Long Gone and Moved On (chapter 34)
[A/N: HEY GUYS! I know this chapter is super short, but it is necessary to be this short!! The next chapter should be heaps longer, so it should make up for this chapter's shortness. I have one more exam so I should update fairly quickly, but I have to still write the next chapter! Yay! Okay, I know I'm not making sense but someone is taking up all the space in my brain!

'"Aleeeec," I greeted as I got out of my car.
"Taamsiiiin," he greeted back and we started laughing.
"What's up?" I asked casually, as we walked into the school building like every other day.
"Not much. Hey, do you want to go to the beach tomorrow after school? It's meant to be 86 degrees, and the last day of good weather for a while..." Alec trailed, looking where he was walking.
My brain automatically went to degrees celcius, so I was confused for a moment.
"Is that hot or cold?" I asked, my mind going blank as I tried to think.
Alec burst laughing at me and I narrowed my eyes.
"Shut up," I groaned. "I'm still not used to this!"
"It's hot, Tam," he replied, making me feel stupid.
I groaned and he laughed at me again.
Ugh! Stupid weather!
"If you stop making fun of me then I'll go!" I exclaimed, poking my tongue out at him.
"Fine! I'll stop making fun of you..." Alec trailed, and I laughed at his expression.
I don't know why, but I found it amusing.
"Be prepared to cover your ears, they get really loud!" Pa warned, as everyone walked inside and made their way to the living room.
"What game are you watching?" Tristan asked, smiling in anticipation.
"North Melbourne versus Sydney, 1996 grand final!" I exclaimed happily.
Liam was born on the day of this game, and I love it because I go for North Melbourne and they win!
"Awesome! Go Sydney!" Tris exclaimed, and I rolled my eyes at him.
He is just saying it to piss me off.
Tristan goes for North Melbourne too.
I sat down on the couch in between Alec and Bronte; Tristan sitting on the recliner to my left and Liam on the floor beside it.
Liam pressed play and the screen was brought to life.
Within minutes, Liam, Tris and I were all yelling at the tv, everyone laughing at us.
"NO! Archer! Seriously? You were right in front of the posts!!!!" I yelled.
"What the hell?!?" Tristan screamed, infuriated, I huffed in dissapointment.
"You suck, Archer! You so did not deserve the Norm Smith!" Liam exclaimed, and I rolled my eyes at him.
Stupid Sydney supporter.
"Shut up, Liam!" Tristan and I exclaimed at the same time and everyone laughed at us.
"You already know what happens!" Alec stated, and I think he was enjoying this.
"Ya? And?" I questioned, narrowing my eyes at him before turning back to the screen to watch Glen Archer kick a goal from fifty metres out.
"Hell yeah!" I screamed at the tv, then poked my tongue out at Liam.
"Freaking North supporters..." He rolled his eyes, and everyone laughed.
"Does anyone know what the hell is going on in this game?" Hunter asked, and everyone shook their heads, no.
"It's simple! North is kicking Sydney's ass!" I exclaimed.
Liam stalked out of the room dramatically.
What a drama queen!
"Okay, so can you explain how the point system works? And basically all the rules and I'm just confused..." Alec trailed, and I laughed at the adorable confused expression he was wearing on his face.
"Okay. So the biggest poles are the goal posts, and if the player kicks the footy between them they get 6 points. If you get them between either of the small posts then it is 1 point. You can bounce the footy and there are a whole lot of other rules that would take too long to explain!" I ranted, and Alec looked more confused than last time, if that was even possible.
He is so adorable!!
"Okay...." He trailed, and Tris and I laughed again.
We watched the last half of the game, and at one stage I actually threw some popcorn at the tv.
North Melbourne won, 131 to 88.
Suckers...
Everyone started leaving and I was semi-grateful as I was so exhausted from the lack of sleep the previous night. Alec had been taking up all the space in my brain and making me extremely un-tired.
"Alright, so I'll see you tomorrow? Don't forget to take bathers to school!" Alec reminded me, and I nodded.
"See you then!" I replied, closing the door as he was the last one out of the house.
I walked up to my room, took my shower and climbed into bed in my Coldplay t-shirt and my pj shorts.
I can't wait for tomorrow!
