1. The Beginning

Everything was new. New town. New house. New school. New people. New me.
My mom and dad moved here to have a fresh start. My dad had an affair with his assistant. My mom caught them screwing in my parents' room on my brother's birthday.
My parents decided to try to make it work in a new town. That was three years ago.
My mother was a strict woman. She expected perfection.
Perfection...
What does it mean to be perfect?
To most people it means to be proper and flawless. To wears skirts, love the color pink and want be prom queen. To wear makeup being rich and to be popular...
Though there are a few down to earth people, who don't want any of that. Who thinks being yourself is the best you and that your imperfections make you perfect...
I found that with him..
You are probably confused so let me explain.
I hated that word. I hated being perfect so much. My life had been surrounded by it because of my mother and father. My mother, Alita and my father, Michael were very high, well-known people. My mom was a fashion designer and my father was a music producer. My older siblings, Damien and Vanessa and I raised to be a specific way. Basically taught to think we were better than everyone.
I obviously didn't follow that.
My whole life I never experienced anything fun. No holidays, birthdays, basically anything that could be remotely fun because my parents were busy and strict about image.
The Bennetts were one of the richest families in the country. They were respected and envied by people, kids at school didn't talk to me because they thought she was pampered. I never had friends so I was a loner.
Vanessa and Damien were very popular though. They had so many friends.
"Beccs!" I snapped back into reality remembering I was in class doing an eexperiment. Vanessa looked at me weirdly. I gave her a reassuring smile, "Sorry, I zoned out. I am really tired, m had me up late at a dress fitting for this banquet." Vanessa rolled her eyes, she and mom did not like each other since Vanessa was rebellious. She moved out last month when she turned 17 and moved in with her boyfriend, Sam.
Mom thought she was scum, so she disowned her. She raised an eyebrow and shook her head "That witch is absolutely bonkers." We both giggled at her comment.
We went back to project but we got distracted when we heard the girl from the table in front of our say "They are here!" The classroom got quiet when a group of boys walked in. Meaning my brother and his friends were here. I rolled my eyes.
There was my brother, Damien and his friends Jay and Freddie. They were popular and basically the definition of what every girl wanted I guess.
Most of the girls in the class were in love with them. I wasn't one of those girls. Well I did think one of boys was cute but I didn't really like them or talk them.
Mr. Diaz looked at the boys with a smile, "Take a seat boys and get your notebooks for the experiment." The boys walked to their seats but the Jay stopped in front of our table.
He smirked at Vanessa and leaned against their table "Hey Ness, I was wondering if you would come sit with me at lunch." A few girls pouted that they weren't being asked by brunette boy. Vanessa looked unfazed by his charm, she rolled her eyes "Never in a million years Besson." She said causing me to giggle.
Jay glared at me "Shut it you prissy emo." He hissed angrily.
I smirked at him, "Step on lego Jay." I said making Freddie laugh from his table.
We went back to our experiment until Vanessa tapped my paper with her pencil. I looked up at her with a confused look on my face. I put down my pencil, "What's wrong Ness?" I questioned, I was a little annoyed because I was trying to finish the project.
Vanessa looked at me a little confused, "Okay I thought you should know that Freddie has been staring at you for the past ten minutes." I raised an eyebrow and turned my head back to look at the dirty blonde to see that he was staring at her intensely.
{Switch to 3rd person}
Freddie stared at the girl, he noticed everything about her. The way she had a few strands of her straight blonde hair in her face. How her brown eyes sparkled when they had the sunlight them at the right angle. Her rosy cheek turned bright red whenever she was noticed or nervous. The Evans boy winked at her causing her to becoming pink and quickly turn back.
Freddie had been fascinated by Bennett since the day she came to town years ago. She wasn't like other girls who would do anything for him. She didn't talk to him, well she didn't talk to anyone except for her siblings but that was because she was shy girl, at least that was what he thought. He talked to her time to time since she was Damien's sister.
The bell soon rang, Rebecca packed her bag. She dropped her notebook, "Dang," She went to reach for it but someone got it for her. She looked and saw it was Freddie, who gave her a smile, "Sorry for my brother." He said and Rebecca raised an eyebrow. "it's whatever, I do hope he steps on a lego though." She muttered.
He chuckled and rubbed the his neck "Yeah he can be a douche sometimes," She was confused on why a boy was talking to her. Especially since he was popular. "Don't you have band practice to go to or something?" She asked. He chuckled "No, I just want to talk to you. I noticed that you never really talk people besides Vanessa." He said.
Rebecca gave him a soft smile and gave him a soft pat on the shoulder, "Maybe some other time." She said leaving Freddie shocked. Normal girls didn't usually turn him down. Freddie smirked, "I love a challenge." He doesn't take no for an answer.
Rebecca walked to her next period which was with Nessa as usual. Vanessa looked at her confused, "What took you so long Beccs?" She shrugged. "Mr.Diaz needed my late work."
