," Glace suggested.
"Hmmm..." Stinky mumbled as he pondered the nickname. "I like it, it suits you! From now on, you're 'icy'!"
Glace grinned and gave Stinky a happy wave, before heading off to enjoy the rest of her day.

"So... how are the plans progressing, young ladies?" The eagle queried, staring over the shoulders of the three females.
"I don't know what exactly those two are plotting, but they aren't sounding like they actually want to help us in our endeavours," the wolf said what she thought of her fellow villagers.
"They have been my allies for a long time, you must trust in them as you have in me," Keaton told Freya, who simply nodded sagely in response to the eagle.
"I understand, master. I shall do my best to provide you with results," Freya told the eagle. Her voice had a bit of a bite to it as she spoke, which sent chills down the spines of the eagle and the kangaroo, who had been quietly eavesdropping.
Marcie snuck away to inform the ostrich of what was going on.
"Are you kidding me? Do you know what was being said? Do you know of her plans?" The ostrich thundered after hearing what the kangaroo said.
"Let's go and check on him and the Chairwoman, shall we?" The kangaroo said with a wide smile lighting up her entrie face.
They snuck off to the side of the tent.
"Kill him," Freya said simply.
"What did you say?!"
"Kill him! Kill the offensive one! Kill Mr Nook!"
"Are you serious?"
"No, of course not! However, I shall find us some new recruits."

Glace was busily crafting at home, since both her watering can and her bug net had broken.
She got exhausted after a while, so the girl headed out to find one of her newest villagers, Gloria.
"Why hello there, quacker," she said. "I believe Sherb wants to teach you how to make something."
Glace nodded, and as the duck lived right next door to Sherb, headed to the next house along.
